Objective To evaluate clinical curative effect of levosimendan therapy on patients with refractory heart failure.Methods A total of 84 patients with refractory heart failure were randomly and equally divided into le-vosimendan group and routine treatment group.Both groups received routine antiheart failure medication,levosimendan group received levosimendan therapy while routine treatment received milrinone injection therapy additionally.Changes of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and plasma level of N terminal pro type B natriuretic peptide(NT -proB-NP)were compared between two groups before and after treatment.Results Compared with routine treatment group, there were significant increase in total effective rate of LVEF[(0.36 ±0.18)% vs.(0.42 ±0.36)%],and in NT -proBNP[(975.14 ±247.01)ng/mL vs.(832.14 ±224.78)ng/mL].The effect before and after treatment of levosi-mendan group were more obviously (NT -proBNP:t =2.3 -230.2,P <0.02;LVEF:t =2.29 -215.2,P <0.01). Conclusion Levosimendan can significantly improve heart function,decrease NT -proBNP level in patients with re-fractory heart failure.

Objective The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the initial X-ray display and prognosis of intracapsular fractures of the proximal humerus, and to probe a new criterion which can accurately predict the prognosis of the fracture. Methods Between April 1999 and February 2004, 459 cases of intracapsular fractures of the proximal humerus were treated conservatively, among which 211 cases had completed at least 9 months of follow-up and their complete data were available(mean age, 54.2 years; minimum, 17 years; maximum, 81 years; 82 males, 129 females), all the patients were followed up for 1.7 years on the average (ranging from 9 months to 3 years). According to the original X-ray, the fractures were classified by Neer classification. There were 68 cases of one part fractures, 39 cases of two parts fractures, 59 cases of three parts fractures and 45 cases of four parts fractures. The original X-ray and that of at least 9 months postoperatively of every case were assessed by seven structured standards and studied the relationship between the standards and prognosis. The seven standards are listed as follow: Neer classification; the length of the medial side of proximal humerus; displacement between humeral head and shaft; displacement of greater tuberculosis relative to shaft; displacement of medial cortex in fracture site; glenohumeral dislocation and humeral head split. Results 79% of the cases with a length of the medial side of proximal metaphyseal less than 8 mm, and 84% case with medial cortex displacement over 2 mm and 68% of Neer four-part fractures have a poor prognosis. The prognostic significance of predictors were listed as follow: the medial cortex displacement more than 2 mm (accuracy, 0.85), the length of the medial proximal metaphyseal less than 8 mm (accuracy, 0.83), Neer four-part fractures (accuracy, 0.76), Neer three-part fractures (accuracy, 0.72), glenohumeral dislocation (accuracy, 0.64), head-split components (accuracy, 0.64), displa-cement of the head more than 10 mm (accuracy, 0.54). Conclusion The new criterion provides a precise pr-ognosis prediction for intracapsular fractures of the proximal humerus thus it may be helpful in selecting a proper procedure.

AIM: To establish HPLC for determination of 2,3,5,4′tetrahydroxystilbene-?-O-?-D-glucoside in Radix polygoni multiflori preparata. METHODS: The column was diamonsil C_(18)(5 ?m,4.6 mm?250 mm).The mobile phase was CH_3CN-CH_3OH-H_2O(10∶20∶70) and ?=320 nm.The flow rate was 1.5 ml/min. RESULTS: The linearity was in the range of 0.0253-0.3542 ?g.The average recovery and RSD were 99.34% and 0.49%,respectively. CONCLUSION: The method is simple,precise and reproduciable and can be used for determination of 2,3,5,4′-tetrahydroxystilbene-?-O-?-D-glucoside in Radix polygoni multiflori preparata effectively.

Objective To observe the effect of herbal medicines with the function of replenish qi and essence for the immune func- tion of patients after mammary cancer operation.Methods The 115 patients of mammary cancer after modified radical operation were randomized into treatment group and control group.The treatment group began to take the decoction of herbal medicines from 7 days before and from the 3rd day after operation.The control group had the same treatment but without taking herbal medicines.The im- mune indices of both groups were tested on the day 7 days before,one day and 14 days after operation respectively.Results In the treatment group,IgA,IgG,IgM were remarkably increased in comparison with the control group 14 days after operation;with the herbal treatment for 2 weeks,CD_4,CD_4/CD_8,IL-2 rised remarkably(P

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of personality and psychosocial factors on irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).MethodsPersonality and psychological status of 46 IBS patients and 32 healthy individuals were evaluated with Eysenck Personality Questionaire (EPQ), Symptom Checklist-90 (SCL-90) and Life Events Scale (LES).ResultsIn EPQ, E (extroversion-introversion) scores of IBS group were lower than those of control group; N (neuroticism) scores of IBS group were significantly higher than those of control group (P<0.01). In SCL-90, the scores of somatization, compulsion, anxiety, depression and etc. were higher than those of control group (P<0.05). The frequency of meeting negative life events, the quantity of stimulus of meeting negative life events and the total quantity of stimulus of meeting life events of IBS patients within one year until episode were significantly higher than those of control group (P<0.01).ConclusionPersonality psychological characteristics and life events before illness are associated with the morbidity of IBS.

Objective To establish luciferase-labeled mesenchymal stem cells in vitro.Methods From May,2013 to January,2014,recombinant lentiviral vectors containing luciferase gene was transfected in to mesenchymal stem cell line C3H10T1/2.Puromycin was used to filter the cells.Western-blot and immunofluorescenceimaging were used to detect the transfection efficiency.Results Western blotting analysis showed that the size of this protein in cells expressing about 60KD.Showed that infected C3H10T1/2 cells expressing luciferase protein.I mmunofluorescence,compared with the uninfected control group,virus-infected cells group of about 100％ of the cells were positive for red fluorescence.Show that had built a good stable expression of luciferase C3H10T1/2 cells.Conclusion A monoclonal cell line stably and highly expressing luciferase is obtained with luciferase-labeled mesen chymal stem cells.

OBJECTIVE:To study the preparative methods of the long-circulating solid lipid nanoparticles(LSLN)carrying ginkgolides A and B(GAB)and to study the physicochemical characteristics of the GAB-LSLN.METHODS:GAB-LSLN was prepared by ultrasonication or high pressure homogenization.Transmission electron microscopy was employed to study its shape.Particle size,zeta potential,and entrapment efficiency of GAB-LSLN were determined,and its stability after storage under room temperature for 4 weeks was determined as well.RESULTS:The GAB-LSLN prepared by ultrasonication was platelet-shaped and irregular,and that prepared by high pressure homogenization was spherical and regular in shape.The particle diameters of GAB-L SLN prepared by ultrasonication and high pressure homogenization were(219.6?14.3)nm and(173.9?10.4)nm respectively(P0.05).CONCLUSION:High pressure homogenization is superior to ultrasonication in that the prepared GAB-LSLN has small particle size,high stability and high entrapment efficiency.

Objective To study the clinical efficacy of self-made Shengji ointment on wound healing of postoperative perianal abscess. Methods 80 hospitalized patients with simple low anal abscess after surgery were randomly divided into control group and treatment group according to random digital table method, 40 cases in each group.The self-made Shengji ointment was smeared perianally and covered with gauze in treatment group, and Mayinglong shexiang zhichuang ointments was smeared perianally and covered with gauze in control group.VAS pain score and the granulation tissue scoring criteria were used to evaluate the growth status of the granulation.Results The VAS score in two groups were lower on the 3rd, 7th and 15th day than that on the 1st day (P<0.05);the VAS score on 1st day of two groups had no statisticall significant difference, but the VAS score in the treatment group were significantly lower than that in control group on the 3rd, 7th and 15th day, respectively (P<0.05).Duration of pain in treatment group was significantly lower than that of control group (P<0.05).The granulation tissue score in two groups on the 3rd, 7th and 15th day were lower than that on the 1st day,respectively (P <0.05); the granulation tissue score on the 1st day of two groups had no statistically significant difference, but the granulation tissue score in treatment group on the 3rd, 7th and 15th day were significantly lower than that in control group, respectively(P <0.05). Conclusion Self-made Shengji ointment could significantly relive the pain in wound, and promote the growth of granulation tissue, which has better effect in the treatment of wound healing of postoperative perianal abscess than Mayinglong shexiang zhichuang ointments.
