We experience coronary artery aneurysm and coronary artery stenosis in an adult as complications of Kawasaki disease. The patient suffered from ischemic heart disease due to coronary artery aneurysm and stenosis, We carried out PTCA and stenting at stenotic coronary artery successfully. A brief review of related literature was made.

Acromioclavicular joint injuries are frequently seen with the recent increase of traffic and industrial accidents. The treatment of complete separation of the acromioclavicular joint has been, and is still, a subject of controversy. In view of a recent trend, anatomical reduction of acromioclavicular joint, and rigid internal fixation method is preferable, especially in type 3 injury. We operated on 16 cases of complete acromioclavicular separation by the technique of coracoclavicular wiring from March 1983 to Feb. 1987. The following results were obtained. 1. The functional results were excellent; 12 cases(75%), good; 3 cases(19a%), and fair ; 1 cases(6%). 2. The complications include wire reakage ; 1 case(6%), bony erosion ; 3 cases(19%) and subluxation, 1 case(6%). 3. The advantages of coracoclavicular wiring. 1) Avoids violation of acromioclavicular joint but does not restrict rotation of the clavicle. 2) The operation is simple to perform. 3) Postoperative immobilization is minimal. 4) Removal of the wire is easy under local anesthesia. 5) This method corresponds to the coracoclavicular ligment biomechanically. Therefore, coracoclavicular wiring is thought to be a good operative method in the treatment of complete acromioclavicular separation.

Gaucher's disease is an uncommon metabolic disorder, which was first described by Gaucher in 1882, characterized by accumulation of distinctive Gaucher's cells in the reticuloendothelial system such as spleen, liver, and bone marrow. The great majority of cases have been reported in Jews, and others in negros and orientals. We are presenting two cases in homozygous twins in Korea, whose clinical manifestations are hepatosplenomegaly and bone lesions due to expansion of involved bones.

We report a case of congenital candidiasis confined to the rail plates in a 57-day-old girl whose infected nails exhibited the rough, yellow-white, thickened, opaque distal ends and pink-colored, normal healthy plates at their proximal bases. Numerous pseudohyphae and spores were demonstrated by KOH microscopic examination. Candida albicans was identified by culture on Sabourauds glucose agar and API 20C Aux system. Histopathologic findings of nail crippings also showed mutiple hyphae beneath the hyperkeratot,ic nail plate on PAS stain. Shedding of the infected distal portion of the ungual plates ws caused by growing out of the healthy nails, resulting in spontaneous healing of the disease rithin 2 months.

We report a case of 17-year-old female with juvenile onset systemic lupus erythematosus Who developed symptomatic unilateral sacroiliitis. She had neither HLA-DR3 nir B27 antigens. Though sacroiliitis have been reported in mail SLE patient. it has been rarely reported in female patients. The rare coexistence of SLE and sacroiliitis. described in this case. may not be determined soley by genetic factors; sacroiliitis may be just an infrequent manifestation of SLE.

Addisons disease is the defieient production of glucocorticoid or mireralocorticoid or both, due to the destruction of the adrenal cor tex. We report a case of Addiaons disesse in a 26-year-old male who complained only of skin and oral mucosal hyperpigmentations without other constitutional symptorns, Physical examinations showed scanty pubic and axillary hsirs. On adrenocorticoid funtion study, the ACTH stimulstion test failed to rise the bassl plasme cortisol level and basal ACTH level was marked elevated st PM 6:00. Routine laboratory and other endocrinologic evaluations exhibited within normal limits. Radiologic findings showed negative on both cheet X-ray and abdominal MRI films. Gradisl disapperance of skin snd mucosal hyperpigmentation were noted following administration of phosiologic dose of corticosteriods. Almost normal appearance was obtaineg after 26 months treatment.
