Objective To study in clinic the potential antifatigue effect of red-light irradiation onto the soldiers exhausted by a high intensity of exercise with detection of myocardial enzymes, coagulation indices and other blood routines before and after the bio-light therapy. Methods 200 soldiers selected were assigned averagely and randomly into two groups, test group and control group, with 100 for each group. All the volunteers underwent a strong intensity and exhaustion exercise. Then the red-light irradiation of 30J/cm2?30 min once a day performed 2 weeks was given to the soldiers in test group, and the soldiers in control group received similar treatment except that daylight lamp was employed instead of red-light irradiation. The blood samples were then collected from all the volunteers before the exercise and 7d and 14d after the exercise for detecting and comparing the indexes of aspartate transaminase (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), creatine kinase (CK), creatine kinase MB isoforms (CK-MB), Hydroxybutyric dehydrogenase (HBDH), white blood cell (WBC), hemoglobin (HB), red blood count (RBC), platelet (PLT), prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), plasma fibrinogen (FIB), thrombin time (TT) and calcium (Ca2+). Results The findings showed an obvious increase in the indices of HB, RBC and Ca2+ of the soldiers in the test group, the indices were significantly higher than that of the soldiers in the control group. However, no significant difference was found between the two groups in such indices as AST, ADH, CK, CK-MB, HBDH, WBC, PLT, PT, APTT, FIB and TT. Conclusion As one of the harmless biotherapies, red light irradiation is conveniently and easily applied for restoring the exhausted soldiers to their normal physical ability. Without side-effects, the red light irradiation may improve the antifatigue and endurance capacity after an individual underwent a strong intensity and exhaustion exercise. It′s valuable and acceptable for enhancement of soldiers′ combat capabilities.

Objective The study is aimed to investigate the effects of radiation with red light on ATP contents in animals' liver, skeletal muscle and blood, and further to surmise the effects of the radiation on surmounting the exercise-induced fatigue. Methods 18 French white rabbits, weighed 2.0?0.5 kg,were randomly assigned to 3 groups with 6 animals for each:the animals in group A acted as control with no treatment by red light radiation;in groups B and C the animals received radiation with red light once a day and 3 hours for each time, the treatment for group B continued for one week and for group C continued for 2 weeks.Once the treatment of red light radiation ended, the venous blood were collected from the ear edge and the animals were executed, the liver tissue and skeletal muscle samples were collected, and then the contents of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD),adenosine monophosphate(AMP),adenosine diphosphate(ADP)and adenosine triphosphate(ATP)in the samples were detected. The same collection and detection of samples were also done for the control animals. Results Compared to control group, the levels of NAD,AMP,ADP and ATP in blood samples, liver tissues and skeletal muscles in both groups B and C were significantly higher after red light radiation for certain period. Conclusion Red light radiation is one of the widely-used biotherapies with such advantages as harmless, acceptable, effectiveness on relieving pains, tension and nervousness, for its capability of inducing beneficial bio-reactions in the subcutaneous, muscular and skeletal muscles with possible improvement of exercise-induced fatigue and endurance.Since ATP serves as a key factor in supplying energy for the body and supporting basic cellular respiration, and red light radiation may increase the ATP contents in blood, tissue and muscular,so the radiation may improve the ability of anti-fatigue.

To analyze the change of physiological indices in male and female pilot students during lower body negative pressure (LBNP) exposure, one female group and one male group participated in the experiment. They were subjected to LBNP up to 50 mmHg for 8 min. Electrocardiogram (ECG), heart rate (HR), blood pressure (BP), cerebral blood flow (CBF) and time of exposure were monitored during LBNP. The results showed that during LBNP, heart rate (HR) increased while systolic blood pressure (SBP) and cerebral blood flow (CBF) decreased with the prolongation of exposure. It is concluded that LBNP exposure could produce similar physiological changes in both male and femal pilot students.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of integrated traditional and western medicine in the treatment of serious ulcerative colitis. Methods Salicylate and cortical hormone were given to patients in acute phase, supplemented by oral administration of herbal medicine and retention enema of Kushenhuaihua concoction. During the period of remission, the patients were treated mainly with Jianpiling supplemented with salicylate for at least half a year. Results In 55 patients receiving conservative treatment, 35(63.6%) recovered completely, 18(32.7%) showed effective result, only 1 patient died and another showed ineffective result (1.8%). Five patients underwent surgical treatment, among them 4 were completely relieved. Long-term follow-up showed that in 67.4% of patients the symptoms were completely relieved, and in 2.3% of patients malignant degeneration occurred, 4.7% of the patients died, and 6.9% of the patients underwent operative treatment. Conclusion The effects of integrated traditional and western medicine treatment in patients with serious ulcerative colitis is superior to western medicine aloner as evidenced by a decrease in mortality and necessity of operation.

This paper is to study the feasibility of Chinese female pilot to fly fighterplane considering their physiological and biochemical tolerability to altitude anoxia. The altitude anorexia was simulated on the ground in female pilot and their electrocardiograph, heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, blood pressure, blood uric acid(BUA), blood lactic acid(BLA), creatine kinase(CK) and aspantic aminotransferase(AST) were measured before and after flying, and the results were compared with that in the male pilots. There was no difference in electrocardiograph, heart rate, blood saturation, blood pressure, Cr, CK, BUA and AST in both sexes, but the Hb level was higher in female pilots than that in male ones( P

100 cases of gastritis verrucosa were classified into acute stage and chronic active stage according to the morpnological and histological characteristics. The CP positive rates in the above two stages were 97% and 68.7%,respectively,while that of the erosion area and the surrounding intact mucosa ' were 83.0% and 45.0%,respectively.The amount of CP was directly related to the degree of inflammatory cell infiltration and erosion. So VG was closely related to CP infection. In the chronic active stage, the detection rates of the Ig coated CP in the tissue section, serum IgA,IgG,and gastric juice IgA were all higher than those in the acute stage (P
