ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of Qingpeng ointment in the treatment of chronic eczema.MethodsTotally,95 patients with chronic eczema were enrolled and divided into 3 groups to receive topical Qingpeng ointment (n =33),0.2％ hydrocortisone cream (n =32),10％ urea ointment (n =30) respectively twice a day for 4 weeks.All the patients were followed up once a week for the evaluation of therapeutic and side effects.ResultsAfter 4-week treatment,the response rate was 78.8％,84.4％ and 46.7％ in the Qingpeng ointment-,hydrocortisone cream- and urea ointment-treated patients respectively.Significant differences were observed in the response rate between the Qingpeng ointment- and urea ointment-treated patients (P ＜ 0.05 ),but not between the hydrocortisone cream- and Qingpeng ointment-treated patients (P ＞0.05).Skin flushing with a sensation of burning was observed at the application sites of 2 patients treated with Qingpeng ointment,and tingling sensation at the application sites was reported in 1 patient treated with hydrocortisone cream.All of these adverse reactions were tolerable and had no influence on the treatment.Conclusion Topical Qingpeng ointment is effective and safe for the treatment of chronic eczema.

Objective To investigate the expression of aquaporins-3 (AQP3) in amniotic epithelial cells regulated by cyclic adenosine monophosphate-protein kinase A (cAMP-PKA) signal pathway and to explore the mechanisms of its expression.Methods The amniotic epithelial cells were collected from 30 patients who underwent elective caesarean sections at term with normal amniotic fluid volume and primarily cultured.The cultured cells were treated with (1) forskolin groups: different concentration (0,2.5,5,50 or 100 μmol/L) of forskolin treated cells for 2 hours,and the optimal concentration of forskolin treated cells with different time (0,1,2,10 or 20 hours) ; (2)SP-cAMP groups: different concentration (0,2.5,5,50 or 100 μmol/L) of SP-cAMP treated cells for 2 hours,and the optimal concentration of SP-cAMP treated cells with different time (0,1,2,10 or 20 hours); (3)H-89 groups: different concentration (0,5,10,50 or 100 μmol/L) of H-89 treated cells for 2 hours,and the optimal concentration of H-89 treated cells with different time (0,1,2,10 or 20 hours).The level of intracellular cAMP and activity of PKA were detected by using ELISA,and immunohistochemistry was used to detect the localization of AQP3,the protein expression of total cAMP-response element binding protein (CREB) and phospho-CREB (p-CREB) and AQP3 were assessed by western blot analysis.Cell proliferation was assessed by cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8)assay.Results (1) The brown staining of AQP3 was detected in both cell membrane and cytoplasm in each group.(2) There was no significant change of the cell proliferation rate among groups with different concentration of forskolin,SP-cAMP and H-89 treatment (P ＞ 0.05).(3) After different concentration of forskolin treated 2 hours,the expression of total CREB had no significant difference among them(P ＞ 0.05).While the expression of cAMP level,PKA activity,p-CREB and AQP3 protein were significantly changed,which were higher in 2.5 μmol/L,5 μmol/L,50 μmol/L forskolin group when compared with 0 μmol/L (P ＜ 0.05).Their expressions in 5 μmol/L forskolin group were higher than that in 2.5 μmol/L and 50 μmol/L (P ＜ 0.05).The optimal forskolin concentration was 5 μmol/L.(4) After different concentration of SP-cAMP treated 2 hours,the expression of total CREB and cAMP level had no significant difference among them (P ＞ 0.05),while the expression of PKA activity,p-CREB and AQP3 protein were significantly changed,which were higher in 5 μμmol/L,50 μmol/L SP-cAMP group when compared with 0 μmol/L (P ＜ 0.05).Their expressions in 50 μmol/L SP-cAMP group were higher than that in 5 μmol/L (P ＜0.05).The optimal SP-cAMP concentration was 50 μmol/L (5) After different concentration of H-89 treated 2 hours,the expression of total CREB and cAMP level had no significant difference among them (P ＞ 0.05),while the expression of PKA activity,p-CREB and AQP3 protein were significantly changed,which were lower in 10 μmol/L,50 μmol/L and 100 μmol/L H-89 group when compared with 0 μmol/L (P ＜ 0.05).Their expressions in 10 μmol/L H-89 group were lower than that in 50 μmol/L,100 μmol/L (P ＜ 0.05).The optimal H-89 concentration was 10 μmol/L.(6) p-CREB and AQP3 protein expression were significantly lower in 5 μmol/L forskolin combined 10 μmol/L H-89 incubating 2 hours group when compared with 5 μmol/L forskolin,but higher than that in 10 μmol/L H-89 treated group (P ＜ 0.05).Total CREB was no significant difference among the three groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion cAMP-PKA signal transduction pathway may regulate AQP3 protein expression in human amniotic epithelial cells.

Objective To define the mechanical features of mitral annulus at various sites,and to investigate the specific mechanics characterization at different mitral annulus sites in evaluation consequences of left ventricular function by dual pulse-wave Doppler (DPW) technology.Methods The DPW spectrums were obtained at lateral and aboral interval,anterior and inferior and posterior mitral annular from 112 normal adults.The peak systolic velocity (Sm),peak early diastolic velocity (Em),peak late diastolic velocity (Am),the beginning time of the peak and the time to peak were measured,and E/A,Em/Am,E/Em,left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and left ventricular fractional shortening (LVFS) were computed.Results 1)Sm,Em,Am and Em/Am measured in the free wall annulus were significantly greater than measured in the interval annulus of mitral annular sites.However,E/Em was opposited (P ＜ 0.05).Sm of the posterior wall mitral annulus accelerated frist and experienced shortest duration in all the mitral annular sites (P ＜ 0.01).There were no significant differences of Em time parameters among different mitral annulus sites.Am of the beginning time and peak time in the free wall annulus were significantly longer than that in the interval annulus of anterior mitral annular sites.However,the acceleration time was opposited(P ＜0.05).2) Sm was correlated with LVEF and LVFS (r =0.243 and r =0.227,P ＜0.01) only at the posterior mitral annular site,Em/Am of anterior and posterior wall mitral annulus had the highest correlations with mitral orifice flow E/A(r =0.545 and 0.545 respectively,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions There are significant differences among the mechanics patterns at different mitral annulus sites in normal adults.The mechanics characterization at different mitral annulus sites have different conclusions of left ventricular function.

Objective To evaluate the relationship between the let-7 rs10877887 polymorphism and cancer risk in the Chinese population.Methods We searched all relevant studies published on association between the let-7 rs10877887 polymorphism and cancer risk in PubMed,Embase and Wanfang databases up to December 31,2016 were searched.A total of 4 case-control studies comprising 2 754 cases and 3 481 controls were included in this meta-analysis.The pooled odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (95%CI) were calculated to examine the strength of the association.Sensitivity analyses were performed to assess the stability of the results,publication bias was also assessed.Results The pooled results showed that there was a significant association between the let-7 rs10877887 polymorphism and overall cancer risk under the dominant model (CC+CT vs.TT:OR=0.90,95%CI=0.82-1.00,P=0.048).Conclusion Base on present studies,the results of this meta-analysis indicated that there is a significant association between the let-7 rs10877887 polymorphism and overall cancer risk in the Chinese population,the let-7 rs10877887 polymorphism could decrease the risk of cancer.

Objective To investigate the risk factors related to mortality in human avian influenza A (H7N9)cases in Hangzhou.Methods The clinical and epidemiological data of 61 H7N9 patients whose diagnoses were confirmed by laboratory tests between 1st March,2013 and 2nd March,2014 in Hangzhou were collected.Descriptive analysis and univariate analysis were used to analyze the demographic,clinical and epidemiological characteristics and treatment outcomes.Patients were classified into improvement group and death group according to treatment outcomes,and risk factors for death were explored.Chi square test and t test were used for statistical analysis.Results A total of 61 patients were included in this study,among which 20(32.8%)patients died.The ratio of men to women for death attributed to H7N9 infection was three to one.The mean age of patients in death group was (63.6 ±3.8)years,which was older than that in improvement group ([55 .4±2.2]years,t =1 .97,P =0.05 ).The univariate analysis showed that the risk factors of mortality included over 60 years (χ2 =5 .16,P =0.02;OR =3.65 ,95 %CI :1 .19-11 .13 ),low education level (χ2 = 5 .42,P =0.02;OR =4.20,95 %CI :1 .24 - 14.00 ), chronic diseases (χ2 =4.67,P =0.03;OR=3.81 ,95 %CI :1 .12-12.69),bad hand hygiene (χ2 =4.05 , P =0.04;OR=4.67,95 %CI :1 .04 -11 .56 ),C-reactive protein (CRP)≥120 mg/L (χ2 =4.04,P =0.04;OR=6.00,95 %CI :1 .04-35 .33),increased initial neutrophil count (χ2 =3.90,P =0.05 ;OR=4.58,95 %CI :1 .01 -34.22)and decreased initial lymphocyte count (χ2 =7.12,P =0.01 ;OR =7.53, 95 %CI :1 .63 - 24.51 ).Conclusion Over 60 years,low education level,chronic diseases,bad hand hygiene,CRP≥ 120 mg/L,increased initial neutrophil count and decreased initial lymphocyte count are identified as risk factors for death in H7N9 cases in Hangzhou.

Objective To investigate the associations of peripheral CD4+ CD25 + CD127low/-regulatory T cells (Treg) with HBV viral load and liver pathology in hepatitis B virus (HBV) carriers.Methods Forty six chronic HBV carriers admitted in the first hospital of Jiaxing during October 2012 and February 2014,and 23 healthy subjects (controls) were enrolled in the study.CD4+ CD25 + CD127low/-Treg in peripheral blood of the two groups were detected by flow cytometry.Ultrasound-guided liver biopsies were performed in chronic HBV carriers and HBV DNA load was determined by real-time PCR method.Independent samples t test was used for the comparison between groups,and Spearman rank correlation or Pearson linear correlation analyses were performed.Results The frequency of the peripheral CD4+ CD25+CD127low/-Treg in 46 HBV carriers was (5.11 ±1.47)％,which was significantly higher than that in healthy controls [(3.46 ± 1.23) ％,t =4.629,P ＜ 0.01].The HBV DNA load in HBV carriers was (6.21 ±1.98)lg copies/mL,which was positively correlated with the CD4+ CD25+ CD127low/-Treg level (r =0.405,P ＜ 0.01).Among 46 HBV carriers,21 (45.65％) were of inflammation grade 2 or above,and 16 (34.78％) were of fibrosis stage 2 or above.Peripheral CD4+ CD25+ CD127low/-Treg level was negatively correlated with inflammation and fibrosis in HBV carriers (r =-0.343 and-0.452,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion CD4 + CD25 + CD127low/-Treg may be associated with the chronicity of HBV infection and the degree of liver damage.

Objective To investigate the imaging features of perivascular epithelioid cell tumor of liver (PEComa),and to improve the diagnostic level of the disease. Methods A retrospective analysis of imaging manifestations was performed on 11 cases of hepatic hemangioma confirmed by surgery and pathology. All patients underwent CT and MRI examination before PET/CT examination ,then received operation. Results Eleven cases were solitary hepatic lesions ,10 of which were located in the right lobe of the liver ,and 1 in the left. The lesions were round or quasi-circular and the diameter ranged from about 13.5cm to about 1.8 cm,with an average of 5.7 cm. CT plain scanning showed that the liver was slightly lower density ,with clear boundary. The smaller lesions were homogeneous density,while the larger ones were not,and the lower density area was visible. Enhancement of peripheral lesions in the arterial phase was enhanced. The lesions in the portal vein were not uniformly enhanced , and visible separation was found in large lesions. In the delay phase ,the lesions were significantly decreased or slightly lower. MRI plain scan showed the lesion T1WI showed moderate signal or slightly low signal ,and large lesion signal was not uniform,and T2WI lesions showed slightly high signal while DWI lesions high signal and the enhanced features were similar to those of CT. PET/CT examination showed that visible radioactive uptake of abnormal concentration or uneven concentration were found in lesions with diameter larger than 3.0 cm,and the maximum SUV value ranged from 12.2 to 3.6,with an average value of 5.7. Lesions with diameter less than 3.0 cm showed a slight concentration of radioactive uptake and the highest SUV value was 4.7,with an average value of 2.9. The only 11.8 cm lesion showed no significant radioactivity ,which was as the same as that of normal liver tissue. Delayed PET/CT imaging(1 hour)showed that SUV values of all lesions were decreased in varying degrees. Conclusion PET/CT imaging of perivascular epithelioid cell tumor of liver has its characteristics. The combina-tion of PET/CT imaging and routine imaging examination will benefit the improvement of diagnosis level obviously.

AIM: To analyze and compare the clinical effect in treatment of degenerative entropion of lower eyelid with blepharochalasis between the modified orbicularis oculi muscle shortening procedure and orbicularis muscle shortening procedure.?METHODS:From January 2012 to August 2014, ninety-three cases ( 108 eyes ) diagnosed as involutional entropion of lower eyelid with blepharochalasis were enrolled in our study. According to different surgical methods, patients were divided into observation group (52 eyes in 47 cases) and control group (56 eyes in 46 cases ) . The observation group was performed on the modified orbicularis muscle shortening procedure, and the control group was using a simple orbicularis muscle shortening method. The general datum, short - term clinical effect and long-term clinical effect were collected to compared between two groups.?RESULTS:The age, gender and the course of disease were no significance differences between the observation group and the control group (P>0. 05). There was no statistical significance on the short-term effective rate ( P>0. 05 ) between the observation group and the control group ( 98％ vs 95％, respectively ) . The long - term recurrence rate of the observation group was 2％, while the control group was 14％. It had a significance statistical difference between two groups (P=0. 033).?CONCLUSION: The clinical curative effect of modified orbicularis oculi muscle shortening procedure, in the treatment of lower eyelid entropion with blepharochalasis, is better than the orbicularis muscle shortening procedure's.

Objective To detect the expressions of CD19 and CD20 of B-lymphocytes (CD19+B, CD20+B) and natural killer (NK) cells in the peripheral blood of epileptic children and explore their significances. Methods Four hundred and fifty-eight epileptic children, admitted to our hospital from January 2008 to December 2010, were chosen as patient group; another 52 healthy subjects were chosen as controls. The expressions of CD19+B and CD20+B and NK cells were detected by flow cytometry; their results were compared. Ninety-two epileptic children were treated with intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) and the effect of IVIG therapy was studied. Results The CD19+B level ([22.35±6.54]％) and CD20+B level ([21.50±8.41]％) in the epileptic children were obviously higher than those in the healthy controls ([16.86±4.02)％,[16.13±4.19]％, P＜0.05); and the level of NK cells ([9.1 1±4.90]％) in the epileptic children was significantly decreased as compared with that in the healthy controls ([14.72±4.15]％, P＜0.05). The CD19+B level ([18.26±5.03]％) and CD20+B level ([16.74±5.12]％) 6months after MG treatment were decreased significantly as compared with those before treatment ([22.74±6.25]％,[21.61±8.03]％, P＜0.05]; while the level of NK cells ([14.65±4.58]％) 6 months after IVIG treatment was increased significantly as compared with that before treatment ([9.07±4.76]％,P＜0.05). Among the 92 patients treated with IVIG, 70 enjoyed good results and 22 had non-effective resutls; The changesofCD19+Blevel ([7.99±5.34]％) and CD20+B ([8.21±5.21]％) before and after treatment in effectively treated patients by IVIG were significantly different as compared with those in ineffectively treated patients by MG ([3.78±2.76]％,[3.66±2.48]％, P＜0.05); however, the changes of level of NK cells before and after treatment showed no significant difference between effectively treated patients and ineffectively treated patients ([5.28±4.55]％,[4.53％±4.43]％, P＞0.05). Conclusion Dysfunctions of B-lymphocytes and NK cells exist in epileptic children, and MG treatment shows good effect on immune dysfunction of them. The levels of CD19-B and CD20-B can be used as monitoring indicators in the IVIG treatment of epileptic children.

Objective To explore the application effect of postural animation video instruction mode in elderly patients undergoing epidural anesthesia. Methods A total of 300 patients with epidural anesthesia were registered from January 2015 to February 2016. The patients were divided into trial group and control group with 150 cases each. The trial group was preoperatively interviewed by the postural anatomy video instruction mode, and the control group was only preoperatively interviewed by oral interpretation. The epidural anesthesia effect and anxiety between the two groups were compared. Results The difference of anesthesia posture and anatomical position, the average time of epidural puncture, the success rate of one puncture and the degree of anxiety before and after mission were 90.67% (136/150), (14.50 ± 10.20) s, (425.60 ± 78.30) s, 97.33% (146/150) and (21.65 ± 6.62) points respectively. The control group was 22.00%(33/150), (112.60 ± 60.80) s, (589.40 ± 90.70)s, 82.67%(124/150) and (6.65 ± 5.40) points respectively. There were significant differences between the two groups (χ2=8.79, t=13.54-19.88, all P < 0.01). Conclusions The postural anatomical video teaching mode can relieve anxiety, improve the degree of fit of epidural anesthesia and the success rate of puncture, shorten the time of posture, thus shorten the average time of epidural puncture, improve the quality of nursing in the operating room, work efficiency.
