1.Studies on the Heterogeneity of Antigen-Presenting Cells. Establishment of T cell Hybridomas specific for Different Antigen-Presenting Cells.
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(06):-
A series of alloreactive T hybridomas were obtained using fusion between BW147 and C3H/HeN T cell lymphoblasts, which were prepared by stimulating With lpsactivatedBalb/c B cells Six of the total 89 hybridomas tested have been shown to respond selectively to LPS-activated B cells, but not spleen adherent cells, macrophage tumor line and Ia-transfected fibroblasts. The results indicated: 1) Different Antigen-Presenting Cells could selectively stimulate the allogeneic responses of distinctive clonal T cells; 2) The specific stimulating effects may either due to the structural differences among the Ir-genes of different cell types, or the same gene produce(s), which may form different molecular complexes on the membrane surfaces of different cell types, lead to their functional specificities.
2.Establishment of the mouse B cell mitogenic-and co-mitogenic monoclonal antibodies
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1986;0(04):-
Sibirian hamster was immunized with mouse B myeloma cell(A20)lysate,and the im-munized spleen cells were fused with mouse myeloma cell line X63Ag8653.Four mono-clonal antibodies were thus obtained. While two(4B4 and 3C11)antibodies were shown to have strong direct mitogenic ac-tivity on mouse spleen B cells, all 4 antibodies could have synergistic effect in coope-rate with suboptimal doses of LPS to activate B cells. The mitogenic activity is ac-cessory cell independent.Four different surface molecules,as judged by both immuno-precipitating and binding assay, were compared. And the usefulness of these antibodiesin studying B cell activation and their functions were discussed.
3.STUDIES ON THE ROLE OF SUPPRESSOR T CELL IN RESISTANCE TO EXPERIMENTAL AUTOIMMUNE ENCEPHALITOMYELITIS
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(02):-
In order to test whether suppressor T cells are the responsible cell com-ponent in the induced resistance of Lewis rat against reinduction of Exp-erimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis(EAE)or not, attempts have beenmade to enrich a T cell population, which were functionally antagonistic tothe encephalitogenic activity of the EAE-inducing autoaggressive T cells,Lewis rats were passively induced for acute EaE by intravenous injectionof encephalitogenic,Myelin Basic Protein(MBP)-specific T line cell(S1cell). Nylon-wool-enriched spleen T cells recovered from animals passivelyinduced EAE,were cultured in vitro with irradiated encephalitogenic Tcells(S1)in the absence of antigen. The selective growth of T cell popula-tion with the phenotype of CD8 were found in the cultures.Functional ch-aracteristics of this cell population were studied both in vivo and in vitro. Thus, the S1-stimulated cells(Anti-S1 cells)are able to suppress both theantigen-and Con A-induced T cell proliferation of the antigenspecificT cell series.Studies on the in vivo activities of the Anti-Si cells couldhave shown that, pretreatment or posttreatment of the normal Lewis reci-pients with isolated Anti-Si cells are able to abolish or prevent thedisease-inducing activity of autoaggressive T cells.
4.Research advances of MUC4
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(1):23-26
MUC4,a member of transmembrane matin family,is expressed in many kinds of tissues, organs and secretions. In addition, aberrant expression of MUC4 has been reported in a variety of carcinomas.MUC4 is a kind of multi-function proteins, and is related to the growth, invasion and metastasis of tumors. All of these features of MUG4 strongly support its role as a potential candidate for diagnosis and therapy of carcinoma.
5.Origin of Zhejiang Medicine in Early Qin Era
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(06):-
In early Qin era,Zhejiang people engaged on medical health care undertakings;Hemudu Site finds out the herbal fossil, such as Gorgon, and healthy dry-column structural architecture relics;people of that time used simple medical machinery for diseases, the TCM cans for decoction and healthy tools for food,e.g.loop,mined well, buried dead body, had "Rescord of Tongjun Taking Herbs",Yue King paid attention to population development and people weal and woe;all display the brilliant history of Zhejiang medical origin in early Qin era from different sides.

Objective To explore new therapy method to reduce relapse of genital herpes(GH) with laser. Methods 550 cases GH treated with Laser were randomly derided into 11 different groups(each group 50 cases: group A(A.T.GH.Q),B(B.TGH.Q),C(C.T.GH.Q),D(D.TGH.Q),E(E.T.GH.Q),F(F.TGH.Q),G(G.T.GH.Q),H(H.T.GH.Q),I(I.T.GH.Q),J(J.T.GH.Q) and K group(K.T.GH.Q).All of cases started with 2~8 years of follow-up after clinical short-term being cured. Results Cure rate were: A 24%,B 22%,C 32%,D 30%,E 36%,F 448%,G 42%,H 48%,I 60%,J 58%,K 18%.Conclusion GH treated by Laser auompanied by drug has good and ideal long-term effectiveness, worthwhile for further study and popularized clinical application.
7.Laparoscopic procedures for adnexal cyst torsion in pregnant women:An analysis of 12 cases
Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(06):-
Objective To evaluate the feasibility of laparoscopic procedures in pregnant women. Methods A retrospective analysis was made on 12 pregnant women with an acute abdominal emergency resulted from adnexal mass from 1997 to 2002.Results All the 12 patients were laparoscopically diagnosed as having pregnancy associated with torsion or necrosis of adnexal mass. There were 2 cases of unwinding of the twisted fallopian tube and oophorocystectomy, 3 cases of oophorocystectomy, and 7 cases of adnexectomy. All the patients were cured. No miscarriage or infant malformation happened. Follow-up for 8~12 months in 11 infants revealed normal development. Conclusions In pregnant patients the laparoscopic procedure is relatively contraindicated. Satisfactory curative effects can be obtained if the patients are properly selected.
8.Major problems CAOS is facing
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2004;0(07):-
Rapid progress has been made in computer assisted orthopedic surgery (CAOS) in the last decade. It has been clinically used in nearly every domain of orthopedic surgery. Its clinical benefits are no longer questioned. Because of limitations of devices and technology, CAOS is now facing the following problems today: First, there have been no generally accepted standards for the equipment, operative procedures or evaluation of the results. Secondly, there have been many potential pitfalls due to incorrect use of the devices and incorrect navigational feedbacks. Thirdly, the devices are expensive and the techniques of CAOS are still faulty. To be aware of the problems helps us to understand the technology thoroughly and reduce financial losses and clinical risks in application. Orthopedists should not rush to apply this technology in their operation rooms with no regard of their particular conditions.

10.Accumulation and Movement of Heavy Metals in the Environment Through Sewage Sludge Using in Agriculture
Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
Objective To know the accumulation and movement of heavy metals in the environment through sewage sluge using in agriculture. Methods The sewage sludge samples were collected from sewage treatment farms of Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou in the different seasons of 1998. The content and states of heavy metals were determined by AAS. The accumulation and movement of heavy metals were analyzed as sewage sludge was used in agriculture. Results The content of heavy metals in the sewage sludge was greatly higher than that in the soil background. Especially, the contents of zinc in the sewage sludge in three cities exceeded the related standard, the means were 1 199.00, 784.00 and 1 216.00 mg/kg respectively. A long term using of sewage sludge might induce heavy metal accumulation in the soil. Conclusion Sewage sludge used in agriculture may induce heavy metal accumulation in the soil and the organisms, so the risk of environmental heavy metals accumulation may increase.
