Objective To discuss the effect of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in modulating immune responses in a rat renal transplantation model.Methods An in vivo trial of cytology was performed in one centre from March to December in 2008.Wistar rat donors and Lewis rat recipients in a renal transplantation model were randomly divided into 4 groups:MSCs (low dose,1 × 106 )therapy,MSCs (high dose,1 × 107) therapy,CsA monotherapy,and no therapy.Biochemistry methods were used to detect the levels of creatinine in serum.The survival time,renal grafting function and pathological changes of transplanted renal tissues were observed.Results Animal survival was significantly prolonged by MSCs (high dose) therapy and CsA monotherapy as compared with the no therapy group (both P＜0.01).Animal survival in the MSCs (low dose) therapy group was prolonged as compared with no therapy group (P＜0.01),but shortened as compared with MSCs (high dose) therapy group (P＜0.05) and CsA monotherapy group (P＜0.05).The MSCs (high dose) therapy and CsA therapy groups showed no special changes in histology,hut the control group showed acute rejection.Conclusion MSCs down-regulated immune responses,reduced production of some inflammatory mediators,preserved graft function in the initial stage after transplantation,and prolonged animal survival,and these effects were the same as those of CsA therapy with 1 × 107/day.

Clinical data of 27 children with renal calculi (11 cases on the right side and 16 on left)who were treated with extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL) using HB-ESWL-VG lithotripter from April 2006 to October 2008 were retrospectively reviewed.The size of stones ranged from 5 mm to 17 mm in diameter (mean 11 mm).In 22 out of 27 cases (82%) stones were crushed completely after the first course.Eleven of 27 ESWL cases were stone-free in 7 days,8 patients in a month after treatment;the stonefree rate was 96% when patients were followed up for 1 year.The results suggest that ESWL is a safe and effective method for treatment of renal calculi in children.

Objective To study the expression profile of microRNAs in the lung adenocarcinoma tissue and its expression in CD133+ lung cancer cells .Methods The specimens of adenocarcinoma tissue and pericarcinomatous tissue were collected for con-ducting the microRNA expression chip analysis .The flow cytometry(FCM ) was adopted to sort and culture CD133+ A549 cells in serum-free medium for 2 weeks .The positive rate of CD133+CD44+ in those cells was assayed .The expression of miRNA-892b and miRNA-4686 in CD133+ A549 cells were detected by real-time qPCR .Results Compared with the pericarcinomatous tissue ,27 miRNAs expressions in the lung adenocarcinoma tissue were up-regulated(P<0 .05) and 6 miRNAs expressions were down-regula-ted(P<0 .05) .The positive rate of cancer stem like cells CD 133+CD44+ was 75 .0% .The expression of miRNA-892b and miRNA-4686 in CD133+ A549 cells was higher than A549 cells(P<0 .01) .Conclusion Abnormal expression profile of miRNAs in lung ad-enocarcinoma tissue ,and miRNA-892b and miRNA-4686 may play a certain role to maintain the biological characteristics of CD133+ lung cancer cells .

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of endooscopic minimally invasive McKeown esophagectomy in the treatment of esophageal carcinoma. Methods From June 2012 to August 2015, the data of 180 patients with esophageal carcinoma was retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into endoscopy McKeown esophagectomy group (EME group) and open McKeown esophagectomy group (OME group), each group had 90 patients. The clinical pathological data, perioperative data and postoperative complications between the two groups were analyzed. Results The operation time in EME group was longer than that in OME group [(289 ± 30) min vs. (252 ± 28) min, t= 8.063, P< 0.05]. The intraoperative blood loss and postoperative blood loss on the first day after operation in EME group were less than those in OME group [(178.94 ± 47.84) ml vs. (323.44 ± 59.51) ml, t=17.952, P<0.05; (220.93 ± 49.07) ml vs. (362.59 ± 68.37) ml, t= -15.968, P< 0.05]. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the number of lymph node dissection (t= -1.913), postoperative hospitalization days (χ2= 4.858) and postoperative complications (exact probability method) (all P> 0.05). Conclusions Endoscopic minimally invasive McKeown esophagectomy has the same effect as open surgery, and trauma is small. Therefore, for the patients who are suitable for the minimally invasive surgery, it can be preferred.

New process reported the synthesis of telavancin using decyl alcohol as the starting material.After methanesulfonylation,nucleophilic substitution with ethanolamine,Fmoc protection,and Parikh-Doering oxidation,the intermdiate N-(9-fluorenyl-9-methoxycarbonyl) decylaminoethyl acetaldehyde (5) was obtained.Vancomycin hydrochloride and intermediate 5 were then subject to reductive amination reaction,Fmoc deprotection,and Mannich reaction to give the telavancin product.The process have been deeply studied on the two key reactions of reductive amination and Mannich reaction,and the reaction conditions have been optimized.The overall yield is 46％ based on starting material vancomycin.

Objective To explore clinical value of the single-hale video-assisted thoracoscope surgery in lung surgery.Methods In our hospital from January 2015 to June 2015, a total of 60 patients was performed with lung partial resection line thoracoscope surgery, 28 routine puckering traditional video-assisted thoracoscope treatment, in the same period 32 underwent video-assisted thoracoscope surgery.Intraoperative blood loss, operating time, postoperative pain degree, and postoperative chest such as flow rate were compared between two groups.Results Two groups of patients had no perioperative death and severe complications.Intraoperative blood loss and operating time were no significant significance between single-and double-hole operation groups.The degree of postoperative pain score was (0.8 ± 0.5) in puckering thoracoscope group, and (1.2 ± 0.6) in traditional thoracoscope group, with significant difference (P =0.009).Conclusions Single-hole thoracoscope surgery in the treatment of lung diseases is feasible and reliable compared to traditional thoracoscope surgery, and patients can effectively reduce postoperative pain, and improve the quality of life.

Objective To investigate the effects of estrogen and tamoxifen on the expression of high mobility group box 1(HMGB1) in human breast cancer cell line MCF-7.Methods MCF-7 cells were incubated with 17-beta E2 and tamoxifen at different concentrations for 4 days,respectively,with ethanol as control.Real time RT-PCR and Western blotting were used to detect the expression of HMGB1 at mRNA and protein level after different treatment of the cell line,respectively.Results Compared with ethanol control,HMGB1 mRNA and protein level were significantly decreased when 17-beta-E2 was added at concentrations of 10-6 and 10-4 mol/L(P

Objective To detect the expression of the tryptase in the plasma,and study the meaning in brain traumatic patients.Methods There were two groups:the brain traumatic group(40 patients)and the control group (20 health people).The content of plasma tryptase was determined by fluorescence enzyme immunoassay..Results The level of plasma tryptase had no statistical significance in control group(2.97 ±1.05)μg/L compared with the brain traumatic group(3.03 ±1.39)μg/L,however there had statistical significance comparing with sever brain traumatic patients(3.84 ±0.52μg/L)(t =3.32,P <0.05).4 cases of death in patients with severe head injury group content of tryptase (5.85 ±1.05)μg/L,which was significantly higher than the group of 16 cases of injury in severe head injury after 2 months still alive with the content of serum tryptase (2.49 ±0.52)μg/L,the difference was statistically significant (t =8.13,P <0.01).Conclusion The plasma tryptase level in sever brain traumatic patients increased significantly,and might be of importance for treatment strategies and prognosis.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of the social support, coping styles and self-efficacy on depression of adults with epilepsy. Methods84 patients with epilepsy were evaluated with Zung's self rating depression scale (SDS), general conditions questionnaire, Social Support Scale, Coping Styles Questionnaire, General Self-efficacy Scale. Based on the SDS, they were divided into the depression group and the epileptic group.Results52 patients suffered from depression (61.2%). There were significant differences in general self-efficacy, coping styles and social support between the depression group and the epileptic group （P<0.05）. The score of SDS was positively correlated with the frequency of seizure, duration of epilepsy, fantasy, self-accusation and avoiding （P<0.05）, and negatively correlated with the economic status, total support, objective support, subjective support, utilization of support, problem solving, help seeking, rationalizing and self-efficacy （P<0.05）. Multiple regression analysis showed that the score of SDS was correlated with the self-efficacy, help seeking, self-accusation, economic status and frequency of seizure.ConclusionThe depression of adults with epilepsy are affected by the social support，coping styles and self-efficacy.
