Objective To investigate the safety and feasibility of operation on complex laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods The clinical data of patients underwent complex laparoscopic cholecystectomy since 1990 in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Results Except 2 patients treated by abdominal operation, other patients were treated by laparoscopic cholecystectomy successfully. Conclusion The complex laparoscopic cholecystectomy is safe and feasible with sufficient evaluation before operation and proper management during operation.

Objective To investigate the safety of laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC) under the use of cardiac pacemaker for the patients with cholelithiasis and serious cardiac arrhythmia. Methods The clinical data of 8 cases undergoing LC under the use of vvI cardiac pacemaker were analysed. Results All the 8 cases undergoing LC by cardiac pacemaker had successful results. There was no cardiac accident or complication of the pacemaker in perioperative period in this series, and the postoperative course was smooth . Conclusions LC is safe under the use of cardiac pacemaker, if the decompensation of heart is controlled and the anaesthesia and operation are estimated correctly.

Objective To determine the protective effect of osteoprotegerin (OPG), receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B (RANK) and RANK ligand (RANKL) on avascular necrosis femoral head. Methods Necrotic tissue or corresponding normal tissues were collected from 29 avascular necrosis femoral head patients.Quantitative Real TimePCR ( qPCR ) is used to evaluate mRNA expression of OPG , RANK and RANKL.OPG and RANKL protein levels were estimated by Western blot. Results The results of qPCR showed that the expression of OPG in the necrotic tissue was significantly higher than that in the normal tissue (4.56 ±0.37) (3.39 ±0.52) (P<0.05).The expression levels of RANKL mRNA in necrotic tissues and normal tissues were (0.86 ±0.11) and (0.31 ±0.08), respectively, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The expression levels of RANK mRNA in necrotic tissues and normal tissmes were(0.87 ±0.12), (0.56 ±0.13) respectively, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The ratio of RANKL/OPG and RANK/OPG in normal tissues were 0.69 and 0.52, respectively. In the necrotic tissues, RANKL/OPG and RANK/OPG ratios were 1.35 and 0.61, respectively. Results of Western blot showed that the expression of OPG in necrotic tissues was consistent with that in normal tissues. The expression of RANKL protein was detected in all samples , and the expression of RANKL protein in necrotic tissue and normal tissue was almost the same.RANK protein expression was not detected in all samples. Conclusion OPG, RANK and RANKL play important roles in progress of bone remodeling in necrotic area and in disturbance of bone homeostasis and might have an effect on bone destruction and subsequent collapse of hip joint.

To obtain bovine adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs), bovine ADSCs were digested in collagenase type I solution. The growth curve of ADSCs was checked by cell counting. Chromosome analysis was checked. The molecular markers of ADSCs were detected with immunofluorescence staining. The morphology of ADSCs was identical to fibroblast like and the cells showed active proliferative ability. Vimentin, CD49d and CD13 antigens were detected, but CD34 antigen was negative. Alkaline phosphatase activity was greater in ADSCs during calcification, and Alizarin Red staining was positive. Lipid droplets were apparent around cells during adipogenesis, and Oil Red-O staining was positive. The results demonstrated that ADSCs could be used as seed cells for tissue engineering due to the simple isolation, differentiation and stable and active growth.

Objective:To investigate the normal range of exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) in 6-18-year-old children in China, so as to provide a data base for the establishment of FeNO standards for Chinese children. Methods:A multi-center study was conducted on 5 949 children aged 6-18 (3 101 males and 2 848 females) in 16 pro-vinces of 7 administrative districts in China.According to the technical standard recommended by American Thoracic Society/European Respiratory Association, FeNO was measured, and the relationship of FeNO with the sex, age, height, weight, body mass index and region was discussed. Results:The geometric mean FeNO value of Chinese children aged 6-18 was 14.1 ppb, and its 95% confidence interval (skewness distribution) was 1.0-38.2 ppb.The geometric mean FeNO values of children aged 6-11 and 12-18 were 13.1 ppb and 15.7 ppb, respectively, and their 95% confidence intervals (skewness distribution) were 1.0-38.1 ppb and 2.0-38.2 ppb.For children at and under 11 years old, FeNO decreased with age, with a mean decline of 1 ppb per year. The multiple linear regression results suggested that there was a significant correlation between FeNO and age for children aged 6-11, and FeNO of children aged 12-18 was significantly correlated with the gender, height, and region(all P<0.01). Conclusions:FeNO values of Chinese children and adolescents in this study are higher than those obtained by the previous study conducted from 2010 to 2012.For children aged 12-18, 16 ppb is recommended as the clinical cut-off point. For children at or under 11 years old, the influence of age on FeNO should be considered, and the cut-off point of FeNO decreases by 1 ppb as the age is reduced by one year.
