OBJECTIVE To investigate the reasonable use of antibacterial in department of orthopedics.METHODS The patients in our department were registered according to the inventory of antibacterial use made by the hospital infection monitoring network of Medical Administration Bureau,Ministry of Health of the People′s Republic of China, the(operative) incision was classified according to Clinical Surgery. The data of reasonable use of antibacterial were(obtained) after evaluation and(analysis).RESULTS Of the 257 patients in our study,79.37% of them were used antibacterial,20.62% were not used antibacterial,24.50% were used antibacterial for therapy,75.49% were used antibacterial for infection(prevention);95.09% were used systematically;74.50% were reasonable(usage,) 25.49% were unreasonable usage;of the 204 patients who were used antibacterial, only 34 patients were tested by drug sensitivity trial, and the others were used by experience.CONCLUSIONS In order to use antibacterial reasonably,we suggest two points, one is that the medicine management department should workout a feasible antibacterial use institution and mass(evaluation) criterion, take mass examination regurally, and connect the bonus to the examination result;the other is that we should enhance the management of antibacterial market, avoid the improper competition, rise the morality view of the doctor, and suggest them to use antibacterial reasonably(according) to the scientific theory.

The right or whole thorax of Wistar rat was irradiated with 60Co ?-ray including single exposure (10,30,50,70Gy) and fractional exposures(30, 60Gy). Animals from each group were sacrificed at 0.5,1,2,3,6,9,12 months after irradiation. Sections of lung were examined with light microscopy (LM), electron microscopy (EM), histochemistry and morphometry. The pulmonary changes could be divided into four phases: exudation, granulation, fibroplasia and collagenation. The four phases can exactly show the development piocess of irradiation interstitial pneumonitis. Type Ⅱ pneumocyte and mast cell may play a role in pulmonary fibrosis formation.

Human upper extremity is the most complex and flexible executor during the human movement, coordination analysis of the synergetic control principle of human upper extremity is of great significance in trajectory planning and real-time control of anthropopathy robots and intelligent prosthesis system. Most studies have only been performed within the last 10 years. This paper surveys the research in the structure characteristic and redundancy coordination principle of human upper extremity, and the developments of various prospects of anthropopathy robots, intelligent prosthesis, gymnastic science and rehabilitation evaluation are discussed.

Objective:To study the expression of P53, Bax, Bcl-2 proteins and the role of cell apoptosis in the formation and development of acute radiation-induced skin ulcers. Methods:A rat model which was locally irradiated with 60 Co γ-rays was used, and the pathological changes were observed for 40 days. Immunohistochemistry and TUNEL assay were performed which enabled the detection of P53, Bax, Bcl-2 and cell apoptosis during the formation and development of radiation skin ulcers. Results: Skin ulcers were found on day 14 after irradiation, and enlarged and deepened gradually during the observation period. P53 was over expressed during days 11 to 40 after irradiation and was localized in vascular endotheliocytes and smooth muscle cells. Bax was moderately positive during days 14 to 21 and weakly positive during days 28 to 35, and was localized in vascular endotheliocytes, some fibroblasts and proliferating keratinocytes. Bcl-2 was weakly positive during days 1 to 11 after irradiation, and was located in keratinocytes, hair follicular cells and some vascular endotheliocytes. Bcl-2 was negative during days 11 to 40.The rate of cell apoptosis, especially of vascular endotheliocytes, wash igher than that in the early process of normal wound healing. Conclusions:After irradiation, the increased expression of the apoptosis-inducing protein P53, Bax and the decreased expression of the apoptosis-inhibiting protein Bcl-2 might be associated with the high rate of apoptotic events, and play important roles in the formation and development of radiation skin ulcers.

Evaluation of human gait function is of great significance in clinical medicine and rehabilitation engineering. A quantitative gait evaluation method using principal component analysis was proposed. The evaluation steps included that a series of characteristic index was performed by the gait parameters with a gait detection, and the index was normalized, quantified and summarized by principal component analysis. Then the evaluation results were shown in formulation, figures and tables. The examples showed that this system could evaluate the recovery of the gait by treatment.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2006;23(1):69-73
A dynamics model of human lower extremity, which combines musculotendon dynamics and muscle excitation-contraction dynamics, is presented. With this model, a motion process of normal gait during swing phase is numerically analyzed by use of the optimal control theory. The model was verified using experimental kinematics, muscles activation, and electromyographic data. The result showed that the tri-phasic activation pattern and synergistic muscles displayed during a normal gait in swing phase. The pattern consists of three distinct phases, i. e., acceleration during moving initiation, braking the moving segment, and posture control at the final specified position.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2006;23(4):903-906
Ligaments are the main parts which stabilize the knee joint. How to analog the ligaments in biomechanical model will affect the characteristics of the human knee dynamics and in the computation of the stress in ligaments between two bones. This symposium is aimed at the survey of the simplified method of the ligaments via mechanical parameters, and providing an exact method of constructing model.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2005;22(5):910-913
In order to discuss the evaluation method of human upper limb movements, the patterns of movement coordination during healthy people prehension have been researched. Eight subjects were asked to perform different reaching-grasping and drinking water from the cup tasks with different indices of difficulty, and the arm movement trajectories and the main muscles group electromyography (EMG) data were collected. To explore the prehension control mechanism, a comparison has been made between the solution of the theoretic calculation and the experimental data. The results show that the topological invariance was observed in the trajectories of different task performance, and the linear relationships between joints covariation were exhibited. Moreover, the different muscles were controlled and combined into units of synergistic muscular group necessary to reach and grasp the goal.

In order to express PebC1 in Pichia pastoris, the pebC1 sequence was amplified from genome Botrytis cinerea BC-4-2-2-1 by PCR and subcloned into the Pichua pastoris expression vector pPIC9K to generate pPIC9K-pebC1. The recombinant plasmid was linearized by Bgl II and transformed into Pichia pastoris GS115 by electroporation. Recombinant Pichia pastoris GS115/pPIC9K-pebC1 was screened by MD and G418-YPD plates and further confirmed by PCR. The protein expression was induced by methanol and analyzed by SDS-PAGE. SDS-PAGE analysis showed a special band about 39 kDa and western blotting indicated a good antigenicity of the expressed protein. Bioassay results showed that the recombinant protein PebC1 can induce resistance to gray mould disease of cucumber and Arabidopsi thaliana.
