3.Reliability and Validity of A Simple Apparatus Measuring Displacement of Pelvis in Balance Test
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2010;16(2):127-129
ObjectiveTo assess a simple apparatus measuring displacement of pelvis in clinical application.MethodsTwo testers measured the displacement of pelvis of 20 healthy young subjects moving their body forward, backward, leftward and rightward in standing position. The reliability of inter- and intra-tester was tested with intraclass correlation co-efficiency (ICC). And the validity between this method and Functional Reach Test (FRT) was tested.ResultsThe ICC of inter- and intra-tester were 0.91~0.97 and 0.94~0.98 respectively, and correlated with FRT (r=0.88, P<0.01).ConclusionThis simple apparatus can be used in a balance test.

Objective To explore the application of 2010 edition cardiopulmonary resuscitation clinical nursing teaching pathway combined with OSCE mode in teaching and assessment, and improve clinical emergency response capabilities. Methods 99 target school undergraduate nursing students were selected as research objects, and were randomly divided into the traditional group (50 students) and the combination group(49 students). The traditional group adopted the traditional CPR teaching and assessment methods, the combination group took the 2010 version of CPR pathway and OSCE clinical nursing teaching mo de.The mastery of CPR was compared between two groups. Results The mastery of cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills of the combination group was significantly better than that of the traditional group. Conclusions Implementation of the combination of 2010 version of the CPR and the OSCE clinical nursing teaching pathway mode can effectively promote the mastery of CPR skills by students, effectively improve the first-aid skills and adaptability of students.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(02):-
Objective: To determinate the content of isoimperatorin in Exocarpium citri grandis from 10 various species and origins. Methods: The isoimperatorin was determinated at 305nm by TLC Scanning. Results: The content of isoimperatorin in Exocarpium citri grandis was very low, and the law of distribution could not be found. Conclusion: Although the content of isoimperatorin in Exocarpium citri grandis was very low, the method is very sensitive and simple and the result is accurate.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(07):-
Object To establish the HPLC fingerprint of flavonoids in Exocarpium Citri Grandis (ECG) Methods HPLC fingerprint of ten samples were established. The naringin was used as standard. The relative migration time and the percentage of peak area were used as parameters Results More than 30 peaks occurred on the HPLC fingerprint of flavonoids of ECG. The fingerprints of C. grandis ‘Tomentosa’ and C. grands had obivous differences Conclusion The method is simple and accurate with a good reproducibility. It could be used for quality control and identification of ECG

Chinese Journal of Diabetes 1995;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the effects of glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1)on the expression of apoptosis-related molecules including programmed cell death 5(PDCD-5)gene in pancreatic ? cells induced by proinflammatory cytokines. Methods Mouse islet ?-cell line NIT-1 was incubated for 24 h with cytokine mixture(Mix)in the absence or presence of GLP-1.The apoptotic cells were assayed by flow cytometry after stained with annexin V-FITC and propidium iodide(PI).The expressions of PDCD5,Fas,and caspase 3 were detected using reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)and Western blot. Results The number of both annexin V single positive cells and annexin V/PI double positive cells significantly increased in the cells treated with 30 U/mL interleukin-1?(IL-1?)+ 100 U/mL interferon-?(IFN-?)+ 100 U/mL tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?).The expressions of PDCD5,Fas,and caspase 3 at both mRNA and protein levels were upregulated in the cells exposed to the cytokines. The above-mentioned effects of the cytokines were reversed by 10 nmol/L of GLP-1.Conclusion These data show that the proinflammatory cytokines cause pancreatic ? cell apoptosis via activation of PDCD5 signal pathway and that GLP-1 inhibits the upregulation of PDCD5 expression and the subsequent event of apoptosis induced by the cytokines.

Chinese Journal of Radiology 2001;0(09):-
Objective To study the radiographic features of pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma (PSH), and to correlate the imaging with the pathologic findings so as to improve the imaging diagnostic abilities. Methods The clinical features of 45 patients with pathology proved PSH between 1976 and 2002 were reviewed. Of the 45 patients, there were 3 men and 42 women, their age ranged from 18 to 67 years (median age, 49 years), and 19 patients were asymptomatic. 20 patients had chest radiography and CT scans. The radiographic findings were studied retrospectively and were correlated with that of pathology. (7 patients) underwent unenhanced CT and 13 patients had enhanced CT. Results Of the 20 patients who had chest X-ray, 18 patients presented as a solitary, round or oval shaped lesion with well-defined margin. On CT scans, the greatest dimension of the lesion ranged from 1.9 cm to 7.0 cm. A homogeneous soft-tissue attenuation was revealed on unenhanced scans. Homogeneous enhancement was detected in 9 patients and heterogeneous enhancement in 4 patients on enhanced CT. Cystic change was found in 1 patient showing lower attenuation than the enhanced solid tumor, and calcification was found in 5 patients. Correlation of radiographic and pathologic findings indicated that higher attenuation areas corresponded to the angiomatous areas. Conclusions PSH should be considered with the following features: (1) female patients between (40-60) years of age; (2) well-defined round or oval shaped lesion on chest radiography; (3) a homogeneous soft-tissue mass on unenhanced CT; cystic-like area within the tumor and/or calcification can occasionally be found; (4) homogeneous or heterogeneous enhancement after contrast administration.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2010;16(1):14-15
ObjectiveTo explore the relationship between the motor cognitive ability and the incidence of fall in the aged people. MethodsAccording to the fall experience within a year, 91 aged people were divided into 2 groups: fall group and non-fall group. They were tested using the Timed Up and Go Test (TUGT) with the eyes opening or closing. The anticipated time, actual time and the difference were recorded. ResultsThere were significant differences between these 2 groups in the eye-closed anticipated time, actual time, the difference of eye-open anticipated time and eye-closed anticipated time, the difference of eye-open anticipated time and actual time (P<0.05). ConclusionThe motor cognitive ability of the falled elderly more depends on their vision. The motor cognitive disability is one of the factors resulted in fall in aged people.
