This paper deals with the ultrastructure of the body wall of adult Pagumogonimus skrjabini by transmission electron microscopy. Infected crabs were collected from Siyen, Hubei Provine, and adult worms were obtained from the lungs of experimentally infected dogs 90 days post-infection.The normal structure of body wall of the P. skrjabini is composed of tegument, tegument cell, musele, muscle cell and protoplasmic tubules, all of which form together syncytium. The tegument contains external plasma membrane, tegument matrix and basal plasma membrane. The cell coat in fine granules is distributed over the whole external plasma membrane surface. The tegument matrix contains various secretory bodies, vesicles and mitochondria. The tegument cell is irregular in shape. Golgi complex, ribosome, autoly-sosome are seen in the cytoplasm. There are two layers of muscle, the external circular muscle and the inner longitudinal muscle layers. The nucleus of immature muscle cell has many heterochromatins, while the nucleus of mature muscle cell is large and round in shaps. Mitochondria and glyco-gen granules are transmitted from muscle cell proper to the muscle by protoplasmic tubules (Figs. 1-7).

Objective To discuss the effects of implants of different thread face angles on the primary stability of immediately loaded implant using the 3-dimensional finite element analysis with the models of the immediately loaded implants. Methods Using the commercial code of Pro/E software, Hypermesh software, and ABAQUS software we created 3-dimensional finite element models. The micromotions of the finite element models with different screw face angles (V-shape, buttress, square-shape and inverse buttress) were computed with the ABAQUS software. Results Concerning different thread face angles, the micromotion of buttress implant was the minimum and the micromotion of inverse buttress implant was the maximum with vertically loading; the micromotion of inverse buttress implant was the minimum and the micromotion of buttress implant was the maximum with horizontal loading. Conclusions Different screw-types have great influence on vertical interfacial micromotions but little influence on horizontal interfacial micromotions. There are two angles which are formed by top /bottom edge and the implants. The larger are the angles, the smaller are the vertical interfacial micromotions, but the weaker of the strength. Thus in designing the screw-type implants, we should consider the angles of thread faces and the strength.

[Objective]This study was designed to discover the expression of histamine H4 receptor in allergic rhinitis(AR)and its clinical significance.[Methods]Seventy-three patients with allergic rhinitis and 30 volunteers were recruited in our study.Western blot and Real-time fluorescent quantification PCR were used to detect the protein and mRNA expression of H4R on peripheral blood monocytes(PBMC).To analyze the relationship between the H4R and allergic rhinitis, the level of serum interleukin 4(IL-4)and interleukin 12(IL-12)were determined by enzyme linked immunosorbnent assay(ELISA)in the AR group.[Results]The protein and mRNA expression of H4R in the AR group were significantly higher than that in the NAR group.Person correlation analysis revealed that H4R was positively correlated with IL-4(r=0.71,P<0.01)and negatively correlated with IL-12(r=-0.50,P<0.01).The expression of H4R also had positive relationship with IL-4/IL-12 ratio(r=0.75,P<0.01).[Conclusion]These results indicate that histamine H4 receptor is closely related with allergic rhinitis and is important in the pathogenesis of AR.The elevated expression of H4R in AR patients' PBMC may be closely correlated with Th1/Th2 balance.

A strain, Escherichia coli AC-521, which could efficiently covert glycerol to lactic acid, was isolated from soil samples. A series of morphological and biochemical characteristics and sequence analysis of 16S rDNA reveal that it belongs to Escherichia coli. Through orthogonal experiment of L16(45), the optimum medium compositions were determined as initial glycerol 70 g/L, yeast extract 4 g/L, peptone 7 g/L, (NH4)2SO4 10 g/L, and K2HPO4 2.5 g/L. The 5 L fermenter fed-batch fermentation was performed under optimal conditions, giving 74.5 g/L lactic acid with a yield of 0.87 mol/mol glycerol after 80 hours.

Objective To determine the diagnostic value of endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration ( EUS-FNA ) for gastrointestinal lesions with inconclusive endoscopic biopsies. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed in 65 patients who were found to have gastrointestinal lesions with inconclusive endoscopic biopsies and underwent EUS-FNA in Drum Tower Hospital. Diagnostic value of EUS-FNA was determined by comparing with surgical histopathology and follow-up results. Results This study included 41 males ( 63%) and 24 females ( 37%) with median age of 60 years. The most common lesion was diffuse infiltrative lesions ( 37, 56. 9%) , followed by submucosal protrusion types ( 17, 26. 2%) . Fifty-four cases ( 83. 1%) were malignant lesions, and 11 cases ( 16. 9%) were benign. The overall sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of EUS-FNA for gastrointestinal lesions with inconclusive biopsies were 76. 8% ( 95%CI: 65. 7%-87. 8%) , 100. 0% ( 95%CI: 66. 4%-100. 0%) , and 80. 0%( 95%CI: 70. 3%-89. 7%) , respectively. Sub-group analysis showed the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of EUS-FNA for diffuse infiltrative lesions were 70. 6% ( 95%CI: 55. 3%-85. 9%, 100. 0%( 95%CI:29. 2%-100. 0%) , and 73. 0% ( 95%CI: 58. 7%-87. 3%) , respectively. For submucosal protrusions, the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of EUS-FNA were 68. 8% ( 95%CI: 46. 0% -91. 5%) , 100. 0% ( 95%CI: 2. 5%-100. 0%) , and 70. 6% ( 95%CI: 44. 0%-89. 7%) , respectively. Conclusion EUS-FNA has moderate diagnostic value for endoscopic biopsy-inconclusive gastrointestinal lesions. It can be an alternative option when standard methods, such as endoscopic mucosal forceps biopsy, fail to provide a definitive diagnosis.

Objective:To explore the differences of microenviroment between peri-implant tissue and oral mucosal tissue. Methods:The gene chip data GSE43744 was downloaded from the GEO database, bioinformatics tools were used to analyze the differentially ex-pressed genes between the peri-implant tissue and normal oral mucosal tissue in rat.Results:1315 differentially expressed important genes, including 797 upregulated genes and 518 downregulated genes, were screened out.Gene enrichment analysis showed that com-pared with normal oral mucosal tissue, the gene expression of innate immune activity, cell activation, inflammatory response, and func-tional expression related to external and bacterial stimuli in peri-implant tissue were significantly upregulated, while that of extracellular matrix tissue, adhesion, extracellular matrix polysaccharides, response to mechanical stimuli and response to toxic substances was sig-nificantly downregulated.Meanwhile, multiple molecular functions and biological pathways related to T cells were highly expressed, which may play an important role in the peri-implant microenvironment. In addition,PPI network was constructed, and screened 7 core genes including FCER1G,TYROBP,PTPRC,ITGB2,AIF1,EMR1 and RAC2,which may be target genes for studying peri-implant microenvironment. Conclusion:There is a significant difference of microenvironment characteristics between peri-implant tissue and o-ral mucosa. The target genes screened using PPI network may be the key to future research on the peri-implant microenvironment.
