Objective:To study the relationship betwen the mechanism of autoimmune disease and CD4+CD25+ T cell population in NIK mutated mice-aly mice. Methods:NIK mutated mice-aly/aly mice were used as model,aly/+mice as NIK normal control;cell populations were determined by FACS and the thymus structure were analyzed by immunohistochemistry. Results:The CD4+CD25+CD8- population were remarkably decreased in aly mice;and the UEA-1 positive cells were absent in aly mice. Conclusion:The autoimmune disease in aly mice might be the result of deceased the CD4+CD25+ population;the UEA-1 positive cells might play an important role in the development of CD4+CD25+ population. The aim of this study is to investigate the protective effect of N-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]-2-(2, 5-dimethoxyphenyl)-3-(3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl)acrylamide (FLZ), a novel synthetic squamosamide cyclic derivative, against Parkinson's disease (PD) model mice induced by the inflammatory bacterial endotoxin, lipopolysaccharides (LPS) and the neurotoxin 1-methy-4-phenyl-1, 2, 3, 6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP). C57/BL mice were ip injected LPS (5 mg x kg(-1)) once. One week following the LPS injection, mice received a subcutaneous injection of MPTP (25 mg x kg(-1)) once daily for 2 days. Eight weeks later, FLZ (25, 50 and 75 mg x kg(-1)) was orally administered to mice once daily for 60 days. The motor ability of the mice was evaluated by rod climbing test and footprint test. The dopamine (DA) levels in mouse striatum were determined by high performance liquid chromatography system. The tyrosine hydroxylase (TH)-positive cells were showed by immunohistochemical analysis. FLZ treatment significantly improved motor dysfunction of mice challenged by LPS plus MPTP. The increase of TH-positive cell numbers and elevation of DA levels may be contributed to the beneficial effects of FLZ on motor behavior. This study showed FLZ has significant therapeutic effect on LPS plus MPTP induced chronic PD model, which indicates its potential as a new candidate drug to treat PD.

Neurodegenerative disease is characterized by progressive loss of neurons in specific brain regions that results in neuronal dysfunction of the central nervous system. Although the pathological mechanism is not fully established, the activation of glial cells mediated neuroinflammation appears to be involved. Heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) is originally described as intracellular chaperone, which plays an important role in protein quality control in cells. However, recent study showed that up-regulation of HSP70 had anti-inflammatory effects in the brain. HSP70 protected neurons from damage and improved neurological function by decreasing inflammatory response as indicated by inactivation of glial cells and inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokine release. So it is of great significance to find new compounds targeting at HSP70 as neuroprotective agents to delay the progress of neurodegenerative disease. This review will focus on the role of HSP70 in neuroinflammation and the recent advances in using HSP70 as a target for the treatment of neurodegenerative disease.

Objective To analyze the effect of eukaryotic plasmids containing wild (sense) or anti- sense methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene on cell viability and transcription level of tumor related genes in human gastric cancer cell line. Methods Human gastric cancer cell line MKN-45 was cultured.Recombinant plasmids containing wild MTHFR (W) or antisense MTHFR (A) gene, pCMV-W and pCMV-A,were constructed. Then pCMV-W,pCMV-A and pCMV blank plasmid were transfected into MKN45 cells respectively by using lipofect.Cell viability was analyzed by 3-(4,5-bime- thylthiazolyl-2)-2,5-diphenyhetrazolium dromide(MTT).The transcription levels of Dnmt 1,c-myc, p21~(WAF1) and hMLH1 genes were detected by real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR).Results Cell vi- ability remarkably increased in those transfected with wild MTHFR (P<0.01),which was contrary to those transfected with antisense MTHFR(P<0.01).The expression of those tumor related genes mRNAs were all remarkably decreased in the MKN45-W cells in comparison with those in the MKN45-pCMV cells. No significant difference in the expressions of those tumor related genes mRNAs were found between the MKN45 cells transfected with pCMV-A and blank pCMV.Conclusion MTHFR influences cell viability and the expres- sion level of tumor related genes in human gastric cancer cell line MKN45.

The demand of hospital car in first-aid and patients carrying is urgent in paroxysmal epidemic, disaster and wartime.According to types and characteristics of civil-train,many methods are used to rapidly refit civil-train to hospital car, such as rapid taking down devices from civil-train,installing medical appliances and unloading the device in the civil-train and auxiliaries.Based on analysis and comparison,YZ25G hard-seat train is the best one to refit from civil-train to hospital car.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(04):-
The rapid deployment flow for medical support unit of health-care train is discussed in the aspect of personnel spot-training with carriage. A handbook is compiled for loading and unloading health-care train's equipment. A series of methods and processes are put forward based on the principle of " fixed type of equipment, fixed person for loading or unloading, fixed position, fixed operation steps", which provides a possibility for rapid deployment flow at medical support unit.

Objective: To investigate the value of double source CT(DSCT)in the diagnosis of myocardial bridge(MB)and analyze the correlation of MB-associated coronary atherosclerotic plaque with age. Methods: A total of 417 patients suspected of coronary artery disease(CAD)were divided into a young group(n=137,30-44 yrs),a middle-aged group(n=197,45-59 yrs) and an old group(n=83,60-84 yrs),subjected to DSCT coronary angiography, and analyzed for the differences in the incidence of MB and coronary atherosclerosis. Results: Altogether 76 cases(18.2%) were diagnosed as MB,10(13.2%) in the young,36(47.4%) in the middle-aged and 30(39.5%) in the old group.Of the MB patients,41(53.9%) were complicated with coronary atherosclerotic plaque,2(20.0%) in the young,17(47.2%) in the middle-aged 22(73.3%) in the old group. There were significant statistical differences in the incidence and the nature of coronary atherosclerotic plaque among the 3 groups(P
