1.Neuron apoptosis in response to hyperoxic liquid in rabbit with traffic brain injury
Chinese Journal of Trauma 2008;24(9):740-742
Objective To investigate the effect of hyperoxie liquid on neuron apoptosis in rabbit with traffic brain injury. Methods Rabbit models of brain injury were established by screening suit-able striking intensity and supplied respectively with hyperoxic liquid for 25, 50, 75 and 100 ml each day to observe the respiratory control rate(RCR) of mitochondria, mitochondria membrane potential (MMP), apoptosis rate of neurocytes and NSS grade.Meanwhile, non-intervention group and control groups were set. Results The rabbit model made by striking velocity of 72 km/h was selected as the study object.MMP, RCR, phosphate/oxygen ratio(P/O), oxygenated phosphate rate(OPR) and apopto-sis rate of neurocytes and NSS grade in control and treatment group showed statistical difference compared with non-intervention group(P<0.05).MMP, RCR, P/O and OPR in 100 ml hyperoxic liquid treat-ment group were higher than those in 75 ml hyperoxie liquid treatment group(P<0.05), but the apopto-sis rate of neurocytes and NSS grade showed no statistical difference(P>0.05). Conclusion Intra-venous hyperoxic liquid infusion can decrease apoptosis rate of neurocytes, as indicates that hyperoxic liq-uid affects apoptosis of neurocytes and hence ameliorates prognosis mainly by intervening respiratory func-tion of mitechondria.
2.Study on Sterilization and Disinfection of Sickbed
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(08):-
Effective strategies to sterilize and disinfect the surface of sickbed should be adopted before the sickbed is moved into or out of an operation room.Ozone produced by Nano technology is used as disinfector. The experiments shows that the killing logarithm value to kill nature bacteria is between 0.54 and0.85 in short time. The effect of sterilization and disinfection for the surface of sickbed is satisfying without secondary pollution,so the new method can be used to sterilize and disinfect sickbed.

Acta Physiologica Sinica 2021;73(4):646-656
Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a rare disease with a complex aetiology characterized by elevated pulmonary artery resistance, which leads to progressive right ventricular failure and ultimately death. The aberrant metabolism of arachidonic acid in the pulmonary vasculature plays a central role in the pathogenesis of PAH. The levels of 15-lipoxygenase (15-LO) and 15-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid (15-HETE) are elevated in the pulmonary arterial endothelial cells (PAECs), pulmonary smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) and fibroblasts of PAH patients. Under hypoxia condition, 15-LO/15-HETE induces pulmonary artery contraction, promotes the proliferation of PAECs and PASMCs, inhibits apoptosis of PASMCs, promotes fibrosis of pulmonary vessels, and then leads to the occurrence of PAH. Here, we review the research progress on the relationship between 15-LO/15-HETE and hypoxic PAH, in order to clarify the significance of 15-LO/15-HETE in hypoxic PAH.

5.Role of non-coding RNAs in vascular smooth muscle cell calcification.
Acta Physiologica Sinica 2022;74(6):885-893
Vascular calcification, the deposition of calcium in the arterial wall, is often linked to increased stiffness of the vascular wall. Vascular calcification is one of the important factors for high morbidity and mortality of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, as well as an important biomarker in atherosclerotic cardiovascular events, stroke and peripheral vascular diseases. The mechanism of vascular calcification has not been fully elucidated. Recently, non-coding RNAs have been found to play an important role in the process of vascular calcification. In this paper, the main types of non-coding RNAs and their roles involved in vascular smooth muscle cell calcification are reviewed, including the changes of osteoblast-related proteins, calcification signaling pathways and intracellular Ca2+.

Objective To analyze the effect of 3D simulation technique in thoracoscopic lobectomy. Methods From June 2015 to January 2018, 124 patients with left lower lobe resection underwent thoracoscopy with single-port thoracoscopic surgery, including 64 males and 60 females, aged 42–83 years. They were randomly divided into two groups including an experimental group (preoperatively given 3D simulation surgery in 59 patients) and a control group (preoperatively not given 3D simulation surgery in 65 patients). The clinical effect between the two groups was compared. Results All patients recovered without any death during hospitalization. In the experimental group, the operation time, intraoperative blood loss and postoperative hospital stay were significantly less than those in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in postoperative drainage volume, and duration of drainage tube retention and analgesic drug usage between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion 3D simulation technique for thoracoscopic lobectomy has advantage in short operation time, minor trauma and quick recovery. It has a guiding role in the preoperative planning of lung cancer surgery and is worthy of popularization and application.

Objective To investigate the change of gene rstn expression in brain tissues following traumatic brain injury (TBI). Methods A total 90 SD rats were involved in the study and divided into normal control group (5 rats), sham operation group (10 rats), mild, moderate and severe trauma groups (25 rats per group). Rat model was made with sap pressure clash method and RT-PCR assay was employed to detect expression change of gene rstn at 3, 6, 24, 72 h and 1, 2, 4 weeks after TBI. The change of peripheral blood glucose concentration was measured in moderate trauma group to observe its relationship with gene rstn expression in brain tissue. Results Postoperative expression of gene rstn was increased in severe trauma group at 24 hours, in moderate trauma group at 72 hours and in mild trauma group at four weeks (P<0.05). The expression of gene rstn was increased in hippocampus, thalamus and cortex of all trauma groups at four weeks postoperatively, when the hippocampus showed the highest expression while the thalamus showed the least (P< 0.05). Moreover, the expression of gene rstn showed high level in injury side but low level in contralateral side in different districts (P < 0.05). The expression of gene rstn was increased the most obviously in severe trauma group (P <0.05). Peripheral blood glucose concentration showed a linearity positive correlation with gene rstn expression in brain tissue (R=5.32,P<0.05). Conclusions Expression of gene rstn shows obvious increase after TBI, and the time course correlates with the injury severity. The gene rstn expresses the most in the ipsilateral hippocampus. There shows a certain correlation between gene rstn expression and peripheral blood glucose concentration in brain tissues after TBI.
