Objective: To study the chemical constituents in the whole herb of Coreopsis lanceolata and to investigate the antibacterial activity. Methods: The compounds in the whole herb of C. lanceolata were isolated and purified by column chromatography and identified based on spectral analyses (MS, NMR). The antibacterial activities of compounds 1-8 were screened. Results: Fifteen compounds including eight sesquiterpenes were isolated from the chloroform fraction in the whole herb of C. lanceolata and were identified as 1β, 5α-diangeloyloxy-eudesm-(15)-ene (1), 1β, 6α-dihydroxyeudesm-4(15)-ene (2), 10α-hydroxyoplopan-4-one (3), (7R*)-opposit-4(15)-ene-1β, 7-diol (4), (7R*)-opposit-4(15)-ene-1β, 8-diol (5), (7R*)-opposit-4(15)-ene-1β, 11-diol (6), (7R*)-opposit-4(15)-ene-1β, 7α-diol (7), 4(15)-eudesmene-1β, 7α-diol (8), p-hydroxy cinamic acid (9), 3-methoxy4-hydroxy-benzoic acid (10), methyl-p-hydroxybenzoate (11), 3, 4-dihydroxy-benzaldehyde (12), β-sitosterol (13), friedeline (14), and friedelinol (15). Conclusion: Compounds 1-15 are obtained from the whole herb of C. lanceolata for the first time. The bioassays show that the compounds 3 and 4 have the stronger inhibition against Staphylococcus aureus.

Electric and electronic products are required to pass through the certification on electrical safety performance before entering into the market in order to reduce electrical shock and electrical fire so as to protect the safety of people and property. The leakage current is the most important factor in testing the electrical safety performance and the test theory is based on the perception current effect and threshold. The traditional method testing the current threshold for perception only depends on the sensing of the human body and is affected by psychological factors. Some authors filter the effect of subjective sensation by using physiological and psychological statistical algorithm in recent years and the reliability and consistency of the experiment data are improved. We established an experiment system of testing the human hody's current threshold for perception based on EEG feature analysis, and obtained 967 groups of data. We used wavelet packet analysis to detect a wave from EEG, and used FFT to do spectral analysis on alpha wave before and after the current flew through the human body. The study has shown that about 97.72% alpha wave energy changes significantly when electrical stimulation occurs. It is well proved that when the EEG feature identification is applied to test the human body current threshold for perception, and meanwhile alpha wave energy change and human body sensing are used together to confirm if the current flowing through the human body reaches the perception threshold, the measurement of the human body current threshold for perception could be carried out objectively and accurately.

Objective To evaluate the application of pure brilliance imaging(PB1) in diagnosis of benign and malignant breast neoplasms. Methods Ninty-seven breast neoplasms were respectively examined by high frequency ultrasound and PBI before operation,then correlated with pathological results. Results The accuracy of high frequency ultrasound for breast neoplasms was 73.2% with the sensitivity 77.8% ,specificity 69.2%. The detectable rate of spiculate margin, halo,calcification were much higher in PBI than those in high frequency ultrasound(P<0.05). And the accuracy,sensitivity and specificity of PBI were 86.6%, 91.1%, 82.6%. Conclusions PBI can significantly increase the detectable rate of ultrasonographie marginal features of breast neoplasms which were also helpful to the differential diagnosis.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the feasibility of using percutaneous K-wires fixation after manipulative reduction combining with gypsum or splint fixation for treatment of the Barton fracture of aged people.

METHODSFrom June 2011 to May 2013, 91 patients with closed and fresh Barton fracture were analyzed retrospectively which information was complete. According to different methods these patients were divided into three groups: 33 patients in group A were treated by simplex fixation of gypsum or splint after manipulative reduction, including 20 males and 13 females with an average age of (63.27 ± 5.83) years old; 35 patients in group B were treated by percutaneous K-wires fixation after manipulative reduction combining with gypsum or splint fixation, including 23 males and 12 females with an average age of (64.25 ± 4.53) years old; 23 patients in group C were treated by open reduction and internal fixation including 15 males and 8 females with an average age of (64.04 ± 4.83) years old.

RESULTSAll the patients were followed up for 10 to 16 months with an average of 12 months by the method of recheckging in outpatient clinic. According Dienst scoring system: in group A, the result was excellent in 15 cases, good in 7 cases, fair in 11 cases; in group B, excellent in 25 cases, good in 6 cases, fair in 4 cases; in group C, excellent in 16 cases, good in 5 cases, fair in 2 cases. The excellent and good rate of group C was better than that of group B and A, further more group B is better than group A. According to X- ray standard, in group A, 26 patients were acceptable, 7 patients were unacceptable; in group B,28 patients were acceptable, 7 patients were uacceptable; in group C, 19 patients were acceptable,4 patients were unacceptable; there were no statistical significant difference (P > 0.05). There were 18 patients with emerging recrispation in group A, 10 patients in group B, 6 patients in group C, the result of group B and C was better than that of group A, and there was no statistically significant between group B and C (P > 0.05).

CONCLUSIONUsing percutaneous K-wires fixation after manipulative reduction combining with gypsum or splint fixation for treatment of the Barton fracture of aged people is an effective method, it has advantages of micro-invasived, reliable fixation, less complication, not need to fix wrist joint and early functional exercise.

ObjectiveTo analyze the genotype and variation ofMycoplasma pneumonia (MP) strains isolated from chil-dren with MP infection in Soochow area.MethodsThe nasopharyngeal secretions from hospitalized children with MP infection were collected during January 2012 and December 2013. The nested-multiplex PCR based on MPP1 gene was performed to detect the subtype ofMP gene.ResultsIn 313 samples, 304 (97.12 %) samples were classiifed as P1-I type and 8 (2.56%) sam-ples were classiifed as P1-II type and one (0.32%) was V2 variant. Gene sequencing results were consistent with nested-multiple PCR results.ConclusionsNested-multiplex PCR is a reliable method for genotyping of MPP1 gene. During the study period, P1-I type was the common genotype and only one case of V2 variant was found.

Objective To investigate the correlations between the clinical manifestations based on pathologic grades and renal pathological features of Henoch - Schonlein purpura nephritis(HSPN)in children. Methods The clinical data of 77 patients with HSPN in the Department of Nephrology,Anhui Provincial Children's Hospital from Ja-nuary 2004 to March 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. The relationship between clinical manifestation and pathologi-cal features was analyzed. Results Among the 77 patients,21 cases(27. 3% )had both abdominal symptoms,and ar-thritis was reported in 15 cases(19. 5% ),28 cases(36. 4% )had abdominal symptoms and arthritis,and 13 cases (16. 9% )had no such symptoms. Hematuria and proteinuria were the most common clinical types[48. 1%(37 / 77 ca-ses)],followed by simple hematuria or proteinuria[27. 3%(21 / 77 cases)],nephrotic syndrome[23. 4%(18 / 77 ca-ses)],and chronic nephritis[1. 3%(1 / 77 cases)]. The major of pathological changes in HSPN were grade Ⅱ[46. 8%(36 / 77 cases)]and grade Ⅲ[45. 5%(35 / 77 cases)],the minority of them were grade Ⅰ[6. 5%(5 / 77 cases)]and grade Ⅳ[1. 3%(1 / 77 cases)]. Among the different types of immune complex depositions,there was no statistically significant difference in pathological types of distribution,while the clinical type and complements C3 deposition were significantly associated with pathologic classifi-cation(rs = 0. 361,P = 0. 001). Sixty - two cases were rated as level 1(80. 5% ),and 15 cases was level 2(19. 5% );in different clinical group,rating in glomeruli was statistically different(χ2 = 17. 2,P = 0. 004). Renal tubular interstitial rating of all the patients were level 1(100% ). Conclusions The severity of urine protein,complements C3 deposition is associated with pathologic classification. Pathologic classification can basically reflect the renal damage in HSPN.

Objective To compare the efficacy of transrectal ultrasonography(TRUS)and spiral computed tomography(SCT)in preoperative staging of rectal carcinoma contrasted with the postoperative pathologic findings.Methods Both TRUS and SCT were performed prior to surgery in 92 patients with rectal carcinoma.After radical operation,the preoperative findings were compared with the histological findings,and the the efficacy of TRUS and SCT in staging the rectal carcinoma were evaluated.Results The accuracy of TRUS for T stage and N stage was 87.0% and 64.1% respectively,while the accuracy of SCT was 68.5% and 66.3%.Conclusions TRUS is superior to SCT for the judgment of tumor infiltration depth,TRUS may become the first choice in preoperative staging of rectal carcinoma.But neither is able to provide satisfaction assessment for lymph node metastases.When both methods are used together,it would be better.
