OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for clinical prevention and treatment of ceftizoxime-induced hemolytic anemia by investigating the situation of ceftizoxime-induced hemolytic anemia. METHODS:Using Chinese and English“ceftizoxime”“he-molysis”and other words as key words, related literatures during 1986-2015 were retrieved from CNKI,Wanfang database and PubMed database. Those literatures were analyzed statistically in respects of general information, clinical drug use and manifesta-tion,occurrence time and outcome, etc. The mechanisms of hemolytic anemia were analyzed to put forward prevention and treat-ment measures. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:A total of 11 literatures were retrieved, including 4 foreign literatures and 7 domes-tic ones. There were 15 cases in total, including 5 foreign cases and 10 domestic cases. According to the patient’s age, there were 7 cases of infants,4 cases of the elderly,3 cases of middle-aged people and 1 case of youth. The hemolytic anemia often occurred on the 2-7 day(8 cases). Most of the patients were improved after treatment, but there were 3 patients who died. The mechanism of hemolytic anemia mainly included the production of immune complex and non-immunologic protein adsorption. It is suggested to investigate allergic reaction history, pay attention to sensitization test on skin, select suitable drug dosage and avoid drug combina-tion. The patient’s medications should be monitored closely. Once hemolytic anemia occurs,it should be immediately stop using the drug and take appropriate measures as hormone treatment, comprehensive treatment, blood transfusion treatment,to avoid en-dangering the life safety of patients.

We studied the epidemiological characteristics of human bocavirus 4 (HBoV4) in children with a- cute gastroenteritis in Lanzhou (China). A total of 331 stool specimens were collected from children aged < 5 years with acute diarrhea at the First Hospital of Lanzhou University between July 2012 and June 2013. Specimens of HBoV were identified by nested polymerase chain reaction assays. Compared with related sequences in GenBank, the HBoV-positive strain isolated in the present study was, quite surprisingly, a rare genotype named HBoV4. This strain was a typical HBoV4,with high levels of nucleotide and amino acid homology to the Thailand strain, JQ267789 (98.9% and 98.7%, respectively), and the USA strain, GQ506568 (97.6% and 97.4%, respectively). This is the first report of HBoV4 as the causative agent for acute gastroenteritis in pediatric patients in China. This strain is one of two genotypes of HBoV that are currently circulating.

Enterovirus 71 (EV71) is a major agent of hand, foot and mouth disease that can cause a severe burden of disease to children. To identify an effective method for the control and prevention of EV71, we studied the effect of exposure to heat and ultraviolet (UV) light upon EV71 inactivation. We found that exposure to 50 degrees C could not inactivate the infectivity of EV71. However, exposure to 60 degrees C and 70 degrees C could inactivate EV71 effectively. EV71 could be inactivated after exposure to UV light at a distance between the sample and a lamp of 30 cm for 30 min or 60 min because viral genomic RNA was destroyed. However, fetal bovine serum (FBS) could attenuate the inactivation proffered by heat and UV light. Attenuation effects of FBS were correlated positively with FBS concentration. Hence, EV71 can be inactivated by exposure to heat and UV light, and our results could provide guidance on prevention of the spread of EV71.

Rotavirus is the leading causal agent of severe acute gastroenteritis in children aged <5 years. A specific pharmacologic agent for the treatment of rotavirus-infected children is lacking. In China, only the Luo Tewei oral vaccine (Lanzhou Institute of Biological Products, Shanghai, China), which is produced from Lanzhou lamb rotavirus vaccine (LLR), is available. Studies have hypothesized that the genotype of LLR is G10P[12], To identify the genotype of LLR by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, we showed that the VP7 and VP4 genotypes of LLR were G10 and P[15], respectively, based on sequencing, alignment and phylogenetic analyses. In conclusion, we identified the genotype of rotavirus strain LLR to be G10P[15].

China Pharmacy 2017;28(31):4341-4345
OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for developing zero-profit drug policy and compensation mechanism better in ur-ban public hospitals. METHODS:Taking a public hospital in a city as an example, effects of zero-profit drug policy on hospitals, patients, health insurance fund and single diseases with different drug proportions [cataract (2.94%) vs. chronic renal failure (38.77%)] were investigated by analyzing the canceled drug addition costs and adjusted medical service price data after developing zero-profit drug policy. RESULTS:After developing zero-profit drug policy, the overall compensation rate in the public hospital was 95.20%. The overall burden of urban patients was reduced, average burden cost was decreased 197.73 yuan every time;while the overall burden of urban and rural residents had increased, average burden cost was increased 17.39 yuan every time;and the overall burden of all patients had decreased. Health insurance fund had decreased,in which, the urban workers were decreased 151185500 yuan, and urban and rural residents were increased 4550400 yuan. In medical insurance for urban workers and health insurance for urban and rural residents, hospital increased by 7.00% and 8.99% in income in the treatment of cataract, the medical insurance fund increased by 12.07% and 13.67%,and patients'burden increased by 0.58% and 3.43%,respectively. For chronic renal failure, hospital income increased by 3.23% and 3.93%,medical insurance fund decreased by 3.19% and 3.96%,and pa-tients'burden decreased by 4.27% and 3.63%,respectively. CONCLUSIONS:Zero-profit drug policy is the ideal measure for get-ting rid of"drug-maintaining-medicine". When developing the policy,it should be combined with actual situation and different dis-eases to explore adjustment of medical service prices, reasonable financial compensation models and medical insurance payment mechanism.

Chinese Journal of Experimental and Clinical Virology 2019;33(1):49-53
Objective:
To analyze the infection status and pathogenic characteristics of rotavirus in group A of children under 5 years of age in Lanzhou city in 2017, and provide scientific data for prevention and control of rotavirus infection.
Methods:
A total of 219 stool samples from children with diarrhea under the age of 5 years in the Department of Pediatrics, First Hospital of Lanzhou University from January to December in 2017 were collected. A group of human rotavirus positive samples were detected by ELISA, and G/P typing was detected by using reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)) combined with sequencing. Some of the VP7 gene fragments were amplified, sequenced and analyzed for phylogenetic characteristics.
Results:
A total of 113 rotavirus in group A positive samples were detected, with a total positive rate of 51.60%. The main target of infection was children 0 to 17 months, and the peak of the epidemic was mainly in November. G/P genotyping was performed: G9 was predominant G genotype (90.27%), followed by G2 (7.08%). P[8] was predominant P genotype (91.15%), followed by P [4] (7.96%). In 2017, the group A human rotavirus epidemic strain was mainly G9P[8](88.50%). Sequence analysis and phylogenetic analysis of VP7 gene fragments showed that the dominant genotypes G9 had higher homology with isotype reference strains in other regions of China.
Conclusions
Children 0 to 17 months old in Lanzhou city are at high risk of group A human rotavirus infection. G9P[8] is a dominant genotype.

Chinese Journal of Stomatology 2019;54(8):532-536
Objective:
To summarize the clinical manifestation and treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disc ossification, providing reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment of TMJ disc ossification.
Methods:
From January 2006 to January 2018, 4 patients with TMJ disc ossification (2 males and 2 females, aged 20-55 years with an average age of 35.5 years) which were admitted to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Shenzhen Second People′s Hospital were analyzed retrospectively. Ossification of TMJ disc was found in 4 cases during TMJ surgery. Two cases underwent partial ossification resection plus disc reduction and anchorage, and two cases underwent discectomy plus temporalis myofascial flap replacement. The causes, clinical manifestations and surgical effects of TMJ disc ossification were analyzed by comparing the maximal interincisal opening, visual analogue scale (VAS) score and MRI imaging indexes before and after operation.
Results:
The history of anterior disc displacement of TMJ in 4 patients was long (average 11.5 years). In clinic, TMJ disc ossification was characterized by TMJ pain and limitation of mouth opening. The maximal interincisal opening was (32.1±6.1) mm and the VAS score was (7.3±0.4) before operation. MRI showed that the displaced discs of the affected sides were displaced and the condyle bones were worn. During the operation, ossification of TMJ discs was found yellow and hard, and the original elasticity was lost. Pathologic findings showed that the TMJ disc cartilage were ossified to osteoid tissue. Under the microscope, bone cells scattered around the bone cells and red trabecular bone were seen, and there were bone trabecula formed. In a follow-up of one year, TMJ pain was significantly decreased [VAS: (1.7±0.2)], and the maximal interincisal opening was (38.5±2.2) mm. MRI showed that the TMJ disc returned to normal position, and the sign of repairing and reconstruction of condyle bone could be found.
Conclusions
Long term displacement of TMJ disc may cause ossification with pain and limitation of interincisal opening. According to the degree and extent of ossification, partial ossification plus disc reduction and anchorage or discectomy plus temporalis myofascial flap replacement is feasible, and the clinical effects are satisfactory.
