Methods:The content of mahuannin A was determined by an HPLC-ELSD method on an Alltima TM C18 column (250 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5 μm). The mobile phase was acetonitrile-water (28∶ 72) with a flow rate of 0. 7 ml·min-1, and the column temperature was 30℃. The temperature of drift tube heater was 105℃ and the flow rate of carrier gas was 2. 8 L·min-1 . Results:The linear range of mahua-nnin A was 42. 56-383. 04 μg·ml-1(r=0. 999 8). The average recovery and RSD was 99. 9% and 1. 96%(n=6), respectively. Conclusion:The method is simple and the result is accurate. It can be used for the quality control of ephedrae radix et rhizaoma.

Objective To explore the inhibition role of araloside on cervical cancer HeLa cell proliferation and migration to reveal the molecular mechanism of NF-κB in HeLa cell in the process of tumor suppression. Methods The in vitro cultured cervical cancer HeLa cell line served as the research object. The experiment was divided into the control group and araloside(200 μg/mL) treatment group(observation group). The change of proliferation and migration ability after 48 h were observed in the two groups.Western blot was used to detect the expression of NF-κB molecule and change of autophagy involved protein Beclin 1 and LC3B.Results Araloside could significantly inhibit the proliferation and migration of HeLa cells and the NF-κB signaling pathway, and promoted the expression of autophagy related molecule Beclin 1,Atg 5 and LC3B.Conclusion Araloside could inhibit the NF-κB signaling pathways, thus induces autophagy occurrence and influences the proliferation and migration of cervical cancer HeLa cells.

Objective:To optimize the extraction process of the total flavonoids from Ephedrae Radix Et Rhizoma. Methods:The purification method of the total flavonoids from Ephedrae Radix Et Rhizoma was optimized with the yield and content of the total fla-vonoids as the indices. Based on the above research, the process parameters were optimized by an orthogonal test. Results:The opti-mum purification conditions were as follows:the volume fraction of ethanol was 50%, the stirring extraction time was 20 min, and the liquid-solid ratio was 8∶ 1(ml·g-1). Conclusion:The optimum purification technology is simple and reproducible, and suitable for the industrial production.

Objective To explore the effect of araloside on the proliferation and apoptosis of HeLa cells. Methods Human cervical cancer cell line HeLa was cultured in vitro, the experiment was divided into 4 groups as follows:blank group, araloside trea-ted groups(50,100,200 μg/mL).Normal saline and araloside (50,100,200 μg/mL)were gave,respectively.24,48 and 72 hours lat-er,the cells were collected.Cell proliferation was detected by MTT,cell apoptosis was determined by flow cytometry, the expression of pAkt1,pIкBα,NF-κB (p65),Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 were evaluated by western blot. Results Araloside obviously inhibited the pro-liferation and increased the apoptosis level of HeLa cells in a time-dose dependent manner. Moreover,Araloside significantly de-creased the phosphorylation of Akt1 and IκBα,reduced the expression of NF-κB(p65)and Bcl-2,whereas obviously increased Caspase-3 content. Conclusion Araloside could inhibit the proliferation and promote the apoptosis of HeLa cells via suppressing Akt/NF-кB signaling pathway.

Objective:To establish the quality standard for Herba Euphorbia esulae. Methods:A TLC method was used to identify Herba Euphorbia esulae. An HPLC method was used to determine the content of quercetin with the following conditions: an AlltimaTM C18column(150 mm ×4.6 mm,5 μm) was eluted with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.4% phosphoric acid(30 :70), the flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1 , the detection wavelength was 360 nm and the column temperature was 35℃. Results:The characteristic spots of samples were the same as those of the standard samples. The linear range of quercetin was 3.194-102.208 μg·ml-1(r=0.9999) and the average recovery was 99. 0% (RSD=1. 68%, n=6). Conclusion:The method is quick, simple and accurate, which can be used for the quality control of Herba Euphorbia esulae.

OBJECTIVETo intervene the health behavior of lead exposed workers by setting down and implementing a series of measures and evaluating the effects of these measures so that the occupational lead poisoning would be decreased.
METHODS105 lead exposed workers in a factory were chosen as subjects. Blood lead concentration and rate of cognition on relevant health knowledge were examined before and after intervened measures.
RESULTSThe cognition rate raised from 56.6% to 97.3% after training. Lead concentration in blood decreased by 17.7% (t = 4.10, P = 0.000) and delta-ALA in urine decreased by 23.9% (t = 4.248, P = 0.000) 12 months after intervention. The prevalence of occupational lead absorption and poisoning also decreased. The number of workers with blood lead content > 2.41 mumol/L was decreased from 6 to 3, and > 1.93 mumol/L from 14 to 10.
CONCLUSIONTo develope occupational health promotion, enhance health education and improve health behavior are the effective way to prevent from occupational lead poisoning.
