Objective:To discuss the pathological relationship between P33ING1 and stomach cancer and its clinical significance. Methods: In 71 cases of stomach cancer specimen, twelve cases of gas tric mu cous membrane atypical hyperplasia tissues and 18 cases of normal gastric mucous membrane tissue（as control）,the expression of P33ING1 were detected b y EnVision immunohistochemical method,while the expression of P53 and Bcl -2 in stomach cancer were also detected. Results: P33IN G1 expression in mucous membrane atypical hyperplasia group and control group was positive, the expression in stomach cancer group was extremely low(62.0%，44 /71), significantly different from the other 2 groups(P<0.01).P33ING1 expression in stomach cancer was related to the tumor growth, lymph node meta s tasis and tumor polarization (P<0.01), P53 expression was related to tumor s ize, growth and lymph node metastasis (P<0.01). Bcl-2 expression was relate d to lymph node metatasis and tumor polarization.The expression of P33ING1 was related to that of P53 in stomach cancer(P<0.05),while had no relation with that of Bcl-2.Conclusion:P33ING1 may play an importa nt role in the occurrance and development of stomach cancer.It's very important to detect the expression of P33ING1 and P53 simultaneously.

Objective To establish an HPLC method for simultaneous determination of Quercetin , Luteolin, pigenin in Matricaria Chamomila L.. Methods HPLC analysis was performed on Agilent Zorbox SB-C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) with the methanol and phosphoric acid as mobile phase in equal degree model, and the column temperature was set at 25 ℃, and the flow rate was 1.0 ml.min-1 and the detecting wave length was at 350 nm. Results The linear response ranges were from 0.25-4.04 μg of Quercetin (r=1.000, n=6) and from 0.25-3.98 μg of Luteolin (r=1.000, n=6) and 0.25-4.02 μg of Apigenin (r=1.000, n=6);and the recoveries, the precision and the stability RSD of Quercetin, Luteolin and Apigenin meet the requirements. The average recovery rate of quercetin, luteolin and apigenin was 93.64%, 95.85% and 95.40%, respectively. Conclusions All 3 samples in Matricaria Chamomila.L were determined by HPLC. The method is simple, rapid, and reproducible. It can be used as reference for the quality control of Matricaria Chamomila L..

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinicopathological characteristics of primary Burkitt's lymphoma (BL) in the spermatic cord.

METHODSA case of BL of the spermatic cord was studied by histopathology and immunohistochemical techniques. The clinical data and the related literature were reviewed.

RESULTSThe patient was a 4-year-old boy, who was accidentally found with a bump in the scrotum. Surgery showed it to be a tumor located in the left spermatic cord and 5 cm x 3 cm x 2 cm in size, gray and fish-like on cross-sectional imaging. Histologically, it was characterized by monotonous infiltration of medium-sized cells with round nuclei, coarse chromatin, 2-5 basophilic nucleoli, and an appreciable rim of basophilic cytoplasm, in a typically starry-sky pattern imparted by interspersed tangible-body macrophages. Immunohistochemically, the tumor cells were diffused, positive for CD20 and CD79, some for CD10 and about 95% with the nuclear expression of Ki-67, but negative for CD3, CD43, bcl-2 and TdT as well as for EBER in situ hybridization.

CONCLUSIONPrimary spermatic cord BL is extremely rare, highly aggressive and with poor prognosis. Diagnosis of the tumor relies on its pathological characteristics and immunohistochemical staining. It is essential to differentiate BL from other types of lymphomas and malignant small-cell tumors of the non-lymphatic system.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the results of a variety of alternative endovascular techniques applied to patients with complicated abdominal aortic aneurysm complex abdominal aortic aneurysm (cAAA) and unsuitable for open surgery.

METHODSFrom January 2001 to December 2010, charts of all patients having an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) were reviewed. Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) was done in 138 patients, in which 9 patients were defined as cAAA such as juxta-renal AAA, short or angulated AAA neck, AAA with bilateral iliac artery aneurysms. There were 8 male and 1 female patients, aged from 26 to 87 years with a mean of 67 years. All these patients at high risk for open surgery were offered a modified EVAR technique including fenestrated technique, scallop technique, chimney technique, balloon assisted U-turn stenting and reverse-U stent-graft in 2, 5, 1 and 1 patients respectively.

RESULTSAll techniques were successful and without severe postoperative complications. An intraoperative endoleak was found in 4 patients and was corrected immediately. One patient with type I and III endoleaks underwent dilatation with a compliant balloon. Two patients with type I endoleak underwent coil embolization (1 patient) and bare stent (1 patient). During follow-up, one patient with a type II endoleak who demonstrated no increase in sac diameter during follow-up was observed. Mean follow-up was 25.9 months (ranging from 4 to 79 months). No rupture occurred and 8 aneurysms shrink significantly. In 7 patients, critical vessels (renal and mesenteric arteries) were protected during the initial procedure and remained patent except in one patient who was performed reverse "U" stent graft with thrombosis in hypogastric artery.

CONCLUSIONHigh-risk patients with cAAA inappropriate for traditional EVAR can be successfully treated by using simple ancillary endovascular techniques with acceptable short or mid-term results.
