Objective To analyze the factors related to glare occurred after the phakic intraocular lens (P-IOL) implantation,and to raise the standard for the P-IOL selection.Design Retrospective case series.Participants 104 patients with high myopia underwent P-IOL implantation in Beijing Tongren Hospital.Methods In 104 cases,22 cases (22 eyes) were implanted angle supported Phakic6 designed accord with corneal symmetry,54 cases (54 eyes) were implanted iris fixed Verisyse,and 28 cases (28 eyes) were implanted posterior chamber PRL.Selection of the diameter of P-IOL optics depended on P-IOL diopters.The pupil diameter,the P-IOL optic center position,the pupil and corneal center position were measured with anterior segment optical coherence tomography (OCT).The contrast sensitivity (CS) under different condition (day,day and glare,night,night and glare) and in different space frequency (1.5,3,6, 12,18c/d)were examined with Optec6500 system.Main Outcome Measures Glare incidence,CS,and the influence of pupil diameter and P-IOL location to glare.Results None of the 104 P-IOL eyes occurred glare in day time.59 eyes (56.73%) complained of glare in dime condition.The glare incidence was 63.18% (14/22) in Phakic6 eyes,55.56% (30/54) in Verisyse eyes,and 53.27% (15/28) in PRL eyes (P=0.691).CS of all surgical eyes were improved in day time with or without glare luminous environment (P=0.000).And the CS of halo-complaining eyes was lower than of no halo eyes in night time with or without glare luminous environment (P=0.000).Glare oc- curred more frequently in eyes with the pupil diameter larger than P-IOL diameter in clime condition after surgery (10 in Phakic6 eyes, 20 in Verisyse eyes,12 in PRL eyes,all P

Objective To study the effect of pentoxifylline (PTX) on acute lung injury (ALI) in murine sepsis induced by intra abdominal infection. Methods Wistar rats were subjected to sepsis caused by cecal ligation and puncture (CLP), and animals were randomly divided into normal controls ( n =6), sepsis group ( n =18), and PTX treated group ( n =18). Pulmonary biopterin, nitric oxide (NO) levels, and pulmonary myeloperoxidase (MPO) activities were measured, guanosine triphosphate cyclohydrolase Ⅰ (GTP CHI), inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), and tumor necrosis factor ? (TNF ?) mRNA expression were determined.Results Early treatment with PTX significantly decreased pulmonary MPO activities and TNF ?mRNA expression at 2 hours after CLP. Objective:To study the effect of GnRH analog triptorelin in resensitizing cisplatin-resistant human ovarian canc- er cells and to discuss the related mechanism.Methods:Cisplatin-resistant human ovarian cancer cell line OVCAR-3/CDDP was established in vitro.MTT assay was used to assess the inhibitory effects of triptorelin,cisplatin alone or a combination of both on OVCAR-3/CDDP cells.Flow cytometry was employed to observe the expression changes in epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)in different groups.Results:The drug restant index of OVCAR-3/CDDP cells was 13.42.The resensitizing fold of cisplatin combined with triptorelin was 3.80.The expression of EGFR had the most prominent decrease in OVCAR-3/CDDP cells in the combination group.Conclusion:Triptorelin can partially resensitize cisplatin-resistant OVCAR-3/CDDP cells,which might be related to the down-regulation of EGFR.

Objective To compare the clinical outcome of external fixation device with Kirschner wire or fragment fixation pin with mini plate and screw fixation in treatment of metacarpal and phalangeal articular fracture dislocation. Methods From October 2002 to March 2008, 106 patients with metacarpal and phalangeal articular fracture dislocation were randomly divided into A and B group. The 53 patients in A group were treated with external fixation device with Kirschner wire or fragment fixation pin. There were thumb injury in 24 cases, fracture-dislocation of proximal interphalangeal joint(PIP) in 36 cases, fracture-dislocation of metacarpophalangeal joint (MP) in 17 cases. The 53 patients in B group were treated with mini plate and screw fixation. There were thumb injury in 22 cases, fracture-dislocation of PIP in 30 cases, fracture-dislocation of MP in 23 cases. Duncan rating criteria were used to compare finger range of motion. Results The mean follow-up of 16.8 and 17.5 months in A group and B group. According to Duncan rating criteria, there were excellent in 33 cases, good in 16, fair in 3, and poor in 1 case. The excellent and good rate was 92.5% in A group. There were excellent in 30 cases, good in 17, fair in 5, and poor in 1 case. The excellent and good rate was 88.7% in B group. In A group, 1 case of wound infection was found. The average arc of motion of thumb joint was 134°±21° while the average arc of motion of other fingers was 248°±19°. In B group, no wound infection occurred. The average arc of motion of thumb joint was 122°±18° while the average arc of motion of other fingers was 225°±17°. Conclusion External fixation device with Kirschner wire or fragment fixation pin was better than the application of mini plate and screw fixation in treatment of metacarpal and phalangeal articular fracture-dislocation.

Objective Current study used quantitative research methods to reveal the regional medical information research in hotspots, and summarize the mainstream knowledge base to provide the reference for researchers in the field.Methods A systematic search was conducted to find publications in CNKI, Wanfang Database and PubMed.Bibliometrics method, social network analysis, coword analysis, principal component analysis and multidimensional scaling analysis were used in this study.Results ① total 11,482 articles published from 1984 to 2013 were screened out.The development of research publications showed an increasing trend, and the papers were distributed in 1233 types of journals.The number of authors who located in Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai,Shandong ranked top five.② The top 59 high frequency key words were identified that representing the hot contents in regional health information technology research field, and was used to build knowledge network map.Among them, HIS, electronic medical records, hospital information technology,information technology were at the core of this research area.③ We summarized research and development in the field of nine major mainstream knowledge base include: research on electronic medical records, medical personnel, information systems, information security, information networks, information sharing, information integration, information technology, and information management, resident' s health record related studies;qualitative analysis and problem-oriented research;HIS and telemedicine-related research;community related research, two-way referral related research, health care reform and cloud computing-related research, telemedicine related research and V43 related research.Conclusions The development of regional medical information research has good momentum and closely follow the international trend, but the research contents and methods are still distance from international standard..Research mostly focused on hospital information system construction, regional research and applied research are weak and need to be further improved.

Objective To evaluate the value of prenatal ultrasound in the interrupted aortic arch (IAA), and analyze the reasons of misdiagnosis and improve diagnostic ratio of this kind of defects. Methods Ultrasonic characteristics were analyzed in 16 fetuses with aortic arch anomalies, which were compared with ultrasound image and autopsy results of the normal fetus. The relativity of fetal IAA and abnormal chromosome was also analyzed. Results Among the 16 cases, 15 cases were confirmed by anatomy and the accuracy of ultrasound diagnosis was 94% (15/16), of which one case was serious constriction of aortic arch, one case was error type, three cases were obtained explicit type due to unsatisfactory results of prenatal ultrasound. The coincidence rate of ultrasonic type was 73% (11/15). All of the corrected diagnosed cases were detected with ventricular septal, of which 5 cases were detected with complete endocardial cushion defect, 9 cases were found extra cardiac malformations. Among the 7 karyotype check cases, 3 cases were diagnosed with Trisomy 18, 1 case Trisomy 13, while the rest 3 cases normal. The incidence rate of Trisomy 18 was 43 % (3/7). Conclusions Prenatal ultrasound shows a high accuracy in diagnosing fetal interrupted aortic arch (IAA ), but there’s a need to be improved in explicit typing. It is difficult to identify fetal interrupted aortic arch (IAA) and serious constriction of aortic arch (COA). The incidence rate of Trisomy 18 in the abnormal chromosome of fetal IAA is high.

AIM:A new method to rapidly non-destructive quality control Compound Danshen Tablet was developed by portable acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF)-near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy. METHODS:A portable AOTF-NIR spectrometer was used to test 215 different batches of Compound Danshen Tablet collected from fifty-six pharmaceutical factories. The samples were analyzed by the Unscrambler program using principal component analysis(PCA). Quantitative analytical models invoking the partial least squares (PLS) algorithm simultaneously predicted the contents of four major constituents in Compound Danshen Tablet:salvianolic acid B,tanshinoneⅡA,water extract and alcohol extract. RESULTS:The qualitative analysis models accurately identified the differences between Compound Danshen Tablet and other reference substances. The results of external validation showed by the significant t-test that no significant difference between predictive and the chemical value,RSD was equal to 0. 990 9,0. 991 3,0. 964 0 and 1. 73% ,2. 08% ,3. 32% ,1. 32% ,respectively. CONCLUSION:The method of rapid non-destructive analyzing Compound Danshen Tablet is explored.

The Qinghai⁃Tibet Plateau is known as one of the highest endemic areas of echinococcosis However，the dog infection rates of Echinococcus granulosus in the plateau regions were similar to other non⁃Tibetan areas with the high endemic，and most of the rates were below 40%. The infected dogs with E. multilocularis were ubiquitous in Ganzi Prefecture of Sichuan Province and Qinghai Province where many survey data were done and available，which was much different from those in non⁃Ti⁃betan areas where the geographical distribution of dogs infected with E. multilocularis was sporadic. The total infection rates of Echinococcus in dogs kept stable from 1983 to 2009 in Ganzi Prefecture of Sichuan Province and did not show much variation from 2000 to 2014 in Qinghai Province as well. Since 2006，the national comprehensive prevention and control strategy and mea⁃ sures against echinococcosis have been launched in China，and significant progress has been made. In the endemic Tibetan area of Sichuan，the general Echinococcus infection rates in dogs were 28.10%，15.87%，19.22%，3.28% and 1.11% from 2009 to 2013，respectively，and the Echinococcus coproantigen⁃positive rate in Gannan Prefecture of Gansu Province and parts of Qing⁃ hai Province also decreased. This paper reviews the literature on the characteristics of dog infections in the Qinghai⁃Tibetan Plateau，so as to provide useful information to support echinococcosis control and prevention there.

Objective To reveal the status quo and emerging issues of co-authorship in regional health informatization research community in China.Methods The terms or keywords describing and covering regional health informatization were used to search the most relevant literatures about the subject in CNKI,Wanfang database and PubMed.Software tools were used to extract bibliographic,Social network analysis (SNA);co-authorship,and co-word analysis were used in this study.Results ①11,482 articles with 16,449 authors in the period of 1984-2013 were found.Each publication has an average of 1.43 authors,and each author has 0.70 publications.The number of coauthored literature was 7741 (67.42 ％).Both production and collaboration have been growing steadily.② Coauthored knowledge network was build which composed by 150 high-yielding Authors.The largest component comprises 43 authors(28％,43/156).The intermediate centrality of 57 authors were above 0.③ 230 2-plexes were found,and 65 2-plexes scale was 4 and over;and there was overlap among them.There were extensive cooperation between the military institutions,a large number of regional health information technology research talent were found in army research institutes..Cohesive subgroups density showed an E-I index=-0.901,which indicated that factionalism was comparatively weaker in this field,and the relationship tended to occur among subgroups.④ Cooperative network was established between the provinces and municipalities.Beijing,Guangdong,Jiangsu,Hubei were the core area.⑤ The average distance between the author=3.155,and it consistent with the small-world characteristics.⑥ The largest component of the network research can be summarized into three categories:HIS-related research,electronic medical records related research,and regional health informatization related research.Conclusions Although such collaboration is growing steadily,the collaboration behavior about regional health informatization study needs to be enhanced.Policy makers and researchers can refer to the relevant information and promote cooperation,improve the capacity of regional health information research and construction.

Objective To screen cardiac-specific short-acting peptides on live myocardial slices using phage display technology,so as to improve the targeted delivery efficiency of drugs in myocardium and provide effective candidates for the targeted therapy of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and other cardiomyopathies.Methods Myocardial tissue slices were prepared and cultured in vitro.The protein activities of the tissues were examined by immunohistochemistry.The in vitro cultured myocardial tissue slices were co-incubated with phage library (1×1012 pfu),and the phages that bound to the myocardium were recovered and amplified.The cardiac-specific targeting phages were identified by five rounds of in vitro phage biopanning.The candidate phage-related insertion sequence was sequenced,and the in vivo tissue distribution of the highly enriched phages was verified.Results A platform for in vitro culturing of live myocardial slices was established.Myocardial slices with good biological activity were obtained.After 48 hours of culturing,the normal expression and localization of Dystrophin protein were detected.Using phage library,candidate phages were screened after five rounds of phage biopanning.The results of the sequencing analyses and in vivo tissue distribution verification indicated that the selected candidate phages showed significant enrichment in myocardium and skeletal muscle,and showed low levels in liver and kidney tissues.Conclusions The candidate phages showed higher binding efficiency in both myocardium and skeletal muscle,indicating that the candidate peptides had myocardial targeting property,and that can provide a new method for myocardial targeting therapy of DMD.
