Objective To simulate the process of lag screw insertion on intact pelvises under guidance of conventional fluoroscopes or 2D and Iso-C3D computer-assisted navigations and evaluate the accuracy and practicability of the computer-assisted navigation. Methods Six dried intact adult pelvic specimens were selected and divided into three groups randomly. A total of 54 hollow screws were placed in bilateral pedicles of S1 and S2, anterior column of bilateral acetabulum, anterior column of bilateral acetabulum and pubic symphysis of intact adult dried pelvic specimens of three groups under guidance of conventional fluoroscopy, 2D and Iso-C3Dcomputer assisted navigations, respectively. The accuracy of the screw positions, the average operating time of each screw insertion and the average time of radiation exposure during the insertion of each screw were compared among three groups. Results There were significant differences in the accuracy of the screw positions, the average operating time and the average time of radiation exposure among three groups (P<0.01). The navigation with Iso-C3D appeared to provide the highest accuracy and the shortest operating time of all guidance techniques. The mean operating time and the average time of radiation exposure of the conventional fluoroscope were the longest among three groups. The average time of radiation exposure of the 2D computer-assisted navigation was the shortest. Conclusions Iso-C3D computer-assisted navigation is the most accurate and expeditious means of all guidance techniques. The time of radiation exposure can be significantly reduced by both 2D and Iso-C3D computer-assisted navigations.

Objective To explore the changes and effect of functional connectivity(FC) of reward network in chronic heroin addicts(HA) using resting-state fMRl(rs-fMRI). Methods rs-fMRI was performed on 26 chronic heroin addicts(HA group) and 25 matched normal volunteers(control group). The rs-fMRI data were proceeded by usingrs-fMRI(DPARSF) software on Matlab 2009a. Bilateral nucleus accumbens(Nacc) were set as ROIs. Then the mean time series of ROI were compared with other voxels within the brain by the rs-fMRI data analysis toolkit(REST). Intra-and inter-group analysis was performed with single sample and two sample t test respectively. The association of intensity of FC in brain regions and the duration/doses of heroin consumption was investigated. Results In HA group, positiveresting-state FC compared with the ROIs was found in frontal gyms, dorsal striatum, thalamus and pons, while temporal lobe, negative found in part of parietal cortex and occipital cortex, part of dorsal lateral prefrontal cortex and cerebellum. Within control group, positive FC compared with the ROIs was found in frontal gyms, dorsal striatum, thalamus, hippocampal gyrus and pons, occipital cortex, negative FC with ROIs found in part of dorsal lateral prefrontal cortex and cerebellum(P<0.005, voxels>26). Compared with the control group, the FC between the right Nacc and the bilateral calcarinegyrus, left middle occipital gyrus(voxel numbe r=31,28,47;t=3.99, 3.74,3.74;and P<0.005,respectively)were significantly increased in the HA group. The FC between the left Nacc and left fusiform gyrus and right precuneus(voxel number=40,26;t=3.77,3.57;and P<0.005, respectively)were significantly increased, while between the left Nacc and left dorsal medial/lateral prefrontal cortex and bilateral dorsal anterior cingulate(voxel number=98;t=-4.14;and P<0.005)were significantly decreased in the HA group. There was no corrlation between the abnormal FC and the duration/doses of heroin consumption in HA group(P>0.05). Conclusion The abnormal interaction between Nacc and the regions involved in cognitive control and visual spatial attention may contribute to the heroin addiction.

OBJECTIVETo prepare CIT microemulsion and to investigate its properities and the absorption character in rat intestine in situ.
METHODThe optimum formulation of the blank microemulsion was selected by pseudo tertiary phase diagrams and the CIT microemulsion was prepared based on the blank microemulsion. The appearance, particle diameter distribution and Zeta potential were investigated by electron microscopy and grainsize analyzer. The entrapment efficiency was determined by sephadex column chromatography. An in situ single pass intestine perfusion method was used to investigate the intestinal absorption of CIT microemulsion. HPLC method for determination of CIT in the intestinal flux was established.
RESULTThe formulation was OP-glycerol-water-ethylis oleas (3:3:4:2). CIT microemulsion in electron microscopy was consisted of small spherical drop. The mean diameter was 61.7 nm, Zeta potential was -46.3 mV. The Entrapment efficiency was (92.1 +/- 1.74)% (n=3). Both CIT and CIT microemulsion had been absorbed in general intestinal tract, and the absorption of CIT microemulsion was significantly high compared with CIT in duodenum, colon, jejunum and ileum (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe preparation technology of CIT microemulsion was feasible, and the microemulsion system might improve the absorption of CIT in the intestinal tract.
