[Objective]To study the possibility of differentiation of rabbit marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)into endothelial cells in vitro.[Method]BMSCs of rabbits were obtained by using gradient centrifuge method.The adhesive cells were preserved to passage culture to get pure MSCs.MSCs in the second generation were used.After induction with vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),microscopic exarm,cytoimmunofluorescent staining confirmd the trial group cells becomes to endothelial cells.W-P corpuscles which was the symbol of endothelial cells were observed by transmission electron microscope.[Result]The differentiated cells demonstrated the characters of endothelial cells under phase contrast microscopy.The cytoimmunofluore-scent staining showed that the trial group cells were induced to endothelial cells.W-P corpuscles could be seen under transmission electron microscope.[Conclusion]The adult rabbit BMSCs can present features of endothelial cells in certain induction medium,they are ideal donor cells of tissue engineering vascularization.

Objective To know a kind of method to prevent contamination of water system in department of stomatology. Methods Divided 120 patients with dental diseases into the control group and the observation group randomly, there were 60 cases in each group. Replace the holding tank of wa-ter and distilled water per 24 hours was used in the control group, while the method of replace the hold-ing tank of water and distilled water for each person was used in the observation group, and then com-pared the contamination condition of water system between the two groups. Results The percent of pass of water system in the observaiton group was 100%, which significant higher than the 68.33% in the control group. Conclusions Replace the holding tank of water and distilled water for each person is a kind of method to avoid contamination of water system in department of stomatology.

OBJECTIVE: To studies on the stability of glucosamine-?-aminoacids-nickel(Ⅱ) ternary complexes(GANTC). METHODS: The formation constant of GANTC were determined at (25?0.1) ℃,I=0.1 mol?L-1 KNO3 by pH method. RESULTS: The formation constant of GANTC were Gly 13.73(7.33),Pro 13.97(7.12),Ser 13.15(7.07),Val 13.46(6.84),iLe 13.55(6.88),Phe 13.13(6.93) and Met 13.17(7.18). CONCLUSIONS: The two biologically active ligand,?-aminoacid and glucosamine accommodate each other when coordinated to nickel(Ⅱ) ion. The formation constant of the ternary complexes linearly increase with the increase of protonation constant of aminoacid. Linear free energy relationship does exist in the presence of ternary system.

Objective:To compare the content of polydatin and emodin between polygonum cuspidatum pieces and dispensing gran-ules to provide theoretical basis for the improvement of preparation process of the granules. Methods:An HPLC method with linear gra-dient elution was used to determine the content of polydatin and emodin in the pieces and dispensing granules, and the difference in the two contents was compared. Results: The content of polydatin and emodin in polygonum cuspidatum pieces met the requirement de-scribed in China pharmacopoeia, which was lower than that in the dispensing granules, and the contents of the two components in the commercial dispensing granules were not equivalent to the labeled amount, which was 1/15 and 1/27 of that in the pieces. Conclu-sion:The transport rate of the traditional preparation process of dispensing granules is with poor efficiency, which should be improved.

Objective To investigate the expressions and clinical significances of Runt-domain-related 3 (Runx3) and chromodomain helicase DNA-binding protein 5 (CHD5) in colorectal cancer.Methods Ninety-six colorectal cancer tissue samples and matched adjacent normal tissues and 72 colorectal adenoma tissues were collected.Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and Western blotting were used to detect the mRNA and protein expression of Runx3 and CHD5.The associations of Runx3 and CHD5 expression with clinical pathological characteristics,diagnostic value and prognosis relationship of patients were further analyzed.Results Runx3 and CHD5 relative expressions of mRNA and protein were 0.35 ± 0.00,0.28 ± 0.02 and 0.26 ± 0.02,0.31 ± 0.01,which were significantly lower than those in the matched adjacent tissues 0.95 ± 0.02,0.92 ± 0.02 and 0.89 ± 0.03,0.93 ± 0.02 (t =2.36,P ＜ 0.05;t =1.25,P ＜ 0.05;t =1.37,P ＜ 0.05;t =1.13,P ＜ 0.05) and colorectal adenoma tissues 0.89 ± 0.02,0.90 ± 0.02 and 0.85±0.02,0.87±0.04 (t=2.27,P＜0.05;t=2.16,P＜0.05;t=1.25,P＜0.05;t=2.65,P＜0.05).Runx3 and CHD5 expressions differed significantly between tumors with different TNM stages (x2 =4.65,P =0.031;x2 =7.89,P =0.005),depths of tumor invasion (x2 =4.17,P =0.041;x2 =4.86,P =0.028),lymph node statuses (x2 =4.20,P =0.040;x2 =7.02,P =0.008),or histological differentiation (x2 =7.31 P =0.036;x2 =9.54,P =0.023).Linear correlation analysis showed that the expressions of the two genes were positively correlated (r =0.572,P =0.001).Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve showed that Runx3 and CHD5 had diagnostic value (AUC were 0.712,0.745;sensitivity and specificity were 45.9％,52.5％ and 83.6％,81.4％ respectively).Runx3 and CHD5 both low expression group compared with the other patient groups in overall survival time (x2 =8.156,P ＜ O.05) and progression-free survival (x2 =6.325,P ＜ 0.05) had statistically significant differences.Conclusion Runx3 and CHD5 are low expressed in colorectal cancer and may prove useful as biomarkers for diagnosis target and prognostic indication in patients with colorectal cancer.

Objective To evaluate the clinical features,diagnostic methods and treatment of venous thromboembolic disease (VTE) during pregnancy.Methods From June 2006 to June 2011,a total of 20 pregnant women were diagnosed VTE at the Department of Obsterics and Gynaecology,Qilu Hospital of Shandong University.Clinical data of these patients were analyzed retrospectively.Results (1) Characteristics of patients:the symptoms of all the 20 patients commenced in pregnancy.Of these,6 (30％) happened in the first trimester,7 (35％) in the second trimester,and 7 (35％) in the third trimester.Twelve (60％) patients went to hospital in one week after they had symptoms,while 8(40％ ) went to hospital after one week.(2)Clinical manifestation:18 patients were diagnosed deep venous thrombosis (DVT),one was diagnosed pulmonary embolism (PE).One patient was diagnosed DVT and PE simultaneously.Among the 19 DVT patients,16 (16/19)were on the left side,3 (3/19)were on the other.They all came with sudden swelling and pain of the affected lower extremity.In 17(17/19) patients,the circumference differences between two legs were beyond (4.0 ±0.5) cm.In all the 20 patients,12 (60％) had elevated plasma level of D-dimmer.The diagnosis of DVT was made mainly by a Doppler ultrasound.Among the 19 DVT events,7 (7/19) were proximal DVT,2 (2/19) were distal,and 10( 10/ 19) were mixed type.(3)Anticoagulant therapy:patients with VTE during pregnancy were treated with low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) (enoxaparin,once 1 mg/kg subcutaneous,twice a day).After delivery,patients were treated with subcutaneous LMWH and warfarin simultaneously for at least 5 days,until the prothrombin time-international normalized ratio ( PT-INR ) was ＞ 2.0 for 24 hours.( 4 ) Thrombolytic therapy:for most patients with VTE,we are against the routine use of thrombolytic therapy,especially before delivery.For patients with acute massive PE,urokinase of 600 000 units intravenously daily was recommended for 3 days.For those patients with DVT whose standard anticoagulation therapy was ＜ 30 days,an inferior vena cava filter(IVCF) placement was recommended before delivery or abortion.If it was ≥30 days,IVCF was not recommended as a routine,and anticoagulant therapy was used 24 hours after delivery.If there was no recurrent DVT or PE,IVCF was retrieved routinely in 12 days.(5)Outcome:among patients treated with LMWH (95％,19/20).Three received IVCF placement,which was retrieved successfully in 12 days,with no interventional complication.All patients recovered well after 2 weeks,and the circumference differences between two legs were within (2.0 ± 0.3 ) cm.Of the 18 patients maintained to the third trimester,17 received anticoagulant therapy,and no abnormal findings were found during antenatal examination.Ten patients received cesarean section (50％,10/20),while 8 had vaginal delivery (40％,8/ 20).Neither neonatal asphyxia nor malformation was observed.The patients were followed-up for 1 - 24 months,no venous thrombus extension was found in 17 cases by Doppler ultrasound,thrombus disappeared in 2 cases of distal DVT after 4 weeks and 8 weeks respectively.By echocardiography,the pulmonary arterial pressure of the 2 patients with PE was found normal 3 months after hospital discharge.There was no maternal death during the study,no recurrent PE or bleeding occured.Conclusions LMWH is safe and effective for VTE during pregnancy.Routine use of thrombolytic therapy is not recommended.VTE in pregnancy is not the absolute indication of termination of pregnancy.The indication of an IVCF placement should be stricter,and a retrievable suprarenal IVCF is recommended under certain circumstances.

Urinary incontinence in the elderly is a multifactorial geriatric syndrome with a high prevalence and low rates of diagnosis and treatment.Evaluation of urinary incontinence is the basis for treatment of elderly patients with urinary incontinence and includes risk factors,medical history,physical examinations and supplementary examinations.Treatment of urinary incontinence in the elderly should follow the principles of noninvasive treatment before invasive treatment and behavioral and physical therapy before drug therapy.Behavioral therapy mainly includes lifestyle intervention,bladder training,and pelvic floor muscle training.Physical therapy includes electrical and magnetic stimulation.When the effect of behavioral therapy combined with physical therapy is poor,drug treatment can be added.

The Chinese herbal compound formula preparation,which is guided by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theories,and based on long-term clinical application,has its unique value.The multi-compound and multi-target characteristics are also features of Chinese materia medica (CMM).The finding and exploration of innovation CMM in modern times should be based on TCM theory and clinical application,as well as the combination of efficacy in the concept of holism and biomedical technology.Key issue in the research,development and evaluation of innovation Chinese medicine is to use to the methodology to illustrate the scientific meaning in according to the clinical application characteristics of Chinese herbal compound formula preparation.During the research and development process,considerations on CMM characteristics should be taken from research evidence,to pharmacodynamics and toxicology studies.Pharmacodynamics researches should reflect the properties of TCM syndrome.Aspects,such as research and application of TCM syndrome model,correspondence between disease and syndrome model,research method of correspondence between syndrome and prescription,identification of biological markers corresponding to CMM pharmacologic effect,are important.So we should catch up the historical chance for TCM development,speedily develop the advantage areas,and promote the modernization and innovation of TCM.
