Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
Objective To evaluate the estrogen activity of DDE by using MCF-7 cell proliferation bioassay. Methods The estrogen activity of DDE was tested by using the MCF-7 cell multiplication experiment in vitro and the mechanism was explored preliminarily through growth curve analysis. Results DDE showed an obvious estrogenic activity in the MCF-7 cell proliferation and the cell cycle analysis indicated that cell proliferation index in DDE group was significantly higher than that in the control group. Conclusion DDE has the estrogenic activity and the mechanism may be the same as that of E2,that is,binding with the estrogen receptor is the first step of the following biological effects.
2.Disc Diffusion on Fluconazole Susceptibility Test of Yeast-like Fungi: Evaluation and Clinical Practice
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2004;0(10):-
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the disc diffusion method on the clinical antifungal susceptibility test for yeast-like fungi.METHODS The fluconazole susceptibility test was detected by disc diffusion method and NCCLS broth microdilution method with 113 yeast-like fungus strains isolated from clinical specimens.Three standard strains were used as the quality control.RESULTS The coincidence rate of the two methods was 89.4%.The sensitive strains detected by one method didn′t show resistance in another detection method, and the resistant strains detected by one method yet didn′t show sensitivity in another one.CONCLUSIONS Disc diffusion method can be used in clinical detection instead of NCCLS broth microdilution method.
3.Clinical Features and Antimicrobial Resistance of Enterococcus Infection
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(07):-
OBJECTIVE To describe the clinical features, prognosis and antimicrobial resistance of Enterococcus infection.METHODS We had cultured and identified the bacteria of infected patients with normal methods and tested the resistance of Enterococcus to 6 antimicrobial agents.RESULTS A total of 130 cases of Enterococcus infection were occurred among the severe patients of ICU.Major sources includecl urine, sputum and ascites.A majority of them occurred together with other pathogens and had bad complications. The resistant rate of Enterococcus to penicillin, ampicillin, vancomycin, gentamicin, streptomycin and levofloxacin were 91.5%,23.4%,0,27.0%,32.0% and 24.0%,respectively.The cure rate and mortality attributed to Enterococcus infection after ampicillin, levofloxacin and/or third generation cephalosporins were 63.61% and 11.9%,respectively.The patients infected by Enterococcus and others bacteria together had bad prognosis.CONCLUSIONS The results hint that we should emphasize clinical and laboratory diagnosis to guide the application of antimicrobial agents rightly and improve prognosis.

Objective To determine the effects of EGCG on lipopolysaccharide ( LPS)-induced neuroinflamma-tion and investigate the role of neuroprotection mediated by EGCG .Methods Primary cultures of rat gliacyte were used as an in vitro model to examine the effects of EGCG on LPS-induced neuronal damage .The intracellu-lar Glu andγ-GABA were quantified via HPLC .Then the protein level of TNF-α,IL-1βand IL-8 was determined by ELISA and Western blot assay .Results Compared with the control group , LPS apparently induced the pro-duction of intracellular ROS ( P<0.05 ) and released the TNF-α, IL-1βand IL-8 in the primary cultures super-natant (P<0.05).Compared with the LPS group,EGCG significantly attenuated the release of TNF-α, IL-1βand IL-8 ( P<0.05 ) and the level of iNOS protein ( P<0.05 ) .LPS apparently induced the production of intra-cellular ROS( P<0.05 ) and released the TNF-α, IL-1βand IL-8 in the primary cultures supernatant ( P <0.05 ) .EGCG significantly attenuated the release of TNF-α, IL-1βand IL-8 ( P<0.05 ) and the level of iNOS protein(P<0.05), and rugulated the concentration of Glu/γ-GABA(P<0.05).Conclusions EGCG is effective in protecting hosts against LPS-induced neuroinflammation through anti-inflammatory effects and regulating extracel-lular Amino acid levels .

Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 2007;19(1):9-13,55
Objective Due to the incompleteness and complexity of fault diagnosis for power transformers, a comprehensive rough-fuzzy scheme for solving fault diagnosis problems is presented. Fuzzy set theory is used both for representation of incipient faults' indications and producing a fuzzy granulation of the feature space. Rough set theory is used to obtain dependency rules that model indicative regions in the granulated feature space. The fuzzy membership functions corresponding to the indicative regions, modelled by rules, are stored as cases. Results Diagnostic conclusions are made using a similarity measure based on these membership functions. Each case involves only a reduced number of relevant features making this scheme suitable for fault diagnosis. Conclusion Superiority of this method in terms of classification accuracy and case generation is demonstrated.

Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 2007;19(1):107-109,封3
Objective To study the expressions of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 in pancreatic carcinoma and their relationship with tumor invasion, local metastasis and prognosis of the carcinoma. Methods The expressions of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 were examined in 32 patients with pancreatic carcinomas by S-P immunohistochemical technique and the correlation with pathological tumor parameters were analyzed. Survival analysis was made by using the Kaplan-Meier method. Results The positive rates of MMP-2, TIMP-2 in 32 patients with pancreatic carcinoma were 56.25% and 75.00%, which were significantly higher than those of the controls(P<0.05). Expressions of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 were independent of sex, age, histological grading and type, but well correlated with the lymph node metastasis and TNM clinical staging(Ⅰ and Ⅲ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ). There was a significant association between MMP-2, TIMP-2 and prognosis in pancreatic carcinoma. Conclusion MMP-2 and TIMP-2 might be useful markers for biological aggressiveness of this malignancy and might contribute to the invasive properties of pancreatic carcinoma, which can be used to evaluate the prognosis of patients.
