Objective To explore a new bio-dynamic differential equation to establish gene regulatory network based on the time-space of gene expression.Methods According to bio-dynamic competitive model and differential equation,a new time-space Lotka-Volterra differential equation was established and was applied to time-order expression data.Results The model was applied to set up the regulation network of yeast genes.The regulatory relation was found and compared with the experiment results.Conclusion The results from the new model were almost consistent with the real situation.So this model can remedy the shortage of other models.It's a new valuable differential equation model.

AIM: To investigate the change of corrected vision and stereo vision in anisometropic patients after laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK).METHODS: The clinical data of 84 cases of anisometropic children(84 eyes) were retrospective analyzed.The changes of corrected visual acuity and stereopsis of different gender,age,type of amblyopia in children anisometropic before treatment,after treatment for 3,6mo and 1a were analyzed.The stereoscopic vision correction correlation were analyzed.RESULTS: Corrected Log MAR visual acuity and stereopsis of 84 patients after LASIK surgery treatment for 3mo,and 1a later significantly decreased than before treatment (P<0.05).The corrected Log MAR visual acuity and stereopsis of male and female after treatment for 3,6mo and 1a was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Corrected visual acuity of age <30 group for 3,6mo and 1a was significantly lower than the age ≥30 group (P<0.05).After 3,6mo and 1a stereo vision with hyperopic anisometropia amblyopia decreased more than that with myopic anisometropia amblyopia(P<0.05),but corrected Log MAR visual acuity after treatment was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).Improved correctted vision of anisometropic patients after LASIK surgery had no connection with the decrease of stereo vision(P>0.05).CONCLUSION: LASIK surgery can improve visual acuity in patients with anisometropia amblyopia,but the course of treatment of visual acuity and stereopsis affected by age and type of amblyopia.

Objective To confirm subject headings which are prepared to be added, deleted and modified in the class of traditional Chinese medicine and related disciplines (TG class) for the new edition of Chinese Traditional Medicine and Materia Medica Subject Headings (CTMMeSH). Methods Compiling principle, word frequency statistics and database retrieval results were considered. Other references, such as MeSH, were also used to help choose subject headings of TG class. Results In TG class, 35 subject headings were planned to be added, such as “medicine, traditional Korean”and“TCM constitution”;35 subject headings were planned to be deleted, such as“medicine, eastern tradition”and“meridians”;19 subject headings were planned to be modified, such as “four-constitution medicine” and “Minority Medicine”. The subject headings of “Minority Medicine”were unified to harmonize the problems of“TCM pharmacy”with other classes of subject terms. Conclusion Subject headings of TG class are chosen based on word frequency statistics. The word form are unified refer to regulation, teaching materials and documents, and should coordinate with subject headings of other classes.

The complex level of constructing biopharmaceutics classification system of Chinese materia medica CMMBCS) was the study of traditional Chinese compound, on the premise of insisting that the multicomponent simultaneous determination, when carrying out the study of intestinal permeability, the primary task was to define the source of the components that was absorbed through the intestinal wall, namely, which medicinal material the components belonged to in traditional Chinese compound. The technology of chemical fingerprint and in vitro everted gut sac model were used in this research to make multicomponent an intuitive source attribution which permeated the intestine in the classic formula Gegen Qinlian decoction, and to lay the foundation for the further qualitative and quantitative research of intestinal permeability.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of different reference vessel groups on CT perfusion in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) after radiation therapy,and explore the feasibility of substitution of reference vessel.MethodsThirty patients with NPC after radiation therapy were divide into two groups,recurrence group ( n =19) and fibrosis group ( n =11 ).All patients underwent CT perfusion scans,and the CT parameters were calculated with different arterial input and vein output in order to study their differences.The vessels were internal carotid artery-internal jugular vein( ICA-IJV group),external carotid artery-retomandibular vein (ECA-RTV group)and external carotid artery-internal jugular vein( ECAIJV group) respectively.The differences of the CT parameters between local recurrence group and fibrosis group were compared among the various vessel groups by rank sum test.With the help of receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC),the diagnostic efficiencies were compared by the area under the ROC curve (AUC).ResultsIn ICA-IJV group,ECA-RTV group and ECA-IJV group,bloood flow(BF) of local recurrence group were 201.88,439.59,252.23 ml · min-1 · 100 g-1,while BF of fibrosis group were 98.96,180.50,106.55 ml · min-1 · 100 g-1.Blood volume (BV) of local recurrence group were 6.71,12.39,6.70 ml/l00 g,while BV of fibrosis group were 2.35,4.76,2.95 ml/100 g.Mean transit time (MTT) of local recurrence group were 1.66,1.50,1.56 s,while MTT of fibrosis group were 2.13,1.96,1.79 s.Permeability surface (PS) of local recurrence group were 19.31,36.39,15.22 ml · min- 1 ·100 g-1,while they were 16.58,29.08 ,16.63 ml · min-1 · 100 g-1 in the fibrosis group.The differencesof BF and BV between the local recurrence group and fibrosis group were statistically significant in each vessel group (P ＜ 0.05 ) but MTT and PS showed no significant difference( P ＞ 0.05 ).In ICA-IJV group,the AUC of BF,BV,MTT,PS were 0.909,0.947,0.677,0.703,respectively.BF,BV,MTT,PS in ECA-RTV group were 0.938,0.967,0.648,0.679 respectively,and those in ECA-IJV group were 0.861,0.890,0.641,0.656 respectively.However,AUC of BF and BV of three groups all had significant difference ( P ＜ 0.01 ).ConclusionsBoth BF and BV values calculated by three pairs of reference vessels had enough diagnosis efficiency for local recurrence and fibrosis,so all of the three groups of vessels may substitute each other in CT perfusion.

Objective To investigate the ambulatory changes of the expressions of neuroserpin (NSP) and tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) during hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) in primarily cultured rat cortical neurons. Methods Cortical neurons were cultured from SD rats within 24 h after birth, and a H/R model was built. The immunofluorescence double staining and Western blot were used to detect the NSP expression in the cultured neurons. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect the expression of tPA. Results After oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD) for 1.5 h, the expression of NSP protein was mildly up-regulated, and it reached the peak at 6 h after reoxygenation (P < 0. 05). Then it decreased slowly and basically restored to the level before hypoxia at 24 h after reoxygenation. The cells expressed a small amount of tPA at 1.5 h after OGD (P < 0. 05 ). With the extension of time for reoxygenation, the tPA content increased gradually. OGD was significantly higher at 6 h after reoxygenation than before (P < 0.01 ). Then it decreased gradually, and it basically restored to the level before reoxygenation at 24 h after reoxygenation. Conclusions The expressions of NSP and tPA Were up-regulated significantly during neuron H/R injury, and the ambulatory changes of NSP and tPA were basically the same.

Objective To determine the effect of high-intensity physical activity on bone mineral density(BMD). Methods Thirty-six female soccer players (19.56±1.46 years) with more than two years training history and at least ten months soccer training annually were recruited as experiment group. Thirty-three female sedentary college students, whose physical activities were limited to the compulsory physical education curriculum,were assigned to the control group. BMD of lumbar spine and femoral neck were obtained before and after 24 months research,using dual energy X-ray absorptiometry. Results After 24 months research, increased BMD were found in both groups. Soccer players had 2.25% increase of lumbar spine BMD(P<0.05) and 4.90% increase of femoral neck BMD(P<0.05). Sedentary college students had 0.89% increase of lumbar spine BMD(P>0.05) and 2.03% increase of femoral neck BMD(P>0.05). Compared with sedentary college students,Lumbar spine and femoral neck BMD in soccer players were significantly higher(P<0.05) after 24 months research. Conclusion Long-term soccer training had the effect of greater acquisition of BMD.

A novel biosensor for aflatoxin B1 detecting has been reported. The biosensor electrode for AFB1 detecting was assembled by immobilized aflatoxin-oxidoreductase using open-ended multi-walled carbon nanotubes as matrix. Its linear range was between 0.16?M and 3.2?M. And if the specific anti-aflatoxin B1 antibody and aflatoxin oxidoreductase were both immobilized on the electrode with Multi-Walled carbon nanotubes, the detection limit of the modified electrode could be 16 nM with a 10 times improved sensitivity. The aflatoxin enzyme biosensor assembled this way strode one step forward its practical application.

“Multi-component Chinese medicine” was derived from effective clinical prescriptions, which is similar to natural medicines, and its form is similar to the fixed-dose compounds. The adaptable indications mainly cast chronic, intractable, and complex diseases. Its research targets of pharmacology mostly are diseases, symptoms or pathological process. Vivo and vitro experiments can be used in its researches. Its dose-effect relationship mostly shows non-linear relationship, and three elements (dose, efficacy and syndrome) are involved. However, the comprehensive evaluation method is still in the exploratory stag. In the safety evaluation, there were few general pharmacological researches, and the basis of toxicity and the relationship between amount and toxicity need further study. In combined optimization aspect, including identification of components and component ratio optimization, many methods have been developed, but it still needs to be developed in theory and systemic integration. Pharmacological mechanism researches focus on the multi-component, multi-target, multi-pathway, and multi-pharmacodynamics aspects, combined with new ideas and new technologies, such as systems biology, network pharmacology, etc. But as multi-component medicine, it should also be studied about the correspondence and network relationships of component and target, with a purpose to explain the contribution of each component in overall mechanism.
