Objective To explore a kind of biomedical signal pattern (BSP) with a new method called as state representation methodology (SRM ) .Methods Based on the heart sound signals ,ECG signals ,breathing ,as the important research problem for BSP description ,with some comparisons on several traditional methods ,in which support vector machines (SVM ) and response sur-face methodology (RSM ) etc .,using frequency slice wavelet transform (FSWT ) method to extract the BSP signal dynamic damping characteristics ,thus ,this paper proposes a new idea of SRM analysis .In the case of heart sound signal analysis ,the general steps of SRM evaluation method is given .Results In 40 cases of normal heart sounds SRM model is set up ,with 80 cases of abnormal heart sounds are compared ,the obvious differences of the SRM state distributions of the two groups are found .Conclusion The combi-nation of SRM with FSWT can provide a novel approach for BSP analysis ,and provide powerful development tool for the analysis of BSP .

Objective To investigate the changes of immune state and the impact on immunological rejection elicited by abdominal cavity bacterial infection after DA-Lewis rat liver transplantation. Methods Orthotopic liver transplant model was established by modified Kamada two-cuff technique. The animals were divided randomly into Group 1,isotonic Na chloride injected into abdominal cavity 3 days after operation;Group 2,mixed Bacillus coli liquid injected instead of saline;Group 3,immunosuppressive drug CsA administered routinely after operation(3 mg?kg-1?d-1).All the animals were sacrificed 7 days after infection. The blood and graft samples were collected for cell-subpopulation,mixed lymphocyte culture,IL-4,IFN-? mRNA detection and histological evaluation. Results Seven days after infection, the lympholeukocyte population,CD4/CD8(G1=1.753?0.181,G2=1.384?0.073,G3=0.997?0.025)and lympholeukocyte function(SI:G1=67.59?3.40,G2=37.14?0.90,G3=15.87?0.51)declined in Group 2 as compared with other groups and cellular differentiation drifted to Th2.There was significant difference between Group 2 and Group 1 or 3.Conclusion Abdominal cavity bacterial infection after rat liver transplantation will promote the differentiation of T cells into Th2,down-regulate CD4/CD8 ratio and immune function of lymphocytes and accordingly alleviate partly the acute rejection following liver transplantation.

Objective To observe effect of astragalus injection on levels of blood selenium,T cell immunity function and cytokines with viral myocarditis in children. Methods Fourty two patients with viral myocarditis in children, receiving the therapy of Astragalus injection Observing the levels of blood selenium and cytokine, including interleukin-1 (IL-1), IL-6, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-?),and including estimation of T lymphocyte subsets and cardiac function too. Results The result showed that in post-treatment, the levels of blood selenium were significantly higher (P

Objective To investigate the change of P300 of the attention - deficit/hyperactivity disorder children before and after they took litalin, according to this objective subject to guide the clinical treatment of ADHD children. Methods Using the looking se-ducible electricity stimulates 22 ADHD children, and check the change of latency and the rate of the wave before and after they took litalin. Results After ADHD children took litalin, their latency of P300 has decreased clearly, and the amplitude had no change. Conclusion The changes of P300 latency in ADHD children after they took litalin can be adopted as the guidelines of clinical treatment for the ADHD children.

Objective To establish a rat model of peritoneal bacterial infection after liver transplantation. Methods To construct a dark Agouti rat-to-Lewis(DA-to-LEW) rat model of liver transplantation.Peritoneal bacterial infection in the rats was induced by intraperitoneal injection of bacterial suspension. The liver function, blood gas, blood cell count and other indicators of the rat models were detected. Results There was a high mortality rate in rats with bacterial injection at day 5 after liver transplantation, therefore unfavorable for the following study. It waft better to inject the bacteria in an amount of 5×10~5 cfu/mL at day 3 after liver transplantation. The cumulative 7-day survival rate of those rats after infection reached up to 37.5%.The infection became increasingly severe, the general conditions were worsening, the rectal temperature was rising, the WBC count was increased, the pH was decreased, liver dysfunction was progressively increased, and metabolic acidosis occurred in the rats.Liver parenchymal damage was more pronounced than that of bile ductal injuries, and the rats died one after another at about 5 days after infection.Pathological examination of multiple organs showed that the main cause of death of the rats was liver damage, without accompanying lung and kidney damages. Conclusion The results of this study suggest that it is a successful method to establish a rat model of peritoneal bacterial infection after liver transplantation, and this model can be used in related experimental researches.

The informatization of traditional Chinese medicine resources is the basis of modern medicine. With a spatial attribute traditional Chinese medicine resources could be carried out for in-depth spatial analysis, data mining and traditional Chinese medicine resources regional industrial layout. In this paper, we took the data of Glycyrrhiza uralensis in the third national Chinese medicine resources survey as the experimental data, described the principles and structure of traditional Chinese medicine resources spatial information database. We also described the establishment of analysis model with the help of this spatial database.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the content determination of 1-phenyl-7-(3-methoxy-4-hydroxy) phe-nyl-5-ol-3-heptanone in active ingredients of Mongolian medicine compound shudage-4. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Intersil ODS-3 with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.5%phosphoric acid at the flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,the detection wavelength was 210 nm,temperature was 30 ℃,and the volume was 20 μl. RESULTS:The linear range of 1-phenyl-7-(3-me-thoxy-4-hydroxy) phenyl-5-ol-3-heptanone was 0.102-1.02 μg(r=0.999 9);RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were no more than 1.52%;average recovery was 97.10%(RSD=1.80%,n=6). CONCLUSIONS:The method is accurate,sim-ple and reproducible, and can provide basis for the quality control of Mongolian medicine compound shudage-4.

Objective To search for the changes of T cells subpopulations and immunoglobulin and their relation-ship in children patients with simple nephrotic syndrome. Design Case-control research. Patients aud Participants 39 patients with simple nephrotic syndrome were divided into two groups:the incipient group and relapse group (6 cases were determined at the incipient and relapse time) .Thereare 28 patients in incipient group, 19 males and 9 females, at the age of 2 to 10 years old. There are20 patients in relapse group, 12 males and 8 females, at the age of 3 to 13 years old. There are 35health children in control group, 21 males and 14 females, 2~13 years old. Interventions T cells subpopulations were determined by indirect immunofluorescence of OKT linesmonoclonal antibodies. The serum IgG was determined by routine simple agar immunodiffusion tests. Results and Conclusions The CD_3~+ and CD_4~+ cells are of no change in the children patients withsimple nephrotic syndrome, and the CD_8~+ and CD_(10)~+ cells are obviously increased, the Values of CD_4~+/CD_8~+ are obviously lower than those in the control qroup, there are no difference between the incipientand relapse groups. The levels of serum IgG were decreased in the 85.3% children patients, IgM were inc-reased in 29.4% of that. The values of CD_4~+/CD_8~+ have positive correlation and negative correlationwith the levels of serum IgG and IgM respectively.
