Objective To investigate the effects of micro alcohol on serum enzymes in vitro and vitro Methods Serum alcohol and ALT?AST?GGT?ALP?CK?LDH?AMY?LIPA activities were measured before and after alcohol consuming (1 ml/kg) in 14 volunteers Meanwhile, the direct inhibitory effects of alcohol on the serum enzymes were studied by comparing the serum enzyme activities with or without alcohol Results Alcohol consuming could depress the serum AST activity from (24 04?3 66) U/L to (22 25?3 27) U/L and LIPA activities from (155 86?93 51) U/L to (128 35?84 85) U/L, whereas increase the other serum enzyme activities, but only serum AMY were found statistic difference [from (48 78?10 66) U/L to (55 50?12 60) U/L] The inhibitory effects of alcohol on all the measured enzymes were found in vitro studies Conclusions Alcohol could obvious influence the serum enzyme activities both in vivo and vitro Avoiding the contamination of alcohol during sample collection and routine laboratory work is necessary

Exhausted CD8 + T cells (CD8 + Tex) are a distinct subpopulation formed from naive CD8 + T cells under conditions of sustained high antigen stimulation. Initially, naive CD8 + T cells can differentiate into functional cytotoxic cells and exert anti-infective and anti-tumor effects upon short-term antigen stimulation. However, sustained high antigen stimulation will make effector CD8 + T cells progressively differentiate into terminally CD8 + Tex cells and irreversibly lose effector function. Unlike memory and effector T cells, CD8 + Tex cells have a unique transcriptional program. Numerous studies are attempting to map a detailed differentiation landscape of CD8 + Tex cell subsets, aiming to maximize the number of effector T cells in the future by targeting individual subsets or individual differentiation stages in CD8 + Tex cells without damaging the effector cells. This article reviewed the progress in CD8 + Tex cells from the aspects of transcriptional dysregulation, metabolic reprogramming, subpopulation typing and clinical application, aiming to provide more CD8 + T cell-based therapeutic strategies for tumor.

Objective A high sodium(HS)diet is believed to affect bone metabolism processes.Clarifying its impact on osseointegration of titanium(Ti)implants holds significant implications for postoperative dietary management of implanted patients. Methods This investigation probed the impact of sodium ions(Na+)on neovascularization and osteogenesis around Ti implants in vivo, utilizing micro-computed tomography, hematoxylin and eosin staining, and immunohistochemical analyses.Concurrently,in vitro experiments assessed the effects of varied Na+concentrations and exposure durations on human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)and MC3T3-E1 cells. Results In vivo, increased dietary sodium(0.8%-6.0%)led to a substantial decline in CD34 positive HUVECs and new bone formation around Ti implants, alongside an increase in inflammatory cells. In vitro,an increase in Na+concentration(140-150 mmol/L)adversely affected the proliferation, angiogenesis, and migration of HUVECs,especially with prolonged exposure. While MC3T3-E1 cells initially exhibited less susceptibility to high Na+concentrations compared to HUVECs during short-term exposure, prolonged exposure to a HS environment progressively diminished their proliferation, differentiation, and osteogenic capabilities. Conclusion These findings suggest that HS diet had a negative effect on the early osseointegration of Ti implants by interfering with the process of postoperative vascularized bone regeneration.

Objective :
To compare and analyze the effects of thermal etching on the shear strength of zirconia substrates and decorative ceramics.
Methods:
A total of 20 specimens made with zirconia ceramics were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group with 10 cases in each group. The control group was treated with sandblasting, while the observation group was treated with sandblasting and thermal etching. The surface characteristics were examined by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and phase analysis of X-ray diffraction (XRD), and the shear strength was tested using a universal testing machine. The characteristics of surface destruction were examined by SEM.
Results :
SEM showed that the peak structure was observed in both groups. The observation group exhibited deep fissures, and the control group exhibited small fissures. The diffraction peaks of the two groups are similar. The T (101) peak is the main peak, and both groups exhibit an M (111) peak. However, the peak intensity is relatively small. The relative levels of monoclinic zirconia were 15.16% in the observation group and 16.22% in the control group. The shear bond strength of the observation group was 24.74 ± 3.02 MPa, which was significantly higher than that of the control group at 21.09 ± 2.58 MPa. The difference was statistically significant (t=2.599, P=0.021). In the control group, the porcelain residue on the zirconia surface was minimal at low magnification, and the zirconia substrate was obviously exposed. The zirconia surface was similar to cristae obliqua at high magnification, and the porcelain exhibited a scattered distribution. In the observation group, a large amount of residual veneer porcelain remained on the zirconia surface at low magnification, but considerable porcelain was observed at high magnification.
Conclusion
Thermal etching and sandblasting treatment can improve the shear strength of zirconia substrate.

Objective:By building a patient safety oriented nursing-sensitive indicator system, this study aimed to help clinical evaluation and nursing for patients in prone position, to constantly optimize management of prone position and promote patient safety. Methods:First drew up initial indicators through literature search and personal interviews, then modified and finally formed the prone position nursing indicators within two rounds of experts consultation. Verified the indicators by evaluating nursing staff satisfaction after half-year′s implementation. Results:Finally, the indicator system included 9 first level, 13 second level and 71 third level indicators. The reliability of experts and the satisfaction of nurses were both high. Conclusions:With the purpose of patient safety, the nursing indicator system of prone position ventilation for critically ill patients are comprehensively covered ever aspect of key component. Specific effect needs to be further verified in the hospital management practice.
