1.The study on risk factors related to traffic accident subjects admitted to ThaiNguyen general hospital

Concerning all cases of traffic accidents admitted into Thai Nguyen General Hospital in 1992-1995 year period. The survey showed that there was a strictly linear positive correlation between the increasing high number of motor vehicles and the increase of traffic accidents. Traffic road at low quality lacking of proper maintainance and the low speed of reconstruction and reform did not met the needs. The peak of traffic accident occurred in February, May, November and December.

2.The factual status of heavy mental toxicoly contamined and its effects to reproductivity health of married women at the aged between 15 and 49 years old at Thai Nguyen Color Mental Company's surrounding areas

The study was carried out on blood sample from married women aged 15-49 years old living above the well water source near by color metallurgic fabrik. Lead concentration in waste drained was many folds higher than permissible standard. Lead and arsemic concentrattion in the blood of studied women was higher singnificantly with p<0,05 and p < 0,001 respectively than control blood sample of subjects living in the areas without population. There was a strictly positive relation betweem the resident duration of the subject and blood concentration of poisonous metal in the blood. High blood concentration of the lead was associated with abortion and gynecolo gical diseases.

3.Some factors related to traffic accidents in motorcycled drivers who were admitted to ThaiNguyen general hospital in the year 199956

145 motorists who experienced traffic accident were admitted to Thai Nguyen General Hospital. Investigation showed that: the peak hours at 12-16 hour and 18-21 hours, and the main victims were riding on large size motor. Accidents were mostly occurred in straight road, narrow and out-of-the way roads, crowded place with many primitive means of transport in the road. Motoris victim was usually tired, fully strained, feeling sleepy, with high blood concentration of alcohol and beer (37.2% - 48.9%). The most frequent trauma was at the face and neck areas, skull brain trauma.
