Hypoxia-induced factors(HIFs)are the main regula-tors for the response of hypoxic environment. They are involved in hypoxia-related lung tissue cell damage and abnormal cell pro-liferation,among which,HIF-1αand HIF-2αplay the most im-prominant roles. This paper reviews the current researches of HIF-1αand HIF-2α,focusing on their structural and functional similarities and diversities,as well as their roles in the patho-genesis of hypoxic pulmonary hypertension.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2002;0(10):-
Objective:To compare the sleep behaviors and the coping styles between chronic insomniacs and normal sleepers. Methods:The self-made questionnaire of sleep behaviors (including the irrational beliefs and attitudes toward sleep, the dysfunctional sleep behaviors and anxiety on evening),the coping styles and the internal-external locus of control(I-E) score were administered to 62 chronic insomniacs and 62 normal sleeper matched by age and sex. Results:The irrational beliefs and attitudes toward sleep, the dysfunctional sleep behaviors, the anxiety on evening, and the scores of I-E and of the self-blame in coping style were higher in the chronic insomniacs than in normal controls. The scores of problem-solving of the chronic insomniacs were lower than that of the normal controls. Regression analysis indicated the irrational beliefs about sleep and the dysfunctional sleep behaviors were associated with problem-solving and I-E scores. Conclusions:Chronic insomnia group has irrational beliefs and attitudes toward sleep, they have more dysfunctional sleep behaviors and higher anxiety on evening. Their ability of problem-solving is impaired and they incline to attribute their fate to external control.

Objective To establish the HPLC fingerprint of Eupatorium chinense. Methods The ana-lysis was performed on a Kromasil C18 column(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) with acetonitrile-water as mobile phase in a gradient mode. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min.The column temperature was 25 ℃ and the detection wavelength was 230 nm.Results The fingerprint of E.chinense with common 13 peaks was established. The relative retention time and the ranges of relative area of the common peaks were determined. Conclusion The established fingerprint could be used for the quality control of E.chinense.

Purpose To explore the value of spectral CT imaging in differentiating pancreatic carcinoma and mass-forming pancreatitis, and to improve the preoperative diagnosis accuracy. Materials and Methods The dual-phase spectral CT imaging data in patients with pathology-proven pancreatic carcinoma (n=62) and mass-forming pancreatitis (n=30) were retrospectively analyzed. At 40-140 keV (with 10 keV increment), the mean CT values, energy spectrum curves and iodine concentrations were measured and compared between pancreatic carcinoma and mass-forming pancreatitis in arterial phase and portal venous phase. Results The mean CT values of mass-forming pancreatitis at 40-140 keV were higher than pancreatic carcinoma in both arterial phase and portal venous phase with significant difference (t= -7.349- -4.810, P<0.05; t= -6.760- -5.496, P<0.05). The energy spectrum curves were significantly different between pancreatic carcinoma and mass-forming focal pancreatitis, especially at 40-70 keV. The iodine concentrations of pancreatic carcinoma were lower than mass-forming pancreatitis in arterial phase and portal venous phase with significant difference (t=-28.577, P<0.05; t= -28.451, P<0.05). Conclusion Pancreatic carcinoma and mass-forming pancreatitis can be differentiated by measuring the CT value at different energies, energy spectrum curves and iodine concentrations.

Objective To assess the aorta elastic properties in the procession of atherosclerosis by ultra‐high frequency ultrasound ,and to detect the relationship between the aorta elastic properties and the atherosclerotic plaque burden .Methods Mice deficient for the apolipoprotein E (ApoE‐/‐) with high‐cholestrol diet were studied as an age‐dependent model of atherosclerosis .At 8 ,16 ,24 and 32 weeks of age , the blood pressure in the ascending aorta was measured by catheter ,and the aorta mechanical properties were assessed by measuring aortic elastic modulus of the ascending aorta with ultra‐high frequency ultrasound .The plaque burden was assessed by high‐frequency ultrasound and Masson′s trichrome stain , separately .Results Vessel thickness at the lesion‐prone sites of the lesser curvature of the aorta and the proximal brachiocephalic artery increased with age ,consistent with the Masson′s trichrome staining which showed age‐dependent worsening of atherosclerosis in the mice model .Elastic modulus of the aorta significantly increased from 8 to 32 weeks of age in E‐/‐mice .There was a statistically difference between any two groups .Conclusions With the progression of atherosclerosis and the increased plaque burden ,aorta mechanical properties deteriorated in Apo E‐/‐mice .Ultra‐high frequency ultrasound was a potential tool for assessment of plaque burden and aorta mechanical properties in mouse model .

Objective To observe the effects of Radix Angelica Sinensis ( RAS) on depression be-havior and cytokines,TNF-αand IL-6,in the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of depression model rats in-duced by chronic unpredictable mild stress ( CUMS) .Methods 32 adult male rats weighting 140-160 g were randomly divided into 4 groups: Control,CUMS,CUMS+fluoxetine and CUMS+RAS groups.CUMS procedure went on 5 consecutive weeks and during the last 3 weeks the rats in CUMS+fluoxetine and CUMS+RAS groups were taken RAS or fluoxetine via intragastric administration. After 5-week CUMS procedure, rats were subjected to sucrose preference test, forced swimming test and open field test. After behavioral tests were finished, all rats were anesthetized with 10%chloral hydrate (350 mg/kg,intraperitoneal injection) and then decapitated. The hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of rats were separated and ELISA was used to detect the expression of TNF-αand IL-6 in these regions. Results Comparing with control rats, rats exposed to CUMS showed decreased sucrose preference ratio((42±15)%),prolonged immobility time ((68.28±16.50) s),decreased crossing numbers (31.25±21.56) and increased TNF-α((206.14±30.53)pg/ml) and IL-6 ((369.51±103.81)pg/ml) expression in hippocampus and TNF-α((199.33±25.67)pg/ml) and IL-6 ((347.74±81.04) pg/ml) expression in prefrontal cortex ( P<0.01).However,RAS treated rats reversed the behavioral changes such as sucrose preference ratio((66±21)%),immobility time ((32.53±10.26)s) and crossing numbers ( 83.00 ±23.25 ) , meanwhile reduced TNF-α( ( 53.42 ±12.43 ) pg/ml ) and IL-6 ((93.84±13.19)pg/ml) expression in hippocampus,TNF-α((57.58±8.33)pg/ml) and IL-6((91.18± 17.37) pg/ml) expression in prefrontal cortex among stress rats ( P<0.01) .Conclusion RAS can amelio-rate CUMS induced depression behaviors of rats through regulating hippocampus and prefrontal cortex cyto-kines ( TNF-α,IL-6) .

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2009;25(4):595-597
Full ceramic prosthesis is becoming the main prosthetic development direction. As an important kind of full ceramic prosthesis, full ceramic veneer has not only natural cosmetic appearance and perfect biocompatibility, but also can preserve tooth structure as much as possible, which would be more easily accepted by patients for cosmetic prosthesis. Many methods, such as slip casting, die casting and CAD/CAM technology are available to make full ceramic veneer. All the methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. Slip casting is easy to be developed widely with low cost, so be used in practical work. In this article, the working process of full ceramic veneer, especially manufacture of removable dies, duplication of refractory models, were introduced, which was supposed to be beneficial for the technicians.
