Objective:To analyze adverse drug reactions(ADRs)associated with proprietary Chinese medicine occurring in Beijing Hospital.Method:The ADRs associated with proprietary Chinese medicine between 2002 and 2006 were collected and the associated information was retrospectively analyzed.Result:a total of 179 ADRs were analyzed. Most of them occurring in women patients(76.1%)with hyperplasia of mammary glands who took Xiaojin pills and Xi- huang pills(22.1% & 12%).The herbal medicine injections were the other most associated ones. The clinical appearances of ADRs were rash and bodily manifestation of hypersensitiveness.Condusion:The investigation of Chinese medicine ADR plays a very important role in the modernization of Chinese medicine.

Objective To investigate toxicity and teratogenic effect of Microula seed oil on embryo of rat. Methods 150 mature Wistar rats (100 females, 50 males) were selected with female∶ male = 2∶1 cage match. During the daily morning examination the sperm was discovered in the vagina as the zero day for conception.100 pregnant rats were randomly divided into 5 groups (n=20 in each group): treatment group (included 3 groups: to give Microula seed oil 2.5 g /kg, 5.0 g /kg, 10.0 g /kg body weight, ig, respectively), cyclophosphamide group(7 mg/ kg body weight, sc) and the edible oil group (to give dose, such as volume as Microula seed oil, ig). From the 7th day of pregnancy, the treatment group, the edible oil group were given intervention once a day for 10 days. From the 11th day of pregnancy cyclophosphamide group was given cyclophosphamide as intervention once a day, for 3 days. On the 20th day the pregnant rats were killed. Results The body weight of pregnant rats and the rate of live births were significantly higher in the Microula seed oil dose group than in the cyclophosphamide group (P<0.01), stillbirth rate and birth rate of absorption was significantly lower in the Microula seed oil dose group than in the cyclophosphamide group (P<0.01), and no significant difference from the edible oil group (P> 0.05); the fetal rat, body weight, body length, tail length in all groups of Microula seed oil was no significant difference from the edible oil group (P> 0.05). There was no malformation in appearance, viscera, bones in the treatment group and the edible oil group while there were 112 fetal rats with deformity in 140 in the cyclophosphamide group. Conclusion Microula seed oil at doses of 2.5 g /kg, 5.0 g /kg, 10.0 g /kg body weight had no significant role in the toxicity and teratogenicity on embryos of pregnant rats.

Objective To investigate the effect of patient's body shape and image acquisition mode on the radiation dose and image quality in percutaneous coronary angiography. Methods A total of 40 patients, who received selective percutaneous coronary angiography at the Ningbo Medical Center Lihuili Hospital of China between January 2022 and June 2023,were selected for this study. The patients were randomly divided into conventional group(including 11 males and 9 females, using coronary angiography mode to make image acquisition)and low-dose group(including 14 males and 6 females, using electrophysiological mode to make image acquisition). The patient's basic information, body size data, and the various radiation dose data were collected. The image quality rating scale for assessing the image quality was formulated. The independent sample t-test and Mann-Whitney U test were used for the comparison between the two groups.Pearson correlation analysis method was used to make correlation analysis. Results The larger the patient's chest circumference was,the higher the radiation dose would be,there was a positive linear relationship between the patient's chest circumference and the radiation dose. All the radiation dose parameters in the low-dose group were significantly lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.01),and its reduction percentage was 48.51%-60.74%.No statistically significant difference in image quality score existed between the two groups(P>0.0l),and in both groups the image quality was rated as good or better, meeting the requirements of intervention procedures. Conclusion In percutaneous coronary angiography the radiation dose is influenced by multiple factors including patient's body shape, image acquisition mode, exposure time, etc.Optimizing the image acquisition mode can remarkably reduce the radiation dose while maintaining the image quality and protecting the health of patients and operators.(J Intervent Radiol,2024,33:599-603)

Objective:To analyze the biological characteristics, phylogeny and the taxonomic status of strain 7712 (=CGMCC 1.17031=NBRC 113783=KCTC 15766) isolated from a clinical blood sample. Methods:Strain 7712 was identified by the cultural properties, cellular and colonial morphology, physiological and biochemical reactions, matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry system, and genome correlation index analysis. The genomic phylogenetic tree was construct to analyze the taxonomic position. The virulence factors and resistance genes of strain 7712 and related strains were then compared by the online virulence factor database and online comprehensive antibiotic research database respectively. Results:Strain 7712 was urease negative, gram-negative nonfermenters, which was identified as Ochrobactrum anthropi by VITEK GN card. The 16S rRNA gene analysis showed that the strain was closely related to the members of genera Ochrobactrum and Brucella. The phylogenetic tree showed that strain 7712 was clustered together with Ochrobactrum teleogrylli LCB8 T and Ochrobactrum haematophilum CCUG 38531 T, along with genus Brucella and other Ochrobactrum species. The genome relatedness indexes analysis showed that the average nucleotide identity between strain 7712 and Ochrobactrum teleogrylli LCB8 T was 98.16%, which was higher than the threshold for prokaryotic species. Genetic prediction showed that strain 7712 carried several virulence-related genes and resistance-related genes, of which the existence of OCH gene might be responsible to the resistance to cephalosporin. Conclusions:A case of human infection caused by Ochrobactrum teleogrylli is identified, which would help promote the understanding of biodiversity of genus Ochrobactrum.
