1.Results of expanded program of immunization (EPI) for 6 infectious diseases prevention for the children under 1 year in Thanh Hoa province during 1993-1997
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2001;11(3):34-36
During 1993-1997, the rate of expanded program of immunization for 6 infectious diseases prevention for children under 1 year in Thanh Hoa province reached 95% annually. Tetanus preventive immunization rate for pregnant women was 93%, for women from 15-35 years accounted for 93% for the past 5 years the morbidity and mortality rate caused by 6 infectious diseases in children were significantly reduced

2.Study on the oral bio-availability of artemisinin solid dispersion system using Eudragit 100 as a carrier
Pharmaceutical Journal 1999;282(10):17-20
The oral Bio-availability of two different capsule formulations of artmisinin was carried out in six rabbits divided in two groups and seven healthy male volunteers in a single-dose crossover design with randomization for dosing sequence. The experimental results showed that the relative bioavailability of the formulation, that was made of artemisinin solid dispersion system using Eudragit L100 as a carrier on ratio 1:1, was more two times higher than the modification of artemisinin capsules without any modifications. There was a good correlation between in vitro dissolution data obtained by dissolution test with the mean AUG values of each studied group after oral administration.

3.Pedicle ligation for treatment of the benign tumors
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1999;232(1):147-150
22 patients (male:16, female:6) with ages of 12-78, had a benign tumors in mucosa of stoma, lip, face, ear, neck, breast. The tumor had a small base and pedicle. The tumors were treated by pedicle ligation. The results have shown that the average time for separating the pedicle was 2-3 days, there were no complications. The treatment was a good efficacy and can be easily applied in the health services in all levels.

4.Analysis of ingredients in the group of amphetamine among samples gathered from narcotic cases
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(2):20-23
Investigating qualitative process of amphetamines in the narcotic sample gathered from narcotic drug cases in South cities and provinces by the color reactions, the thin layer chromatography or the gas chromatography. Result: most of amphetamines were under tablet form and a small number of them under powder or crystal form. Outside features was basic to test tablet and orientation for analysis. Methamphetamine content in S3, S5, S7, and S8 were relatively low (5.14-30.26mg/tablet). Methamphetamines content in S1 was high (64.46%). MDMA content in S2, S4, S6, S9, and S10 were relatively high (93.74-149.70mg/tablet). Application gas chromatography in quantification methamphetamine, MDMA that were agents commonly used in unlawful market in South provinces

5.Chromosome examination on fetal monkey kidney cells culture through passages
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2004;14(4):47-50
Chromosomes of 45 samples of fetal monkey kidney cells from primitive to 9th passages was examined. Results showed the quantity of 2n = 42 chromosome reached 89,86-96%. The polyploidy phenomenon including internal polyploidy trended to increase from the 4th passage and the most number of chromosomes was obtained from 6th to 9th passage. In every passage, both numeral mutation and aberration were at normal range

8.Purification and preliminary studies for application of lectin from haemolymph clam (Meretrix meretrix Linne) in medicine.
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 1998;(1):34-38
A lectin from the haemolymph clam was purified by molecular sieving on sephadex- G75 column. The products have a high purity. The purity of lectin was assessed by SDS polyacrylamide gel. Two doublets band of apparent molecular weights of respectively about 14,000-17,000 and 20,000-23,000 Dalton were revealed upon staining with Coomassie blue. Optimum-pH of the lectin from the clams is pH 6,5-7,0 and 8,5-9,0. The lectins of the clams had very different specificity for hydratecarbons and glucoproteins

10.Application of magnetics in the health care
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2001;(11):16-17
The magnetic nearly do not have any disadvantages at therapeutic doses and do not cause the changes of cell structure and heteroplasia. The dependence on the magnetic is rare so the treatment with magnetic can be lasted. However, it has not known the side effects of the magnetic after many years (15-20) of the application of magnetic because the magnetic was applied newly
