Left atrial diameter was measured at before and 6, 12, 18 months after treatment. Results After 12 months, the left atrial diameter in amiodarone monotherapy group was significantly greater than irbesartan plus amiodarone combined group (P
4.Clinical Features of Adult Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder among Substance Abusers
Chinese Mental Health Journal 2002;0(09):-
Objective:To explore the clinical presentations and symptom distribution in adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) among non-alcohol substance use disorder population, and to prove the effectiveness of adult ADHD diagnosis. Methods:Thirty adults with ADHD and thirty non-ADHD controls were selected from Beijing Compulsory Detoxification Center, matched with sex, age, and education.Data collection included the following:(1)Self-report measures of developmental history, employment history, social history and ADHD clinical symptoms.(2)Psychiatric interview using structured assessments included the Clinical Diagonsitic Interview Scale(CDIS)for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders(DSM-IV).(3)Evaluation for cognitive function with the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Revised Chinese(WAIS-RC).Results:(1)The clinical core symptoms(such as attention deficit, restlessness, and impulsive symptoms)among adulthood ADHD were similar to childhood ADHD except for some hyperactivity symptoms.(2)The symptoms of attention deficit, restlessness and impulsiveness were more frequently in both of adulthood and childhood ADHD than non-ADHD controls(P
5.Effect of Proprioceptive Training and Core Stability Training on Lower Limbs Motor Function and Balance in Patients with Hemiplegia after Stroke
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2014;20(12):1109-1112
Objective To investigate the effects of proprioceptive training and core stability training on the lower limbs motor function and balance in patients with hemiplegia after stoke. Methods 40 patients were randomly divided into treatment group (n=20) and control group (n=20). Both groups received routine rehabilitation and the treatment group received proprioceptive training and core stability training in addition. They were assessed with Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) of lower limbs, Functional Ambulation Category (FAC), Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Timed Up-and-Go Test (TUGT) before and 6 weeks after treatment. Results The scores of FMA, FAC, BBS and TUGT improved in both groups after treatment (P<0.01), and improved more in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Addition of proprioceptive training and core stability training may further improve the lower limbs motor function and balance of the hemiplegics after stroke.
6.Investigation in job burnout of nursing staff in sterile laminar flow wards and countermeasures
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2012;28(20):85-86
Objective To evaluate the job burnout of the nurses in sterile laminar flow wards and offer proposals for improvements. Methods Forty nurses in sterile laminar flow wards were surveyed with MBI-GS.Results The scores of emotional exhaustion, cynicism, job inefficiency were higher after working in sterile laminar flow wards for 3 months than those working in general wards for 3 months. Conclusions The nurses in laminar flow wards are prone to have job burnout.Standardized training, humanized management and positive psvchological intervention can improve the job burnout of the nurses in laminar flow wards.
7.Antimicrobials Applying in a Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine:Investigations and Analysis
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(12):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate the antimicrobial application in a hospital of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).METHODS Data of antimicrobial application in patients who were discharged within a month were investigated.RESULTS The usage rate of antimicrobials was 62.62%,the surgical departments were higher in antibacterial use than departments of internal medicine;the pathogenic detection rate was 17.28%;the usage rate of combinations accounted for 34.14%;the duration of preoperative and postoperative antimicrobial use was long, some patients didn′t receive rationally preoperative prophylactic antimicrobials.CONCLUSIONS Management of clinical antimicrobial application in hospital of TCM should be strengthened, especially on the indication of antimicrobial and pathogenic detection.
8.Biological function of heme oxygenase in its role in liver transplantation
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(12):-
Heme oxygenase(HO) is a rate-limiting enzyme that catalyzes heme degradation. It catabolizes heme into 3 products: carbon monoxide(CO),free iron and bilirubin, which play an important role in keeping the steady state of the organism. In recent years, some studies show that the promotion of HO-1 expression can reduce ischemia-reperfusion injury of an organ transplant and regulate the transplantation immunological rejection. It has an important application prospect in liver transplantation.
9.Gut barrier dysfunction in severe acute pancreatitis
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 2004;0(06):-
In recent years, some investigations show that gut barrier dysfunction induced by severe acute pancreatitis was an important factor to determine the prognosis. Consequently, pathogenesis, monitoring standard was and treament of pancreatitis associated gut barrier dysfunction are becoming hot spots.
10.Antimicrobial Agent Resistance of Escherichia coli Isolated from Clinic
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(08):-
OBJECTIVE To analyze the drug-resistance of Escherichia coli isolated from clinic in the past two years. METHODS The drug-resistance to 19 kinds of antimicrobial agents of 435 E. coli strains was detected by K-B method. 3-D test was performed to detect AmpC ?-lactamase and Extended-spectrum ?-lactamases(ESBLs). RESULTS It showed that the strains from cervical secretions, urine, throat swab and lochia specimens had the highest positive rate. Sensitivity test results showed that the resistance rate to ampicillin, aztreonam, sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprims and quinolones was high (49.23-84.10%), and resistance rate to the third, and fourth-generation cephalosporins was high too(31.35-46.80%). Strains that resistant to imipenem and meropenem were not detected out and they had a high sensitivity rate (93.38%), to cefoperazone/sulbactam. Detection rate of ESBLs and AmpC was 32.67% and 5.52%, respectively. Nineteen srtains produced both of them and 6 srtains produced AmpC only. CONCLUSIONS The detection rate and drug resistance are increasingly severe. Clinic and laboratory should make efforts to reduce hospital infection and dissemination of drug-resistant strains.
