Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2012;44(5):683-687
This review will discuss aerosol device technologies available for pulmonary vaccine deliveries. The possibilities of adopting aerosol-generation for the purpose of pulmonary immunization are described.Aerosol-generation systems might offer advantages in respect to vaccine stability and antigenicity. The noninvasive, relatively safe and low-cost net of pulmonary delivery may provide great benefits to the public health vaccination campaign.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the methodological bias of systematic review and the reliability of counclusions of tradi-tional Chinese medicine (TCM) combined with transarterial chemoembolization in the treatment of primary liver cancer, and pro-vide evidence-based reference. METHODS:Retrieved from Cochrane Library,PubMed,Guideline,CBM,CJFD and Wanfang Da-tabase,high quality systematic review about TCM combined with transarterial chemoembolization in the treatment of primary liver cancer was collected for reevaluation. RESULTS:Totally 12 systematic review were involved. Results showed TCM combined with transarterial chemoembolization can improve tumor’s objective response, prolong the survival time of patients, improve life quali-ty,reduce postoperative adverse reactions with no serious adverse reactions reported related to TCM in the treatment of primary liv-er cancer. CONCLUSIONS:The clinical efficacy of TCM combined with transarterial chemoembolization is superior to transarterial chemoembolization alone in the treatment of primary liver cancer, with better safety.

Objective To observe the effect of Bushen Yiqi Hexue Recipe(Recipe to reinforce kidney, replenish qi and harmonize blood)on the endometrial gland apoptosis in blastocyst implantation dysfunctional mice. Methods The mice models of blastocyst implantation dysfunction were made and divided into control, model and treated groups with 30 in each.Pregnancy rate, number of implantation blastocysts, the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA),bax,bcl-2 and activated Caspase-3 were observed. Results Compared with the control group, pregnancy rate and mean implanted blastocysts in the model group were remarkably reduced.Compared with the model group, pregnancy rate and mean implanted blastocysts in the treated group were significantly improved(P

Objective: To study clarifying for Naoqing Oral Liquid (Radix Puerariae, Radix Astragali, etc.) with chitin instead of ethanol. Methods: By studying precipitation effect of two clarification methods, in the meantime, studying the influence of different concentration of chitin on the clarification effect of Naoqing Oral Liquid. Results: Chitin had the more effective components than ethanol, and assured the stability of the preparation and shortened production period of the preparation. Conclusion: Chitin can clarify Naoqing Oral Liquid instead of ethanol.

Objective:To observe the influence of long-term exercise training on carotid intima-media thickness (IMT)in patients with mild-to-moderate hypertension. Methods:A total of 92 patients with mild-to-moderate es-sential hypertension (EH)were randomly and equally divided into exercise group and routine treatment group.Exer-cise group received exercise training based on routine treatment. All patients were followed up one year.Influence of long-term exercise training on carotid artery diameter and carotid IMT was observed in EH patients.Results:Af-ter one year, there were significant reductions in systolic blood pressure (SBP),diastolic blood pressure (DBP),ca-rotid artery diameter and carotid IMT in both groups,P<0.05 all;compared with routine treatment group, there were significant reductions in SBP [(145.72±11.31)mmHg vs.(130.89±13.01)mmHg],DBP [(88.49±7.32) mmHg vs.(81.71±8.45)mmHg],carotid artery diameter [(6.34±1.23)mm vs.(6.22±1.01)mm]and carotid IMT [(0.89±0.21)mm vs.(0.84±0.11)mm]in exercise group after treatment,P<0.05 all.Conclusion:Long-term exercise training can effectively reverse early arteriosclerosis lesion of carotid wall and effectively control blood pressure.

Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(04):-
Objective: To investigate the effective methods of nutritional support, to improve the endurance for the operation and to promote postoperative recovery in patients undergoing liver transplantation. Methods: The perioperative nutritional condition and nutritional-support methods were reviewed in 33 patients with liver transplantation. In the first 3 postoperative days, parenteral nutrition (PN) was used in combination with infusion of human albumin and plasma. From the 4th to 5th day, enteral nutrition (EN) was used in combination with PN. Finally, the complete oral intake of food was applied. Results: Of 33 patients, there were 30 patients whose serum levels of total protein (TP) and albumin (ALB) were elevated, and glutamic-pyruvic transminase (GPT), total-bilirubin (T-BIL) and combined-bilirubin (D-BIL) were descended after nutrition support. Conclusion: The operative endurance and postoperative recovery were improved effectively by proper nutritional support in liver transplantation patients.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2001;36(1):10-13
AIM To study the effects of Phe-Met-Arg-Phe-NH2 (FMRFa) on Na+/Ca2+ exchange and its specificity for Na+/Ca2+ exchange in rat ventricular myocytes. METHODS Na+/Ca2+ exchange current and other currents of ion channels were measured using whole cell voltage clamp techniques. RESULTS A dose-related inhibition of tetrapeptide FMRFa on Na+/Ca2+ exchange was observed in rat ventricular myocytes. Inward and outward INa+/Ca2+ were inhibited by 60.1% and 56.5%, respectively, at highest concentration (100 μmol*L-1) and its IC50 were 20 μmol*L-1 and 34 μmol*L-1 in inward and outward INa+/Ca2+, respectively. Inward and outward INa+/Ca2+ were inhibited 38.7% and 34.9%, respectively, at FMRFa 5 μmol*L-1. FMRFa 5 μmol*L-1 and 20 μmol*L-1 did not affect L-type calcium current, sodium current, transient outward current and inward rectifier potassium current. CONCLUSION These data indicate that FMRFa is a specific inhibitor of Na+/Ca2+ exchange in intact rat ventricular myocytes.

Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2010;26(3):532-534
Objective To observe the 3.0T MRI features of normal acetabular labrum and variation in children. Methods MR appearances of normal acetabular labra in 53 children aged from 4 days to 14 years were reviewed retrospectively. The children were divided into four groups according to the age:group A:0-3 years; group B:4-7 years; group C:8-11 years; group D:12-14 years. All of them were examined with 3.0T MR including axial and coronal sequences. Results ①MR appearances of normal acetabular labra could be classified into 3 types:triangle, flat-shape and absent in shape. Triangle was the most common (78.29%). ②There was remarkable difference in the distribution of labra morphology among different groups and different portions of hip. Triangle was most commonly observed in group D and on the anterior portion. ③High signal intensity of normal acetabular labra in MRI was most frequently seen on the anterior site of hip. Conclusion The shape and signal intensity of normal acetabular labrum in children varies in different age groups and different portions.
