Objective To investigate the clinical therapeutic effect of Chaishi fever particles on patients with epidemic encephalitis B and to study the machanism of anti-inflammatory.Methods One hundred and twenty one patients with epidemic encephalitis B admitted to the Second Clinical Medical College of Henan University of Chinese Medicine from January 2014 to May 2017 were enrolled, and they were divided into a routine treatment group (60 cases) and a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment group (61 cases) by random number table. The patients in routine treatment group were given symptomatic support and comprehensive treatment for 15 days, while those in the TCM treatment group were given as that of routine group with the addition of Chaishi fever particles 8 g, 4 times every day, orally taken for consecutive 15 days. The levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin (IL-1β, IL-10) in the serum of two groups were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the clinical therapeutic effect, complications and sequelae in two groups after treatment were observed. Results Compared with the routine treatment group, after treatment the time of body temperature recovering normal (days: 5.8±1.2 vs. 7.5±1.7), the coma time (days: 5.5±1.3 vs. 6.8±1.6), the remission time of convulsion (days: 5.2±1.4 vs. 6.5±1.5), and the length of stay in hospital (days: 22.6±1.9 vs. 25.2±1.8 ) were significantly shorter in TCM treatment group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum tumor TNF-α and IL-1β were decreased, IL-10 was increased in both groups, moreover, compared with the routine treatment group, the changes were more obvious in TCM treatment group [TNF-α (μg/L): 11.4±3.6 vs. 14.6±3.5, IL-1β (μg/L): 22.3±6.2 vs. 26.2±5.6, IL-10 (μg/L): 225.2±19.2 vs. 186.2±21.5, allP < 0.05]. In addition, compared with the routine treatment group, the total effective rate was higher [98.3% (60/61) vs. 90.0% (54/60),P < 0.05], and the incidence of sequelae was lower [1.64% (1/61) vs. 13.3% (8/60),P < 0.05] in TCM treatment group. Conclusion The Chaishi fever particles can effectively treat the patients with epidemic encephalitis B and the action is related to the inhibition of inflammatory reaction.

Objective To study the effects of oncolytic adenoviruses ZD55 harboring IL-24 gene (ZD55-IL-24) on the apoptosis of human melanoma cell line A375. Methods The oncolytie adenoviruses ZD55-IL-24 were verified by PCR. Then, the viruses were propagated, purified, and titrated by HEK293 cell plaque assay. A375 cells were cultured, divided into three groups transfected with ZD55-1L-24, ZD55 fused with enhanced green fluorescent protein (ZD55-EGFP), and replication-deficient adenovirus ZD55 carrying IL-24 gene (AD-IL-24), respectively. The multiplicity of infection was 0.1, 1, 10 and 100, respectively.Subsequently, the eytotoxity of these viruses and proliferation of A375 cells were determined by crystal violet staining and methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay, respectively. The expressions of EIA and IL-24 protein were detected by Western blot in A375 cells. Results PCR verified that the adenoviruses ZD55-IL-24 contained IL-24 gene without wild adenovirns contamination. Crystal violet staining revealed that ZD55-IL-24 had an obvious eytotoxic effect on A375 cells, and MTT assay indicated that ZD55-IL-24 inhibited the proliferation of A375 cells in a time-and concentration-dependent manner. As shown by Western blot analysis, ZD55-1L-24 expressed IL-24 and E1A protein in A375 cells with a high efficiency. Conclusions The oncolytic adenoviruses ZD55-IL-24 can efficiently express IL-24 gene, inhibit the proliferation of, and induce the apoptosis in A375 cells.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect and complications of transurethral plasmakinetic prostatectomy (TUPKP) in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
METHODSAll 313 patients underwent TUPKP, and the operative indexes and perioperative blood indexes were recorded. After operation, 290, 288 and 142 cases of BPH were followed up at 1 month, 3 months and 1 year respectively. Qmax, IPSS and QOL were measured in all the catamneses.
RESULTSThe operative time was (51 +/- 22) min; the mount of blood loss was (66 +/- 60) ml; no TURS occurred in any cases. The mean catheterization time was (11 +/- 10) h and the mean postoperative stay was (3.6 +/- 1.3) d. Qmax increased from (9.0 +/- 4.4) ml/s to (20.5 +/- 7.1) ml/s at 1 month, (21.8 +/- 5.4) ml/s at 3 months and (21.4 +/- 6.6) ml/s at 1 year after operation (P < 0.01). Correspondingly, IPSS decreased from (26.2 +/- 5.1) score to (6.0 +/- 9.0) score, (5.6 +/- 0.8) score and (4.4 +/- 2.7) score (P < 0.01), and the QOL of all the catamneses significantly improved.
CONCLUSIONTUPKP, a safe and effective method with fewer complications, can be recommended for the treatment of BPH.

Many clinical studies on Cheezheng Xiaotong Tiegao have been accumulated since it was launched in 1993,but they have not been comprehensively analyzed and evaluated. This study systematically retrieved relevant studies in six databases at home and abroad as of December 2017. This study analyzed the statistics of the included studies in several aspects, including publication time, region, fund, disease category and type of study. In this study, various tools were used to evaluate the methodological quality of included studies, such as the Cochrane collaboration's tool for assessing the risk of bias in randomized trials,MINORS,IHE,AMSTAR2.The results showed that the literatures were mainly published from 2010 to 2011,and a total of 28 projects were financially supported. The most involved disease was arthropathy. The randomized controlled trials were the majority in the included studies, but the quality was low,and most of the literatures didn't report the allocation concealment and blinding. This study comprehensively reflected the current situations and shortcomings of the clinical studies of Cheezheng Xiaotong Tiegao, and put forward several suggestions,in the expectation of providing a reference for the future clinical research direction of Cheezheng Xiaotong Tiegao.
