5.Quick termination and implications of medical service price reform policy in Chongqing city:A case study of health policy with perspective of policy actors
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2017;10(1):2-7
Local policy innovation is a distinct feature in the arena of public administration in China. Previous researches concerned with local policy innovation experience and policy introduction, but they pay little attention to the failure of policy innovations and their termination. This paper uses the theory and concept of public policy process to analyze the reasons for the quick termination process and its mechanism taking healthcare policy as a case study in Chongqing city. It concludes that relative policy strategy is closed in decision-making. The strategy of some special policy target groups as well as the mutual agitation between public and media agenda are the main reasons for the rap-id end of policy innovation. This study is helpful to understand the factors and logic mechanism of the quick termina-tion of local policy innovation as a special type of public policy change which is termed as short-lived and make more scientific healthcare policy decision making and reform in China.
6.18F-FDG PET/CT in Diagnosis of Small Intestinal Malignant Neoplasm
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging 2015;(1):19-22
Purpose To analyze the 18F-FDG PET/CT features of small intestinal malignant neoplasm, and to discuss the diagnosis value. Materials and Methods Forty-seven patients who were highly suspected with small intestinal tumors underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT whole body scan were retrospectively analyzed, the results of PET/CT examinations and the findings of biopsy and surgical pathology were compared. The maximum of intestinal wall thickness (IWTmax) and maximum of standardized uptake value (SUVmax) were calculated to analyze the relationship of them under different pathological conditions. Results Six out of the 47 small intestinal tumors were benign, the other 41 were malignant tumors among which 19 were malignant lymphoma and 17 were adenocarcinoma. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy rate, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of 18F-FDG PET/CT in the diagnosis of small intestinal malignant neoplasm were 92.7%, 83.3%, 91.5%, 97.4% and 62.5%, respectively. Compared with those of benign tumors, the SUVmax and IWTmax of malignant intestinal tumors were significantly higher (t=5.596 and 2.376, P<0.05). The SUVmax in small bowel adenocarcinoma was significantly lower than that in malignant lymphoma (t=2.419, P<0.05);the IWTmax. between the two kinds of tumors showed no difference (t=0.369, P>0.05). The SUVmax and IWTmax of small intestinal malignant lymphoma had no correlation (r=0.293, P>0.05), whilst there was significant correlation between the IWTmax and SUVmax in small intestinal adenocarcinoma (r=0.542, P<0.05). Conclusion The SUVmax and IWTmax of malignant intestinal tumors are higher than those of benign intestinal tumors; 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging is rather reliable in differentiating small intestinal malignant tumors from benign ones. Intestinal malignant lymphoma shows a higher uptake of 18F-FDG than intestinal adencarcinoma, but the intestinal wall thickness of the two kinds shows no difference.
7.Origin of syndrome differentiation according to meridian and collateral theory and its clinical application.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(3):297-299
Through tracing to the source of syndrome differentiation according to meridian and collateral theory, Lingshu: Jingmai (Miraculous Pivot * Meridians) is studied in this article. Considered the requirement and concept of treatment according to syndrome differentiation, the application of proper syndrome differentiation methods based on meridian and collateral theory in acupuncture clinic is discussed. Theories, key factors as well as historical relations of syndrome differentiation according to meridian and collateral are also analyzed. The feature and origin of syndrome differentiation according to meridian and collateral, which are considered to be more important, are also discussed. Focuses of explanation are put on the functions, significances, connotations, relationship and clinical application of two major factors of syndrome differentiation, namely the running course of meridian and collateral and signs.

8.Neoadjuvant chemotherapy and preoperative radiation for stage Ⅰb-Ⅱb cervical cancer
China Oncology 2000;0(06):-
Purpose:To evaluate the effect of preoperativ e chemotherapy or brachtherapy and radical hysterectomy on stage Ⅰb-Ⅱb locally advanced cervical cancer with high risk factors. Methods:preoperative chemotherapy or radiotherapy followed by r adical hysterectomy compared to radical hysterectomy alone in stage Ⅰb-Ⅱb cer vical cancer with higher risk factors(bulky, lower grade, small cell cancer or ade nocarcinoma). Results:①Pelvic lymphnode metastases rate was significantly decreased in the neoadjuvant chemotherapy arm compared with surgery alone(P 0.05). Conclusions:Preoperative chemotherapy followed by surgery is e ffective and superior to surgery alone in stage Ⅰb-Ⅱb cervical cancer with high risk factors. It might be able to reduce tumor volume and eliminate effectiv ely disease in lymphnodes and possibly micrometastases. It may be beneficial in improving quality of life of patients by decreasing the need for postoperative r adiotherapy. Response to chemotherapy may be a prognostic factor.Preoperative br achytherapy showed no significant advantage in eliminating lymphnodes matastases as compared to surgery alone.

10.Progress of research on tissue regeneration
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(03):-
For hundreds of years, scientists have been inspired by the regeneration phenomena in nature. Thanks to the development in the research tools for molecular biology, our understanding of the underlying molecular mechanisms involved in regeneration has been greatly deepened. Besides the increasing knowledge obtained from the studies on the molecular mechanisms of amphibian regeneration, accumulating evidence has proved that mammals may also have regenerative property, and the repair mechanisms should be conserved cross the species. Therefore, better clinical therapies are expected with the elucidation of regeneration mechanisms. Through introduction of the recent progress in amphibian appendage and mammalian regeneration, we expect the readers to have the fundamental understanding in this promising field.
