The effect of Fusarin C, a new mutagen extracted from Fusarium moniliforme,on murine peritoneal M? activation by measuring M?-mediated MTC ADCC and CS,Fusarin C could inhibit M? activation by both MAF and FDP. The inhibitory effect was dose-and time-dependent and the curves of dose-and time-response were similar in all three assays. There is, however, apparent difference in Fusarin C dose and time needed to induce significant in hibition among these assays. Significant inhibition occured at 0.4?g/ml and 0.5?g/ml for MTC and CS respectively, but 1.6?g/ml for ADCC. Similarly, the minimal period of time necessary to bring about significant inhibition was 2 hr for MTC, but 3 hr for ADCC. Finally, significance of the inhibitory effect of Fusarin C on M? anti-tumor activity in relation to carcinogenesis was discussed.

The inhibitory effect of Fusarin C,a new mutagen isolated from Fusarium moniliforme,on M? activation was investigated.The inhibitory effect of Fusarin C disappeared partially after 24 hr culture in the absence of the mycotoxin and completely after 72 hr.In addition,it could be overcome by high concentrations of M? activating factor or anti-serum to the target cells.

AIM: To establish HPLC for determination of 2,3,5,4′tetrahydroxystilbene-?-O-?-D-glucoside in Radix polygoni multiflori preparata. METHODS: The column was diamonsil C_(18)(5 ?m,4.6 mm?250 mm).The mobile phase was CH_3CN-CH_3OH-H_2O(10∶20∶70) and ?=320 nm.The flow rate was 1.5 ml/min. RESULTS: The linearity was in the range of 0.0253-0.3542 ?g.The average recovery and RSD were 99.34% and 0.49%,respectively. CONCLUSION: The method is simple,precise and reproduciable and can be used for determination of 2,3,5,4′-tetrahydroxystilbene-?-O-?-D-glucoside in Radix polygoni multiflori preparata effectively.

Objective:To investigate the impact of alanyl-glutamine(Ala-Gln) on outcome in radiation enteritis rats.Methods: Male SD rats(n=70)were separated randomly into four groups: control group(n=10),AR+pseudosurgery group(n=20),AR+TPN group(n=20) and AR+TPN+Ala-Gln group(n=20).Rats were observed for mortality,changs of body weight,villous hight and area,the bcteriral translocation(BT)in mesenteric lymph nodes(MLNs),liver,spleen and peritoneal cavity.Serum TNF-? and sIL-2R level were determined by sandwich ELISA.Results: When Ala-Gln was administered in radiation enteritis rat,the mortality,body weight loss and bacterial translocation were decreaded,the villous hight and area was increased and the TNF-? and sIL-2R levels were reduced.Conclusion: Parenteral Ala-Gln nutrition can improves the results of radiation enteritis rats.

Objective To investigate a cure for neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) by observing the curative effect on neonates with HIE admitted to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).Methods Fifty neonates with HIE from May to Dec.in 2006 admitted to NICU for treatment(NICU group),which contrast to the 42 neonates with HIE in corresponding periods of 2005 year(control group).The curative effect of three supports and three expectant treatment were evaluated by observing vital signs,oxygen saturation,biochemical test,and the neonatal beha-vioral nerve assessment (NBNA) respectively; Clinical curative effect contained markedly effective and effective which as the total curative effect statistics.Results There were no obvious difference between each group from the means of blood sugar data while hospitalizing as well as the NBNA in 3 days. Objective To observe the curative effect of Rougan Granules on rats hepatocirrhosis induced by carbon tetra- chloride(CCl_4)with 10 % alcohol and high fat feed.Method The rat model was established by gastric garage of CCh (CCl_4:salad oil=1:1)1 mL/kg twice a week for two weeks,and with 10 % alcohol as drinking water,high fat feed as food.After administration of CCl_4,the rats were divided into 5 groups:the model group,high-,medium-and low-dosage of Rougan Granules groups,the eolchicine group.And normal control group was also set up.After adminis- tration for 6 weeks,hyaluronic acid,typeⅣcollagen and typeⅢprecollagen in serum were measured and liver histopathol- ogy examination was done.Result The contents of hyaluronic acid,typeⅣcollagen and typeⅢprecollagen in model rats were increased significantly,while Rougan Granules could decrease those increase significantly.Liver histopathology exami- nation showed medium or high fatty degeneration of hepatic cell,obvious hyperplasia of fibrous tissue with fibrous distance broaden and pseudolobuli formed in model group,but in Rougan Granules group the general pathological changes of liver were less.Conclusion Rougan Granules have an effect of experimental anti-hepatocirrhosis in rats.
