Cancer cells refer to a group of malignant cells with strong division and proliferation abilities.Cancer cells rely on the unstable plunder of human nutrition to sustain the large amount of energy that they need for their own division and proliferation. The division and proliferation of cancer cells are linked to the synthesis and replication of genetic material in the nucleus.Blockage or destruction of the synthesis of genetic material in cancer cells is one of the mechanisms underlying the action of most antitumor drugs. As the key material that dominates cell division, proliferation, and death, nuclear genetic material which mainly refers to the deoxyribonucleic acid located on the chromatin in the nucleus, plays a decisive role in the final fate of cells. The final fate of cancer cells after the damage of the genetic material is worthy of investigation and analysis. In this paper,we discuss and analyze the fate of cancer cells after genetic material damage from the aspect of cellular cycle arrest, apoptosis, autophagy, and senescence to provide ideas for the mechanism research on antitumor drugs.

Objective To investigate HPV vaccine hesitancy and influencing factors among parents of primary and secondary schools in Guangyuan, and to provide scientific countermeasures for reducing the hesitancy rate of HPV vaccine in parents. Methods Using stratified multi-stage cluster random sampling, 1,018 parents of girls in primary and secondary schools in Guangyuan were selected for a questionnaire survey from March to July 2021. The data were analyzed by Chi-square test and multivariate logistic regression model. Results The hesitancy rate of HPV vaccine in parents was 42.95%. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that families with low economic income, parents who believed that HPV vaccination would have long-term side effects, and be unsafe and expensive, and parents who concerned with the effect of HPV vaccine on the prevention of cervical cancer and insufficient supply of first doses of vaccine, had positive effects on HPV vaccine hesitancy (OR = 2.02, 1.44, 3.13, 1.53, 3.76, and 2.43, respectively, P < 0.05). Conclusion HPV vaccine hesitancy rate is high among parents of primary and secondary schools in Guangyuan. It is necessary to fully promote school education and increase the publicity of HPV vaccine to improve parents' awareness of HPV vaccine. Government departments need to make an overall plan to reduce vaccine costs and ensure sufficient vaccine quantity, so as to reduce parents' hesitation to vaccinate their children with HPV vaccine.

Yang-palm, through early systematic Zhan-zhuang training to raise qi, pats the affected area to extract pathological product outer surface using the distal of 2-5 fingers in palm dorsal. This therapy emphasizes infusing qi and extract silt. The treatment continues when pathological product scatters and disappears, so the short-term and long-term efficacy is significant, and especially suitable for the treatment of TCM arthralgia. This article introduced the clinical therapy in treating two rheumatism patients by Yang-palm, explained process and study method of Yang-palm therapy, and shared treatment experience and explored the basic principles of treatment, with a purpose to provide a new treatment for rheumatism.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of velocity vector imaging in the assessment of regional left ventricular longitudinal myocardial function in fetuses with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Methods Digital dynamic four-chamber views of 98 fetuses with GDM and 135 normal fetuses were collected and analyzed using velocity vector imaging. The regional tissue velocity, strain and strain rate of the interventricular septum and left lateral wall were measured in systole and diastole. Results Two hundred and seven of 233 cases were analyzed successfully. Systolic velocity(Vs) and diastolic velocity(Vd)were age-dependent, Vs and Vd were both gradually decreased from the basal segment to the apical segment in the left ventricle( P <0. 05). The Va after 32+0 weeks and Vd after 28+0 weeks and systolic strain(S),systolic strain rate(SRs) and diastolic strain rate(SRd) in left ventricle of fetuses with GDM after 24+0weeks were obviously lower than the corresponding parameters of normal fetuses ( P <0. 05). Conclusions Velocity vector imaging can evaluate the fetal regional left ventricular longitudinal myocardial function.

BACKGROUND: Osteoporosis is easily seen in postmenopausal women. The bone loss situation is different among populations of different age and body mass.OBJECTIVE: To analyze the effects of age, menopausal duration, menopause age, height, body mass and body mass index on bone mineral density (BMD) in postmenopausal women.DESIGN: Random sampling test was conducted to postmenopausal women.SETTING: A clinical trial center of a provincial Chinese traditional medicine research institute, an orthopaedic department of a university hospital and a bone wound department of a university.PARTICIPANTS: Totally 603 naturally postmenopausal women in Fuzhou area from September 2000 to August 2003.METHODS: Random sampling method was used. The age of participants, menopausal duration, menopause age, height, body mass and bone mineral index(BMI) were recorded. Dual energy X-ray bone mineral density machine was used to examine the bone mineral density of lumbar, neck of femur, great trochanter and Ward' s area while SPSS software was used to conduct regression analysis.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The correlation between age, menopausal years, menopause age, height, body mass, BMI and bone density as well as the regression equation.RESULTS: There was very significant correlation between age, menopausal duration, body mass, BMI of postmenopausal women and bone mineral density of lumbar, neck of femur, great trochanter and Ward' s area. The BMD in low body mass group is greatly lower than that of obesity group( P < 0.01 ). The main factors impacting BMD of lumbar are in turn age, body mass and menopause age while the regression equation: y = 0. 927 - 0. 0093 X1+ 0. 0037X2 + 0. 004X3. The factors impacting BMD of neck of femur are in turn menopausal duration, body mass, menopause age and the regression equation was: y = 0. 687 - 0. 0081 X1 + 0. 0048 X2 - 0. 0034 X3. And the factors affecting BMD of greattrochanter are age, body mass and menopause age while the regression equation was y = 0. 591 - 0. 0038 X1 + 0. 0042 X2 - 0. 0024 X3. Age, body mass index and menopausal duration are main factors affecting BMD of Ward' s area and the regression equation was y =0. 686 -0. 0072 X1 +0. 0136 X2 -0. 0046 X3.CONCLUSION: The BMD of lumbar and hip gradually decreases with the increase of age in postmenopausal women. The risk of getting osteoporosis in people with low body mass is greater than women in normal body mass groupand obesity group.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of glycogen on calcium concentration of rabbit donor liver during ischemia-reperfusion period.
METHODSDonor group (n=21) was divided into 3 subgroups randomly: Group A (n=7): fasting for 24 hours before harvesting; Group B (n=7): normal laboratory chew; Group C (n=7): normal laboratory chew plus glucose supplement intravenously. Based on the self-created animal model for ischemia-reperfusion, the levels of glycogen content, ATP level, viability of Ca(2+)ATPase and plasmic free Ca(2+) concentration ([Ca(2+)]i) of liver tissue were measured.
RESULTSBefore cold preservation, there was a significant difference of glycogen content among the three groups at all time points except at the end of rewarming period. ATP level and Ca(2+)ATPase viability were significantly higher in group C than in other two groups. But the plasmic free Ca(2+) concentration was lower in groups with higher glycogen content.
CONCLUSIONSDonor liver with high glycogen content can provide relatively sufficient ATP, maintain better Ca(2+)ATPase viability and prevent plasmic free Ca(2+) concentration overloading. This maybe an important mechanism for glycogen to ameliorate ischemia-reperfusion injury to the donor livers.
