Based on LCD Module and Visual C++ development environment, this paper proposes a new method which can quickly develop the human-machine interface .We define a LCD module programming interface by designing Serial Communication Class(SCS). On this basis,we achieve the transplantation on an Embedded ARM Platform to fulfil the requirements of Medical Diagnostic Instruments (MDI). Experimental results show that this method has advantages of short development cycle and high level transplantation which has broad application prospects in the field of Medical Diagnosis Instrument.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2005;22(6):1264-1270
Based on theoretic analysis, a new method for measuring linearity of physiological instrument and its inner unit circuits is provided. In this method, the sawtooth wave signal, which includes a base wave and its odd-even times harmonic waves, is used to act as input signal, then the linearity of physiological instrument and its inner unit circuits can be measured by analyzing the shape and frequency property of the output signal. The results of experiment show this method is quick and convenient for measuring the linearity of physiological instrument and its inner unit circuits.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2002;26(3):164-169
A digital tongue image analysis instrument (TIAI) based on computer for Traditional Chinese Medicine is introduced. Some of the key techniques, including the image acquiring condition and method, the evaluation of tongue characters, and the management of tongue image data, are discussed as well. TIAI can provide a non-invasive, quantitative, and objective analysis approach and enhance the theory level and practical ability of the Traditional Chinese tongue diagnosis.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2010;27(1):178-182
A remote interactive consultation system based on wireless sensor networks is proposed for family health care works and non-hospital special case patient monitoring. The sensor nodes are integrated into a local area network to collect a variety of human physiological information, which is uploaded to Internet through the Code-Division Multiple Access (CDMA) wireless network technology and sent to the database based on GIS spatial location query technology for achieving electronic diagnosis. Users or administrators can visit remote monitor region through Internet. The results show that the system, using a star passive topology of static gateway and mobile detection node, combines intelligent-distributed wireless sensing, computing and wireless communication technologies. Hence the proposed system has a great practical value.

6.The design of a wearable ECG and respiration sensor vest and its monitoring system.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2006;30(5):341-344
This article describes the design of a sensor vest and its corresponding measuring and transfering system which can be used for ECG and respiration monitoring in mobile and noninvasive conditions. The electric conduction textile is sutured in the inside of the vest in its specific position to be detecting electrodes, which are connected to the vest edge. The signal is then connected to the measuring and transferring system. in which the microcontroller and circuits monitor the ECG, heart rate and respiration data. The data are transmitted through the serial communication to a PC, and then are received and displayed with Visual Basic program.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2002;26(3):177-179
An automatic ECG analysis system based on DSP is introduced in this paper. It can fulfill the functions of signal regulation, adaptive filtering, QRS waves positioning, and automatically recognize more than 10 kinds of arrhythmia and report alarm. TI DSP product--TMS320F206 is applied in this system to accomplish the adaptive filtering and automatic diagnosis of arrhythmia for the need of real time signal processing.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2005;22(1):171-174
Non-invasive (NI) blood glucose measurement is a new method, this article deals with current researches and analyzes the advantages and shortages of different measurement methods, including electrochemical process and Optical methods (transmission, polarimetry and back scattering). Then, the technology of near-infrared spectra is emphasized in the analysis. Finally, the problem and technical analysis of non-invasive (NI) blood glucose measurement at the present time are discussed. We preliminarily aim at the method of NI blood glucose determination and the original concept of measuring apparatus, including the choice of incident light wavelength, determination of receiver point, establishment of the optical model of biological tissue, and apparatus design.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2007;31(1):26-29
An epilepsy EEG processing system designed based on Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is introduced in the paper, in order to meet the requirements of epileptic screening in clinical medicine. The system adopts module structure and virtual instrument technology, its hardware is mainly configured in the signal-detecting box, data are exchanged between the box and the notebook computer or personal digital assistant (PDA) through certain digital interface, and ICA is executed in the notebook computer or PDA. The virtual EEG processing system based on ICA is able not only to perform ICA algorithms easily, but also to improve the developing efficiency greatly, and it is suitable for disease screening on a large scale.
