Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2018;42(4):244-245
The disposable photophobic infusion was used to simulate clinical infusion under different conditions. The simulated liquid was collected every 30 min (total 4 h),and detected the additives (Fe, MDA and antioxidant 1076) in simulated liquid by spectroscopic method and chromatography method. The method is simple and stable, and can be used for the technical monitoring of the disposable photophobic infusion set in the future.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2010;34(3):204-208
An auto-retractable self-disable safety syringe is introduced. The product mainly consists of barrel, plunger hander, needle holder, spring and needle cap. After injection, the clasp on top of plunger hander will be jammed with the outshoot of needle holder, meanwhile, the plunger hander tip expands the stop structure and consequently the compression spring pulls the needle and needle holder back into plunger hander. The technical parameters of present syringe such as break force, needle holder push out force and plunger hander lock force are very stable while working. With simple structure, reasonable design, easy manufacture and assemble, this product can been widely used in relevant area.

3.The impact of robotic surgery on gynecologic oncology.
Journal of Gynecologic Oncology 2011;22(3):196-202
The objective of this article was to review the published scientific literature pertaining to robotic surgery and its applications in gynecologic malignancies and to summarize the impact of robotic surgery on the field of gynecologic oncology. Summarizing data from different gynecologic disease-sites, robotic-assisted surgery is safe, feasible, and demonstrates equivalent histopathologic and oncologic outcomes. In general, benefits to robotic surgery include decreased blood loss, fewer perioperative complications and decreased length of hospital stay. Disadvantages include accessibility to robot surgical systems, decreased haptic sensation and fixed cost as well as cost of disposable equipment. As robotic surgery becomes readily available it will be imperative to develop standardized training modalities. Further research is needed to validate the role of robotic surgery in the treatment of gynecologic malignancies.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2014;38(1):68-70
This paper selects the bag-type infusion sets for single use as samples, which are produced by different manufacturers and based on the ethylene oxide sterilization. The ethylene oxide sterilization residues in different parts of samples are detected by colorimetric analysis. Combined the comparison of the ethylene oxide residues testing results in the different parts of the same sample with the actual situation in clinical use, more reasonable sampling positions are found to detect the ethylene oxide sterilization residues. The result of this experiment will play a guiding role in the detection of the actual samples.

7.Study on Testing Methods of Pen-injector's Dosing Accuracy.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2020;44(6):549-552
OBJECTIVE:
An accuracy test method is proposed to reduce the amount of reagents used in the test and reduce the cost of spot checks and self-tests.
METHODS:
According to the requirements of dose accuracy test in standard atmospheric conditions in ISO 11608-1:2014, dose accuracy test is carried out for the same batch of reusable pen injector samples by using the test method proposed in this paper and the test method in relevant foreign research, and the data measured by the two methods are processed.
RESULTS:
After experimental testing and analysis, the data measured by the two methods did not exceed the dose accuracy limit specified in the ISO standard. There was no significant difference between the two methods when the dose of 60 U and 30 U were tested, but there was significant difference when the dose of 1 U was tested.
CONCLUSIONS
Both methods can be used to evaluate dose accuracy, however, the method proposed in this paper can reduce the usage of drugs by 2/3, so it can reduce cost of supervised test.

BACKGROUND/AIMS: It is believed that disposable biopsy forceps are more costly than reusable biopsy forceps. In this study, we evaluated performance and cost of disposable forceps versus reusable forceps in esophagogastroduodenoscopic biopsy. METHODS: Between October 2009 and July 2010, we enrolled 200 patients undergoing esophagogastroduodenoscopic biopsy at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital. Biopsies were performed with 100 disposable or 5 reusable forceps by random assignment. Seventy-five additional patients were studied to estimate durability of reusable forceps. The assisting nurses estimated the performance of the forceps. The evaluation of costs included purchase prices and reprocessing costs. The adequacy of the sample was estimated according to the diameter of the obtained tissue. RESULTS: Performance of disposable forceps was estimated as excellent in 97.0%, good in 2.0% and adequate in 1.0%. Reusable forceps were estimated as excellent in 36.0%, good in 36.0%, adequate in 25.1% and inadequate in 2.9%. The performance of reusable forceps declined with the number of uses. The reprocessing cost of reusable forceps for one biopsy session was calculated as 8,021won. The adequacy of the sample was excellent for both forceps. CONCLUSIONS: Disposable forceps showed excellent performance. Considering the reprocessing costs of reusable forceps, usage of disposable forceps with a low price should be considered.
