[Objective] To study the protection and mechanism of mica granules to rats stomach mucosa injury caused by non-water ethanol.[Method] Randomly divide 48 healthy SD rats into high-,middle-and low-dosed groups of mica granules,Simida group, model control group and blank control group as well,i.e.6 groups. After fasting for 24h,separately make stomach perfusion of mica granules and Simida to all rats in advance;after 3h,make stomach perfusion of non-water ethanol 1ml/100g for stomach mucosa injury;45m later, take proper blood of lower vena cava, sacrifice them for stomach, then respectively test all mucosa injury index,SOD,MDA,and GSH-Px content in serum and mucosa, observe pathological changes to evaluate mucosa injury degree and medical function.[Result] In mica groups, the SOD and GSH-Px were markedly higher than that in model control group, but MDA was lower than later(P

Chronic low back pain is a common worldwide high disabling physical and mental problem. The mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR), a psychotherapy based on mindfulness, is widely recommended for chronic low back pain as a non-drug therapy. This article reviews the basic concepts, training methods of MBSR and the effects related to the improvement of pain related physiological and reactive behavior in patients with chronic low back pain, and analyses the problems that exist in the process of implementation in order to provide a basis for future clinical application.

OBJECTIVETo generate mice which are specific for peroxisomproliferator-activated receptor-γ coactivator-1(PGC-1α) knockout in the GABAergic interneuron.
METHODSConditional mice specific for PGC-1αwere introduced from the Jackson Laboratory, USA and initially inbred to obtain homozygote PGC-1αmice. The PGC-1αconditional mice were further crossed with Dlx5/6-Cre-IRES-EGFP transgenic mice to achieve specific knockout of PGC-1α in the GABAergic interneuron.
RESULTSThe offspring with specific knockout PGC-1α gene were successful for the generation of GABAergic interneuron, with the resulting genotype being PGC-1α.
CONCLUSIONThe PGC-1αmice were obtained through a proper crossing strategy, which has provided a suitable platform for studying the function of PGC-1α in neuropsychiatric diseases.

Objective:Analysis of the influencing factors of maternal oral health care behavior based on the health belief model. Methods:From July to December 2023, a cross-sectional survey was conducted in Peking Union Medical College Hospital on 316 pregnant women who received the health belief questionnaire and self-efficacy scale。 t test and χ2 test were used to analyze the factors affecting the oral health care behavior of pregnant women from the perspective of social psychology. Results:Among the 316 pregnant women included, 110(34.8%) had poor daily oral health care behavior, 120 (38.1%)did not have oral examination before or during pregnancy. The health beliefs of pregnant women in overall oral care were not high, with a score of 6.63+3.23, Median score is 7 (5).Perceived susceptibility to oral diseases ( OR=1.51, 95% CI:1.026-2.213), self-efficacy of daily living ( OR=2.64, 95% CI: 1.384-5.040), self-efficacy of oral examination ( OR=1.74, 95% CI:1.184-2.570) were independent factors of daily oral health care behavior in pregnant women. Health motivation ( OR=2.47, 95% CI:1.474-4.126) and self-efficacy of oral examination ( OR=4.17, 95% CI:2.626-6.619) were independent factors of oral examination behavior before and during pregnancy. Conclusion:Health beliefs of maternal oral health, especially perceived susceptibility, health motivation and self-efficacy are closely related to maternal oral health care behaviors. To improve the health belief and self-efficacy of pregnant women′s oral health care and avoid potential obstacles, which could be conducive to the effective promotion of oral health care for pregnant women.

OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in the treatment of patients with moderate coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
METHODS:
We prospectively enrolled 30 treatment-naïve patients with confirmed COVID-19 after informed consent at Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center. The patients were randomized 1:1 to HCQ group and the control group. Patients in HCQ group were given HCQ 400 mg per day for 5 days plus conventional treatments, while those in the control group were given conventional treatment only. The primary endpoint was negative conversion rate of SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid in respiratory pharyngeal swab on days 7 after randomization. This study has been approved by the Ethics Committee of Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center and registered online (NCT04261517).
RESULTS:
One patient in HCQ group developed to severe during the treatment. On day 7, nucleic acid of throat swabs was negative in 13 (86.7%) cases in the HCQ group and 14 (93.3%) cases in the control group (>0.05). The median duration from hospitalization to virus nucleic acid negative conservation was 4 (1,9) days in HCQ group, which is comparable to that in the control group [2 (1,4) days, Z=1.27, >0.05]. The median time for body temperature normalization in HCQ group was 1 (0,2) day after hospitalization, which was also comparable to that in the control group [1 (0,3) day]. Radiological progression was shown on CT images in 5 cases (33.3%) of the HCQ group and 7 cases (46.7%) of the control group, and all patients showed improvement in follow-up examinations. Four cases (26.7%) of the HCQ group and 3 cases (20%) of the control group had transient diarrhea and abnormal liver function (>0.05).
CONCLUSIONS
The prognosis of COVID-19 moderate patients is good. Larger sample size study are needed to investigate the effects of HCQ in the treatment of COVID-19. Subsequent research should determine better endpoint and fully consider the feasibility of experiments such as sample size.
