China Pharmacist 2014;(5):810-812
Objective:To investigate the effect and safety of Jinweitai combined with triple therapy in the treatment of gastric ul-cer. Methods:Totally 140 cases of gastric ulcer patients were randomly divided into two groups, group A was given clarithromycin, amoxicillin, bismuth pectin and pantoprazole in Hp eradication triple therapy, while group B was additionally given 0. 3g Jinweitai oral-ly, po,tid. The treatment course was 8 weeks. The effect was observed and compared. Results:Both the total effective rate and Hp e-radication rate of group B were higher than those of group A, the rate of mild inflammation and non-neutrophils infiltration after the treatment in group B were higher than those in group A (P<0. 05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was without statistical significance (P>0. 05). Conclusion:Base on the conventional Hp eradication triple therapy, Jinweitai can increase Hp e-radication rate and promote inflammation eliminate without extra adverse reactions in the treatment of gastric ulcer.

6. Correlation study of CXCL16 gene rs3744700 polymorphisms and cerebral infarction subtypes
Chinese Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2012;9(6):291-296
Objective: To study the correlation between the serum chemokine CXC Ligand 16 (CXCL16) levels or the CXCL16 gene rs3744700 polymorphisms and TOAST subtypes in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods: A total of 248 patients with atherosclerotic cerebral infarction within 7 days after symptom onset were selected, among them 149 patients were in a large artery atherosclerotic (LAA) cerebral infarction group, and 99 patients were in a small arterial occlusive (SAO) cerebral infarction group. The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and gene sequencing were used to detect the genotypes. An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect the serum CXCL16 levels. Results: Circled digit oneSerum CXCL16 level in the LAA cerebral infarction group was 2.5 ± 0.3 μm/L and in the SAO cerebral infarction group were 2.3 ± 0.6 μg/L (P<0.01). Circled digit twoAmong the 149 patients in the LAA cerebral infarction group, the GG genotype frequency at polymorphic loci of CXCL16 gene rs3744700 was 91.9% (137/149) and the G allele frequency was 96.0% (286/298). They were higher than 81.8% and 89.9% in the SAO cerebral infarction group. There were significant differences (P < 0.05). Circled digit threeThe serum CXCL16 level in patients with CG genotype was 2.5 ± 0.3 μg/L in the LAA cerebral infarction group, ant it was higher than 2.1 ± 0.3 μg/L in patients with GT + TT genotype; the serum CXCL16 level in patients with CG genotype was 2.4 ± 0.6 μg/L in the SAO cerebral infarction group, and it was higher than 2.1 ± 0.3 μg/L in patients with GT + TT 2 genotype (all P < 0.01). Among the patients with GG genotype, the serum CXCL16 level in the LAA cerebral infarction group was higher than that in the SAO cerebral infarction group (P = 0.01); there was no significant difference in patients with GT + TT genotype between both groups. Circled digit fourMultivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the serum CXCL16 level (OR =0.37, 95% CI 0.19 -0.70) and the GG genotype at polymorphic loci of CXCL16 gene rs3744700 (OR =2.57, 95% CI 1.23 -5.36) were the independent risk factors for affecting LAA cerebral infarction. Conclusion: In the TOAST subtypes, the correlation of serum CXCL16 level and the GG genotype at polymorphic loci of CXCL16 gene rs3744700 and LAA cerebral infarction are higher than SAO cerebral infarction.
7.Effect of hyperbric oxygen on infarct volume and matrix metalloproteinase after permanent focal cerebral ischemia in adult rats
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2004;10(12):726-728
ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of hyperbric oxygen (HBO) on infarct volume and relevant mechanism after permanent focal cerebral ischemia in adult rats.MethodsRat model of focal cerebral ischemia induced by intraluminal filament occlusion of middle cerebral artery (MCA) was used. HBO(2.0 ATA) was applied to HBO group. Infarct volume, matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP-2) and MMP-9 were detected at 6h, 24h, 48h, 72h,120h and 10d after ischemia.ResultsThe infarct volume obviously decreased at 120h and 10d and expression of MMP-9 lowered at 48—120h in HBO groups. There was no significant change in MMP-2.Conclusion HBO can reduce infarct volume after cerebral ischemia, which may be related to downregulation of MMP-9 levels.

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2015;24(10):874-877
Objective To develop a new methodology of prenatal sonography scoring to assess and dignose clubfoot. Methods Thirty-one fetuses suspected clubfoot(50 foots) and 62 normal fetuses(124 foots) were scanned with both 2D and 3D sonography, and were divided into normal feet group and clubfeet group. Our scoring system was made according to the Pirani-scoring for children, while considering the morphology of mid-foot and hind-foot of infants. The doctors would give final diagnosis for all fetuses after delivery or induced labor, and analyse the correlations among the abnormal signs, sonographic score and the clinical outcomes. Results The curve lat border, the medial crease, the empty heel and the post crease can be observed in the 3D reconstruction images. These four abnormal signs had close correlations with the clinical results. Conclusions The new prenatal clubfeet scoring system by 3D sonography is a promising methodology with clinical values.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2005;9(4):213-215
BACKGROUND:No particularly effective medicine could treat human immunodeficiency virus 1(HIV 1) associated dementia(HAD) at present, which mainly because the mechanism of HIV 1 infection induced neural damage and necrosis is still not completely clarified. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of human immunodeficiency virus I type(HIV 1) enveloped protein(EP) gp120 on the synaptic transmission and plasticity in hippocampal CA1 area of rat to clarify the mechanism of HAD generation. DESIGN:A paired design. SETTING:Department of Pathophysiology of Medical College of Jinan University. MATERIALS:The study was conducted in the Department of Pathophysiology(a tertiary national key laboratory of National Administration for Traditional Chinese Medicine, registration number: TCM 03 131) of the Medical College of Jinan University from January to October of 2003.Male SD rats aged between 2 and 5 weeks were used in the study. INTERVENTIONS:Brain slice perfusion and recording technique was employed. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:To record the excitatory postsynaptic potential(EPSP) in hippocampal CA1 area in rat;to investigate the effects of gp120 on long term potentiation(LTP) induced by high frequency electric stimulation in Schaffer lateral branch. RESULTS:gp120 had inhibitive effect on LTP in hippocampal CA1 area in rat [the average amplitude of LTP decreased from normal (216.1± 14.0) % to(90.8± 6.0) % ,n=12,P< 0.01],but had no effect on basic EPSP.PKA/PKC protein kinase(PK) inhibitor H7 could reverse this inhibitive effect [the average amplitude of LTP was(198.8± 16.2) % ,n=8,P< 0.01]. CONCLUSION:gp120 might participate the generation of HAD through inhibiting LTP in hippocampal CA1 area.
