Objective To find the normal range and features for auditory brainstem responses(ABR)of infants within six months,and the basic parameters for identifying the hearing impaired infants.Methods May 2006 to May 2008,60 normal infants and 20 normal adults received the ABR tests.The infants were divided into three groups:group A(6 weeks),group B(3 months)and group C(6 months).Each group consisted of 20 infants(40 ears)and the ABR data were statistically analyzed.Results At 100 dB nHL,the waveⅠ,Ⅲ,Ⅴ latencies of ABR for 6-week infants respectively were 1.49?0.08 ms,4.42?0.16 ms and 6.61?0.25 ms,for 3-month infants,1.47?0.07 ms,4.35?0.20 ms and 6.50?0.25 ms,for 6-month infants,1.45?0.07 ms,4.17?0.15 ms and 6.32?0.22 ms.At 80 dB nHL,the waveⅠ,Ⅲ,Ⅴ latencies of ABR for 6-week infants were 1.63?0.08 ms,4.52?0.17 ms and 6.74?0.26 ms,respectively,for 3-month infants,1.64?0.11 ms,4.44?0.20 ms and 6.67?0.26 ms,for 6-month infants,1.60?0.11 ms,4.27?0.16 ms and 6.43?0.24 ms.As the intensity of stimulating signals decreased,the peak latency of ABR became more delayed.The peak latencies of Ⅲ,Ⅴ waves and interval peak latencies of Ⅰ-Ⅲ and-Ⅴ waves for the infants were more delayed than those for adults,and became shorter with the increase of the infants' ages,but they failed to reach adults' levels even for 6-month infants.However,the length of wave Ⅰ of ABR for infants of different months was close to that for adults.The thresholds of ABR for the infants of different ages were not significantly different,all being close to the values for adults.Conclusion This study has analyzed the ABR wave features for the infants of three ages and this can help to define the reference ranges for the infants and to provide the parameters for early diagnosis of hearing loss among the infants.

Objective To investigate the expression of a novel imprinted gene,PEG10,in human gastric adenocarcinoma,and the effect of PEG10 on cell growth and proliferation of gastric cancer cells.Methods The PEG10 mRNA expressions in 40 human gastric adenocarcinoma,the corresponding adjacent normal tissues and 6 nomal gastric tissues were detected by RT-PCR.The expression vectors of PEG10 were constructed and transfected into gastric cancer cell line MKN45 which had no endogenetic PEG10 expression.Cell growth ability was measured by MTT assay.Results High PEG10 mRNA expression level was detected in 9 of 20(45.0%) human gastric adenocarcinoma which was significantly higher than those of the matched normal tissues(10.0%)(P

BACKGROUND: Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring can sensitively and objectively reflect blood pressure level, which is closely related to target organ damage and disease prognosis. In hypertension, vascular endothelial damage is the most common lesion to target organs. There is little known about how ambulatory pulse pressure correlates to large artery elasticity and vascular endothelial function. OBJECTIVE: To investigate changes of large artery elasticity and of vascular endothelial function in patients with primary hypertension using an automatic pulse wave velocity determinator and ultrasound techniques, and to analyze the correlation of ambulatory pulse pressure to large artery elasticity and vascular endothelial function.DESIGN: A non-randomized concurrent control clinical observation. SETTING: Diagnosis and Treatment Center for Coronary Heart Disease, the 305 Hospital of Chinese PLA. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 156 inpatients and/or outpatients, who were recently confirmed with primary hypertension, were recruited for this study between June 2005 and April 2007. Patients consisted of 114 males and 42 females. All patients averaged 56 ± 4 years of age (range: 40-75). Inclusive criteria: Corresponding to diagnostic standards for preventing and treating hypertension instituted in 2004 by Chinese scholars. Confirmed as primary hypertension within 1 month. Not receiving any blood pressure lowering, hypolipidemic or nitrate-like drug treatments. Written informed consents for laboratory measurements were obtained from all subjects. The study was approved by the hospital's Ethics Committee. METHODS: According to the mean pulse pressure over 24 hours, all patients were assigned into 3 groups: Group A (mean pulse pressure ＜ 40 mm Hg, n=92), group B (40 mm Hg ≤ mean pulse pressure ＜ 60 mm Hg, n=39) and group C (mean pulse pressure ＞ 60 mm Hg, n=25). In each group, daytime pulse pressure and night-time pulse pressure, as well as 24-hour mean pulse pressure were measured using a non-invasive portable ambulatory blood pressure monitor (ABPM-04, Meditech Inc, USA). Carotid-femoral and carotid-radial arterial pulse wave velocities were measured using an automatic pulse wave velocity determinator to evaluate large artery dilation. Blood flow mediated and nitroglycerin-dependent dilatation of the brachial artery was determined using a high-resolution ultrasound technique to evaluate vascular endothelial function. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Correlations of ambulatory pulse pressure to large artery dilation and arterial endothelial function. RESULTS: All 156 patients were included in the final analysis. Correlation of ambulatory pulse pressure to large artery dilation: Carotid-femoral arterial pulse wave velocity was significantly positively correlated to daytime pulse pressure, night-time pulse pressure and 24-hour mean pulse pressure, with coefficient of partial correlation being 0.310, 0.281 and 0.303, respectively, P ＜ 0.01). There were no significant correlations of carotid-radial arterial pulse wave velocity to daytime pulse pressure, night-time pulse pressure or 24-hour pulse pressure (P ＞ 0.05). Correlation of ambulatory pulse pressure to arterial endothelial function: There was a linear relationship between ambulatory pulse pressure and blood flow-mediated blood vessel dilatation values. Linear correlation analysis was performed, taking ambulatory pulse pressure as an independent variable, and endothelial-dependent dilatation as a dependent variable. Results demonstrated that blood flow-mediated blood vessel dilatation was significantly negatively correlated to daytime pulse pressure, night-time pulse pressure and 24- hour mean pulse pressure (r = -0.684, -0.597, -0.668, P ＜ 0.01). There was no correlation of ambulatory pulse pressure to non-endothelial-dependent blood vessel dilatation. CONCLUSION: Ambulatory pulse pressure increase is closely related to large artery elasticity decrease and injury to endothelial function in patients with primary hypertension.

Objective:To investigate the efficacy and the clinical value of magnetic resonance elastography(MRE) in diagnosis of hepatic fibrosis with Meta-analysis, and to provide basis for clinical treatment of hepatic fibrosis.Methods:The studies published before February 2, 2017 about MRE and staging of hepatic fibrosis in Chinese or English were retrived in the databases including PubMed, EMBase, Web of Science, Cochrane Library,CNKI, CBMDisc,VIP, Wanfang data, and supplemented by manual retrieval for relevant literatures.The inclusion and exclusion criterions were used to select and extract the literatures.The literatures qualitie were valuated based on QUADAS-2 tool.The sensitivity(SEN), specificity (SPE), diagnostic odds ratio (DOR), positive likelihood ratio (+LR), negative likelihood ratio (-LR) on the groups of F0 vs F1-F4,F0-F1 vs F2-F4,F0-F2 vs F3-F4, F0-F3 vs F4 and heterogeneity were combined and tested with Stata software respectively.HSROC and AUROC were also implemented.Results:A total of 1 332 studies were searched, and 22 were included.21 of them were in English and 1 in Chinese.The results of Meta analysis showed that the SENp, SPEp, +LRp,-LRp, DOR and AUROC in F0 vs F1-F4 group were 88.8%(85.0-91.7),95.9%(91.5-98.0),21.435(10.215-44.979),0.117(0.086-0.159),183.187(72.533-462.650) and 0.96(0.94-0.98) ,respectively;the SENp, SPEp, +LRp,-LRp, DOR and AUROC in F0-F1 vs F2-F4 group were 93.3%(89.2%-35.9%), 94.1%(90.2%-96.5%),15.839(9.344-26.848),0.072(0.044-0.117),221.224(100.980-484.648) and 0.98(0.96-0.99),respectively;the SENp, SPEp, +LRp, -LRp, DOR and AUROC in F0-F2 vs F3-F4 group were 92.9%(88.9%-95.5%),94.6%(91.2%-96.8%),17.348(10.496-28.671),0.075(0.048-0.119),230.434(111.482-476.317)0.98(0.96-0.99), respectively;the SENp, SPEp, +LRp,-LRp, DOR and AUROC in F0-F3 vs F4 group were 97.7%(93.0%-99.3%),93.2%(90.3%-95.2%),14.337(9.910-20.742),0.025(0.008-0.075),580.405(144.871-2325.307) and 0.98(0.96-0.99),respectively.Conclusion:MRE,as a new and noninvasive imaging method, has high diagnostic value in all stages of hepatic fibrosis, which can provide a reliable reference for clinical precise treatment of hepatic fibrosis.

Objective To observe the clinical effects of pulsed radiofrequency combined with acupuncture and traction on nerve-roottype cervical spondylopathy. Methods 62 patients with nerve-root type cervical spondylopathy were divided into treatment group (n=31),whom were treated with pulsed radiofrequency combined with acupuncture and traction, and the control group (n=31) only with acupunctureand traction. Results The incidence of effect was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.01). ConclusionCombining with pulsed radiofrequency is more effective on nerve-root type cervical spondylopathy than acupuncture and traction only.

Objective To design and develop a Information System for Medical Center of Clinical Audiology , (MCCAIS301 ) .Methods The system framework was established by developing software ,constructing user platform and creating database .An implication procedure was also established for clinical use for the MCCA IS301 .The MC-CAIS301 was connected with the Hospital Information System (HIS) in order to connect the equipment in the auditory clinical center and other clinical database system .Results The MCCAIS301 was a new database system for hospital in-formation management specifically designed for audiological tests .It provided an extra functions of the existing HIS system .The MCCAIS301 could store the testing results from more than ten different hearing instruments made from five different companies .The data from the MCCAIS301 could be transferred to the HIS system .The results of the MCCAIS301 could be retrieved and analyzed using the HIS system .MCCAIS301 system had nine sets of standardized hearing testing results ,five output formats and three statistical analyzing functions .Conclusion The MCCAIS301 is an effective information management system which has a strong practical use to improve the efficiency of daily audiology data analysis .The MCCAIS301 using digital technology moves the audiology data analysis from a manual low efficient stage to an effective and intelligent level .

G heterozygote carriers.The carrying rate of deafness gene was 26‰(32/1234).In the 32 carriers,there are 5 babies showed 'refer' at the first step of hearing screening.In the 1234 babies,112 babies showed 'refer' at the first step of hearing screening.CONCLUSION Deafness gene screening can make up for the deficiencies of the universal newborn hearing screening,and should be used in this kind screening more widely.

G mutation were intervened and avoided the occurrence of deafness,1 babies with 235delC homozygote was confirmed severe sensorineural hearing loss in the hearing screening.Conclusion Newborn gene screening make up the defects of missed diagnosis in simple hearing screening in finding the newborn babies with late-onset deafness or the high risk as well as the pathogenic carriers.So the hearing and gene screening were necessary in the current situation,and this screening strategy would be developed further in Henan province.

Objective: To analyze the current situation and related factors of physical exercise behavior among high school students, so as to provide theoretical basis for improving their health level. Methods: In May 2022, a stratified cluster random sampling method was used to select 17 high schools in the jurisdiction of Taizhou City. A total of 3 402 high school students were selected by class to conduct a survey on the prevalence and related factors of physical exercise behavior by Chinese Sports Activity Level Scale. And binary Logistic regression analysis was conducted to analyze the influencing factors. Results: Among the surveyed high school students, the rate of poor physical exercise behavior reached 53.4%. The rates of poor physical exercise behavior varied within the group in terms of gender, urban and rural areas, whether they were only children, maternal education, parental emotions, parental exercise habits, parenting styles, family income and academic performance were statistically significant (χ2=12.38, 11.73, 742.71, 28.86, 24.38, 39.98, 71.92, 33.34, 176.97, P<0.01). High school students of grade 3, female students, parents with low education, parents who occasionally and never exercise, intergenerational discipline, low family income, and average academic performance were the tendency factors for poor physical exercise behavior(OR=1.39, 1.18, 1.62, 1.30, 1.36, 2.21, 1.53, 1.46, 1.52, P<0.05). Conclusions The rate of poor physical exercise behavior among high school students in Taizhou City is relatively high and is affected by various factors such as age, gender, academic performance, and family background. It should actively reduce the impact of unfavorable factors, promote high school students to participate in physical exercise, and improve the health level of high school students.

Objective To evaluate the performance of an artificial intelligence ( AI ) assisted diagnosis system for diabetic retinopathy ( DR) based on deep learning theory. Methods Diagnostic performance of a robot assisted diagnosis system called SongYue for DR was trained by using 25297 retinal images tagged by fundus doctors from multiple hospitals in China. Four types of DR detection model consisting of abnormal DR,referable DR,severe non-proliferative and proliferative DR as well as proliferative DR according to fundus leisions identification were established. The ability of the system to distinguish DR was determined by using receiver operator characteristic (ROC) analysis,sensitivity and specificity of the system. Results SongYue system achieved an area under the ROC curve ( AUC) of 0. 920 for successfully distinguishing normal images from those DR with a sensitivity of 96. 0％at a specificity of 87. 9％. The AUC of SongYue for referable DR was 0. 925,sensitivity was 90. 4％,and specificity was 95. 2％. For severe non-proliferative and proliferative DR,AUC was 0. 845,sensitivity was 72. 7％,and specificity was 96. 2％. For proliferative DR, AUC was 0. 855, sensitivity was 73. 5％, and specificity was 97. 3％. Conclusions SongYue robot assisted diagnosis system has high AUC,sensitivity and specificity for identifying DR, showing good clinical applicable benefits.
