1.The extrapolation method in dosage is equivalent in effectiveness between man and experimental animals
Pharmaceutical Journal 1999;282(10):7-9
Introduction on the factors influence dosage that is equivalent in effectiveness between animals. They comprised drug metabolism, minimum concentration have with effect in serum, the effective time, cellular respiration, organic weight rate comparison with body weight, heat production, cytochrom C, volume of kidney and body surface.

Pharmaceutical Journal 2001;298(2):2-3
Section II: changing “anti-temperature” to “anti-pyritic”; 1. analgesic agents with opide containing 2. analgesic agent without opide containing; Section III. The antiallergenic drugs and drugs for hypersensitivity should be changed to the antiallergenic and anti- hypersensitivity agents. Section IV. 3.Study on the roborant effect of drug by swimming test in the experimental animal
Pharmaceutical Journal 1999;274(2):7-9
A study on the roborant effect of drug by swimming test in the experimental rat or mice was carried out. The swimming time calculated from standing swimming until rat was exhausted that can not swim. There were 2 method of calculation, including average swimming time and second swimming time comparing with the first swimming time.

4.The tests of acute toxicity
Pharmaceutical Journal 1999;282(10):3-4
There are some inapropriate problems: 1. The number of mice according to method from 30-100; 2. The weight of mice is 16-22g but most common is 19+/-1g(45 days);3. If oral dosage: 0.2 ml/10 g mice, if body weight:19+/- 1 g: the same dose of 0.4-0.5 ml/mice; 4. As calculating method of Behrens, the number of mice can provide LD 50 with small adds; 5. Safe maximal dose; 6. The mice is monitored mainly during first 24 hours. The monitoring time may be 36-48 hours; 7. The morphological, frequency and amplitude change of all waves in electrocardiogram and encephalogram should be nomitored.

5.Particular situation when using Microsoft Excel software in biological statistics (Continued)
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;353(9):4-6
Counting the average number and standard error or standard deviation by popular method of 3 groups also leads to correct results as using Microsoft Excel software. When using Summary Statistics in Descriptive Statistics, we have average value, standard error, standard deviation and other results, in which there was a sample variance. If 2 variances of 2 samples were the similar, t test has been used. Thus, using Microsoft Excel software, we’ll have specific p value. From that, we could infer the greater or smaller results

6.Studies on extraction and in vitro anti-urolithic effect of the prescription ngu linh gia vi
Journal of Medicinal Materials - Hanoi 2003;8(2):76-81
Dried powder extraction: Among the components of the traditional oriental prescription “Ngu linh gia vi”, rhizoma Atractylodis macrocephalae, Polia, Polyporus, rhizoma Alismatis and cortex Cinnamomi were extracted with ethanol 80%; the others were extracted with boiled water. All the extracts were mixed with rhizoma Dioscoreae persimilis powder, then dried in vacuum. The total yield of the dried extract was 7.7% compared with the plant materials. Anti-urolithic effect: In vitro studies showed that the percentages of worn stones were respectively 0.92% (control group), 18.94% (low dose of dried extract group), and 19.97% (high dose of dried extract group).

7.Particular situation when using Microsoft-Excel in biological statistics
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(7):2-4
Calculating mean number and standard error or standard deviation by normal calculation method has the correct result as using Microsoft – Excel. Applying Summary Statistics in Descriptive Statistics, we get mean number, standard error, standard deviation and many other results including Sample Variance. If two variances of two samples are the same, we use T- test method. Therefore, we have concrete value of p, which can be use to identify higher or lower expressed value

8.Method for determination of the effective dose ED50
Pharmaceutical Journal 2004;34(11):2-4
There are 4 principle of determination of ED50, the dose effective on 50% of experimental animals. Animals had been distributed into various analogue for diverse doses of studied substance. The evaluation will be carried according to the principle of "yes/no". For 1st example: To determine ED50 concerning the anti-fibrillation effect of venous infective propranolol on BaCl2 included heart fibrillation experimental model of rabbit.Result showed an efficacious dose of ED50 = 1,97mg/kg. For 2nd example: to determine ED50 concerning the hypoglycemic effect of glibenclamid on alloxan included hyperglycemic experimental model on white rat. Result showed on efficacious dose of ED50 = 6,02mg/kg

9.Particular situattion when using Microsoft-Excel in biological statistic
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;354(10):3-4
The way of counting average number and standard error or standard deviation by normal count method on all three lots showed the same results like as Microsoft - Excel. Application of Summary Statistics in Descriptive Statistics showed average value, standard error, standard deviation and many other results in which there are sample variance. If two variances of two samples are the same, T proof method is used. Like this, use of Microsoft Excel showed concrete numeric value of p

10.Homeopathy therapy
Pharmaceutical Journal 2000;269(12):22-22
A very low dose of treatment called homeopathy therapy. The scientific basis of applying the homeopathy therapy is symptoms of toxic dose of drug. For example, strychos at toxic dose induces gastro intestinal irritation, nervous system stimulation; Iris versicolor induces joint pain, gastrointestinal irritation and migraine. The homeopathy therapy had been most applied in Europe in 18th century
