Objective To evaluate the effect of maternal separation stress on the behavior of neonatal rd mice.Methods Neonatal rd mice were divided into maternal separation (MS) group (n=9) and control group (n=9).MS-stress was induced in the MS group by 4-hour-separation per day for 28 days.Open field test,elevated plus maze test,forced swim test and tail suspension test were used to evaluate the anxiety-like and depression-like behavior of the neonatal rd mice.Results The stay time and distance travelled of MS group in the central zone were 0.88％ and 28.17±5.65 cm,respectively,significantly shorter than that of the control group (2.61％,109.9±9.79 cm.P =0.04,P =0.001).Compared with the control group,the stay time in open arms of the MS group was significantly decreased (P<0.01),while the immobility time in forced swim test and tail suspension test of the MS group were 126.5±10.22 s and 21.56±6.83 s,significantly longer than that of the control group (77.75±16.83 s,P =0.02,7.37±3.22 s,P =0.03).Conclutions The 28-day maternal separation stress can significantly increase the anxiety-like and depression-like behavior in neonatal rd mice.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of low-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) treatment of patients with alcohol dependence,anxiety and depression,and sleep problems.Methods 80 patients with alcohol-dependent patients were randomly divided into experimental group (40 cases) and control group (40 cases).All patients received routine treatment and care,the experimental group received additional rTMS to stimulate parts of the bilateral dorsolateral prefrontal region (DLPFC) 2 brain regions,each side 15 minutes at frequency of 1Hz,patient motion stimulus,intensity threshold (MT) of 80％,five times a week rTMS treatment,a total of 8 weeks,the control group received stimulation coil.Subjects were interviewed,as the time for the baseline,2 weeks,4 weeks and 8 weeks,assessment tools for the hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA),Hamilton depression rating scale (HAMD),Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI).Results Compared with the pre-treatment,HAMA scores (19.5 ± 6.4,13.8± 5.3,7.3± 5.4 respectively) were significantly lower in 2,4,8 weeks after treatment (t 2 =11.29,P＜0.01;t 4=15.26,P＜0.01;t s =9.40,P＜0.01).Compared with the control group,HAMA scores were significantly lower in the experimental group after treatment (P＜0.01).Compared with the pretreatment group HAMD scores(17.5±6.6,11.2±4.9,6.1±5.2 respectively)were significantly lower in 2,4,8 weeks after treatment (t 2 =15.54,P＜0.01;t 4 =16.68,P＜0.01;t s =18.77,P＜0.01).Compared with the control group,HAMD scores were significantly lower in the experimental group after treatment (P＜0.01).Compared with the control group,PSQI scores were significantly lower in the experimental group in 2,4,8 weeks after treatment (t 2 =26.39,P＜0.01;t4=15.21,P＜0.01;ts=46.35,P＜0.01).Condusion Low-frequency rTMS treatment for alcohol dependence withdrawal symptoms can improve symptoms,such as anxiety and depression,sleep status.

Objective To observe curative effect of Ningdong granules on tourette syndrome (TS) concomitant with sleep disorder in children.Methods Eighty-three cases were diagnosed by diagnosis and statistics of mental-disorder (DSMIV) TS criterion and diagnostic standard of traditional Chinese medicine,and then were divided into 3 groups:tiapride hydrochloride group (n =25),Ningdong granules group (n =30) and tiapride hydrochloride plus Ningdong granules group (n =28).Yale global tic severity scale (YGTSS) and Athens insomnia scale (Athens) were used for rating the clinical efficacy before and after treatment.The enrolled children were treated for a period of three months.Results The therapeutic effective rate of TS in tiapride hydrochloride group,Ningdong granules group and tiapride hydrochloride plus Ningdong granules group was 92.0％,90.0％ and 96.4％,respectively.The therapeutic effective rate of sleep disorder was 84.0％,93.3％ and 96.4％,respectively.Mter treatment,YGTSS and Athens scores were significantly changed in all three groups (P ＜ 0.05).Athens score was significantly different between tiapride hydrochloride plus Ningdong granules group and tiapride hydrochloride group (P ＜ 0.05).The total number of adverse reactions was 16,1 and 8,with significant difference (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Curative effect of Ningdong granules is similar to that of tiapride hydrochloride on treating TS,but Ningdong granules is more effective than tiapride hydrochloride on treating sleep disorder with less adverse reactions.Combination therapy of Ningdong granules with tiapride hydrochloride is the better choice for treating TS with sleep disorder,and it can also reduce the incidence of adverse reactions of tiapride hydrochloride.

Objective To explore the association of Lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2(LP-PLA2) and Antithrombin Ⅲ(AT-Ⅲ)level with the severity of coronary artery lesion in patients with coronary disease. Methods 276 patients undergoing coronary angiography were recruited in the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from March,2016 to March,2017. Patients were sent to one of the two following groups according to their CAG reports:the controlled group(n=111)and the CAD group(n=165). Gensini scores were calculated in CAD group,and divided CAD group into 4 groups by quartiles:group 1(n=41),group 2(n=39),group 3 (n=42)and group 4(n=43). LP-PLA2 and AT-Ⅲwere then compared in different groups and correlation was analyzed in deciding the severity of coronary artery disease. Results (1)LP-PLA2 level in CAD group was signifi-cantly higher than the controlled group(342.9 ± 91.9 vs. 131.8 ± 27.0,P<0.05),but AT-Ⅲlevel was lower than controlled group and(91.0 ± 12.9 vs. 97.8 ± 11.0,P<0.05).(2)Both LP-PLA2 and AT-Ⅲlevel were different in groups stratified by the quartiles of Gensini scores,and the difference is statistically significant.(3)LP-PLA2 was a risk factor while AT-Ⅲwas a protectional factor for coronary artery disease(OR=1.08,95%CI:1.05~1.11,P<0.01;OR=0.95,95%CI:0.93~0.98,P<0.01;respectively )analyzed by Logisitic regression model.(4)Correla-tion analysis showed a positive association of LP-PLA2 level with Gensini scores(r=0.48,P<0.01),and a nega-tive association of AT-Ⅲlevel with Gensini scores(r=-0.24,P<0.01). Conclusion LP-PLA2 level was higher in CAD patients compared to normal patients ,while the relationship of AT-Ⅲ level among the two groups was reversed. Elevated LP-PLA2 level was associated with the increased severity of coronary artery and can provide guidance for clinic.

Life care education,ideological and political education in colleges and universities are important components of higher education.Loss in the life care education,which is prone to be the ignorance of human and human lives in the educational practice,is attracting increasing attention.This paper discusses the status quo and problems in life care,the necessities and approaches in carrying out life care education.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence of depression and anxiety among transgender populations and the correlation with defense mechanism, so as to provide the evidence for improving mental health among transgender populations. Methods: Transgender populations that visited Psychosexual Outpatient Department of Beijing Huilongguan Hospital for the first time from December 2020 to December 2021 were enrolled. Participants' demographics, depression, anxiety and type of defense mechanisms were collected using self-designed questionnaires, Self-rating Depression Scale, Self-rating Anxiety Scale and Defense Style Questionnaire (DSQ). Factors affecting depression and anxiety were identified using a multivariable logistic regression model. Results: Totally 126 transgender individuals were enrolled, including 95 men (75.40%) with a mean age of (21.53±4.55) years and 31 women (24.60%) with a mean age of (23.58±5.55) years. The prevalence of depression was 46.83% among participants, including 44.07% of participants with mild depression, 30.51% with moderate depression and 25.42% with severe depression, and the prevalence of anxiety was 26.19% among participants, including 60.61% of participants with mild anxiety, 21.21% with moderate anxiety and 18.18% with severe anxiety. The detection of depression was 54.74% among men and 22.58% among women (P<0.05), and the detection of both depression (62.79% vs. 38.55%, P<0.05) and anxiety (41.86% vs. 18.07%, P<0.05) was significantly higher among transgender populations with self-injury or suicide behaviors than among those without. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that immature defense mechanisms increased the risk of depression (OR=1.034, 95%CI: 1.018-1.051) and anxiety (OR=1.031, 95%CI: 1.014-1.049) among transgender populations, while mature defense mechanisms reduced the risk of depression (OR=0.887, 95%CI: 0.832-0.946) and anxiety (OR=0.878, 95%CI: 0.821-0.938) among transgender populations. Conclusions The prevalence of depression and anxiety was 46.83% and 26.19% among transgender populations included in this study. This study was aimed to observe the pharmacodynamics of genistein combined with tripterygium gly-cosides ( GTW ) in the rheumatoid arthritis ( RA ) treatment of ovariectomized rats . SD rats were randomly divid-ed into four groups , which were the sham-operation group , model group , Methotrexate ( MTX ) treatment group ( 2.7 mg/kg ) , and genistein ( 30 mg/kg ) combined with GTW ( 70 mg/kg ) treatment group . There were ten rats in each group . Except the sham-operation group , rats in other groups were ovariectomized and immunized by collagen type II to prepare collagen induced arthritis ( CIA ) model . The intragastric administration of drugs was given once a day for two weeks . The arthritis index , joints swelling degree , and levels of anti-Col II , IL-6 and IL-10 in serum were tested . The results showed that the arthritis index , joints swelling degree , and levels of anti-Col II , IL-6 and IL-10 in serum were all significantly increased in the model group ( P < 0 . 05 or P< 0 . 01 ) . Compared with the model group , the arthritis index and joints swelling degree of both MTX and genistein combined with GTW were significantly decreased . The level of anti-Col II in serum of the MTX treatment group was significantly decreased ( P < 0 . 05 ) . However , there were no significant changes on levels of IL-6 and IL-10 . The levels of anti-Col II and IL-6 in serum of the genistein combined with GTW were significantly decreased ( P < 0 . 05 ) . The level of IL-10 was significantly increased ( P < 0 . 01 ) . It was conclud-ed that genistein combined with GTW can significantly inhibit the pathological progress of CIA on ovariec-tomized rats . Compared with MTX , the genistein combined with GTW received a better regulating effect on the expression of IL-6 and IL-10 . The results suggested that phytoestrogen combined with GTW played a good therapeutic effect on gonadal dysfunction type of RA . It provided novel strategies and experimental evidences on postmenopausal RA treatment in the clinical practice .
