Objective To observe the change of the serum ABCG2 level of patients with non‐small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)be‐fore and after chemotherapy ,and explore its clinical significance .Methods Venous blood specimens of 15 healthy adults and 50 pa‐tients with NSCLC were collected before and chemotherapy ,the serum ABCG2 level of these specimens were detected by ELISA . the relation between the ABCG2 level and the chemosensitivity was investigated .Results The serum ABCG2 level of patients with NSCLC before chemotherapy was significantly higher than that in healthy adults(P<0 .05);the serum ABCG2 level was not related with TNM stage in NSCLC(P<0 .05);The serum ABCG2 level of patients with NSCLC after chemotherapy was significantly high‐er than that of before(P<0 .05);in chemosensitive patients ,the different of serum ABCG2 level was not significantly before and af‐ter chemotherapy(P>0 .05);among chemoresistant patients ,the serum ABCG2 level of patients with NSCLC after chemotherapy was significantly higher than that of before(P<0 .05);the serum ABCG2 level was higher in patients with pleural effusion than the patients without pleural effusion ,but the different was not significantly(P>0 .05) .Conclusion The serum ABCG2 level of patients with NSCLC is higher than that of healthy adults ;serum ABCG2 level may become a useful indicator in predicting the effect of NSCLC chemotherapy .

The threshold of cyclin E expression at G1/S boundary is a characteristic feature of cell cycle progressing. In this study, we tried to develop a quantitative approach to analyze cyclin E threshold by multiparameter flow cytometry. The expression of cyclin E in exponentially growing MOLT-4 cells was detected under different photomultiplier tube (PMT) voltages by cyclin E/DNA multiparameter flow cytometry. Additionally, cyclin E was detected in cells which were treated with caffeine and cycloheximide (CHX) under the same PMT voltage. Moreover, the expression of cyclin E in MOLT-4 cells was compared with that in JURKAT cells. Cyclin E threshold was quantified by formula B2/AxC (A, B, C indicates the minimum, threshold, and maximum of cyclin E fluorescence intensity, respectively). Results showed that in MOLT-4 cells, cyclin E threshold calculated by formula B2/AxC was invariable under different PMT settings. It was decreased in cells treated with caffeine and remained changeless in cells treated with cycloheximide. Cyclin E threshold in JURKAT cells was much lower than that in MOLT-4 cells. It was suggested that Formula B2/AxC we firstly set up could be used to analyze cyclin E expression threshold quantitatively.

OBJECTIVE: To develop a self deep breathing training device which can improve lung function compliance and blood oxygen saturation. METHODS: The device consists of four parts:flow tube, measuring cylinder, mobile phone holder and meridian guidance audio-visual synthesis training software. The flow tube measures the flow rate of inhaled gas, the metering cylinder measures the total amount of inhaled gas, and the mobile phone rack is equipped with a mobile phone storing the meridian guidance audio-visual synthesis training software. RESULTS: The device is reasonable in structure and flexible in operation, which can meet the requirements of self deep inspiration training under the guidance of training module. CONCLUSIONS Deep inspiration training under the guidance of guidance training module can form "deep and slow" abdominal breathing, and then improve lung function.
