Objective To explore the effects of prenatal exposure to lead on learning and memory of rats' offspring. Methods The pregnant rats were randomly divided into 4 groups provided with double evaporated water, 50, 100 and 200 mg/L lead acetate solution via drinking water respectively. The lead-exposure period for exposure groups was limited from the 1st day after pregnancy to the 20th day when the offspring began to be weaned. For learning ability 20-day old offspring were tested by water maze. For active learning and memory ability, the 20-day old, 40-day old and 60-day old offspring were tested by Y maze. Results The frequency of the mistakes in water maze made by offspring increased with the increase of the prenatal lead-exposure doses of their mothers and showed significantly higher levels in 100 and 200 mg/L groups compared with that of control group (P0.05). But the qualified rates of 0-min and 24-h escape for 100 and 200 mg/L groups showed sigificantly lower levels compared with that of control group when they were 60-day old (P

Objective To evaluate the clinical features and key points in treatment of ovarian torsion in children. Methods The clinical data of 64 children with ovarian torsion, hospitalized in our hospital from January 2005 to October 2012, were analyzed retrospectively. The clinical manifestations in children of all ages were summarized. The anal examina-tion, B ultrasound examination, CT examination were used for the early diagnosis of ovarian torsion. All children were per-formed laparoscopic surgical exploration. All children were found the typical lower abdominal cramps. The B ultrasound and CT examination showed non-homogeneous mass in pelvic, which suggested the early diagnosis of ovarian torsion. The detec-tion rate of anal examination reached 70.3%(45/64). Results All patients were performed laparoscopic surgical explora-tion. Five patients were treated with ovariectomy. The rest were treated conservatively. The postoperative follow-up was good. Conclusion Ovarian torsion in children was likely to be misdiagnosed. Doppler, CT, anal examination and laparo-scopic operation were important for the early diagnosis and treatment of ovarian torsion.

Objective To discuss the diagnosis and treatment of acquired cystic kidney disease complicated by kidney cancer. Methods Clinical data of 11 patients with acquired cystic kidney disease complicated by kidney cancer were analyzed retrospectively. Eight patients were male and three were female. The mean age was 55 years old (range 37 to 68). The time of hemodialysis ranged from 2.8 to 7. 4 years, mean 4. 8 years. Results Follow-up ranged from 17- 83 months, mean 55 months. One patient died of cardiovascular disease. Lung metastasis was detected in one patient two years after surgery. Seven patients survived free of tumor recurrence and there was no follow-up on one patient. Conclusions Increased incidence of cancer was observed in patients with end-stage renal disease who have undergone long-term dialysis. In particular, renal cell carcinoma (RCC) showed an excess incidence in ACKD patients. RCC showed an increased prevalence compared with the general population. Patients with predialysis azotemia or a dialysis duration of longer than 3 years should be screened for ACKD. Sonegraphy or CT scanning are useful for early diagnosis of ACKD. We should pay close attention to complications, including ACKD malignant tendency, in patients who have been taking long-term dialysis and positive therapy.

The development of body donation remains relatively slow in China. One of its main influencing factors restricted to the development of donation is the anatomy teachers' quality.Lots of volunteers to donate and their families are not satisfied with it,which eventually leads to the failure of the donation. Therefore, enhancing anatomy teachers' quality has become one of the key steps in the donated work.It needs to improve the idea awareness of teachers,to standardize the behavior of teachers,to enhance the role models of teachers, and to carry out a regular humanities education and training to truly realize "people-oriented" goals.

Objective To isolate the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) from the GFP-expressing mouse, and to study the osteoblastic differentation of the cells. Methods MSCs were isolated by density gradient centrifugation, then the clutrued cells were induced to osteoblastic differentiation using the conditional medium. We detectd the expression of GFP and MSCs differentiation into osteoblasts by histochemistry and immunochemistry. Results The MSCs maintained the expression of GFP during expanded and induced process. After induced for 10 days, lots of alkaline phosphatase and osteoclcin staining positive cells were observed. Conclusion The MSCs of GFP-expressing mouse were successfully isolated and differentiated into ostoblasts. It may be valuable for tracing the seeding cells in tissue engineering bone.
