1.Comparison of effects of anesthesia induction with different anesthetics on intraocular pressure

Objective To compare the effects of propofol,nidazolarm versus etomidate combined with sufentanil for anesthesia induction on intraocular pressure.Methods Forty-five ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients,aged 20-40 yr,scheduled for surgery under general surgery,were randomly divided into 3 groups(n =15 each):propofol group(group P); midazolam group(group M)and etomidate group(group E).Anesthesia was induced with iv injection of propofol 2 mg/kg,midazolam 0.2 mg/kg,and etomidate 0.3 mg/kg in P,M and E groups respectively,and then with iv injection of sufentanil 0.2 μg/kg and cisatracurium 0.2 mg/kg in all the groups.The patients were then tracheal intubated.Intraocular pressure(IOP)and MAP were recorded at 1 m in before induction of anesthesia (T0),before intubation(T1),and at 0,1 and 2 min after intubation(T2-4).Results Compared with group P,the incidence of intraocujar hypotension was significantly decreased in group M(P < 0.01).Compared with group E,the incidence of intraocular hypertension was significantly decreased in P and M groups(P < 0.05),The correlation coefficient between MAP and IOP was 0.831,0.889 or 0.806 in group P,M or E respectively(P <0.05),and there was no significant difference in the correlation coefficient among the three groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion Midazolam combined with sufentanil for anesthesia induction exerts less influence on lOP and the degree of MAP fluctuations is a major factor contributing to the change in IOP.
2.Application value of BODE index in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in rural China

Objective To evaluate the application value of BODE and the relationship between BODE index and life quality in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in rural China. Methods A total of 26 rural patients with stable COPD were enrolled. BODE index and it's four components including body mass index ( BMI ), airflow obstruction ( FEV1 % ), dyspnea ( MMRC ) and exercise capacity ( 6MWD ) were calculated. St. Georgeps Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ) were used to evaluate health-related quality of life of these patients. Results The BODE index was significantly correlated with the SGRQ total score , symptom ,activity and impact score ( r = 0. 674,0. 430,0. 460,0. 495 respectively, Ps < 0. 05 ). GOLD grade was only significantly correlated with the SGRQ total score and active score( r =0. 447,0. 418 ,Ps <0. 05 ). Stepwise liner multiple regression analysis showed that activity score of SGRRQ was an influence factor of BODE index. 6MWD of BODE index( t = - 2. 397, P = 0. 025 ) and MMRC ( t = 2. 257, P = 0. 034 ) were independently correlated with activity scores of SGRQ . Conclusion BODE index and life quality had significant relationship. 6MWD and MMRC of BODE index were the most powerful influence factors of life quality in rural COPD patients.
3.Gemcitabine hydrochloride thermosensitive gel injection preparation and contents determination

Objective To prepare gemcitabine hydrochloride thermosensitive gel injection and to stablish the determina‐tion methods of its contents .Methods Gemcitabine hydrochloride thermosensitive gel injection was prepared using PLGA‐PEG‐PLGA as thermosensitive viecle .The contents of gemcitabine hydrochloride were determined by HPLC .Results The formulation contained 40 mg/ml gemcitabine and 20% (wt) PLGA‐PEG‐PLGA with phase‐transition temperature of (37 ± 0 .15) ℃ ,showing the best viscosity around human body temperature .Gemcitabine hydrochloride presented a good linearity in the range of 5‐500 μg/ml(r=0 .999 8) ,which had good precision and reproducibility .The recovery rate of low ,middle and high concentrations of gemcitabine hydrochloride were (99 .5 ± 3 .2)% ,(100 .4 ± 2 .4)% ,(102 .1 ± 2 .4)% ,n=3 ,respectively . The average contents of gemcitabine hydrochloride in three batches of sample were (101 .87 ± 2 .95)% ,(99 .4 ± 2 .73)% , (98 .98 ± 0 .71)% ,n=3 ,respectively .Conclusion The quality of gemcitabine hydrochloride thermosensitive gel injection with PLGA‐PEG‐PLGA as matrix could be controlled .It is a promising new drug for pancreatic cancer .
