Objective To establish a method for quality control of Jiangya Yishen Granula. Methods Spanishneedles Herb, Radix Polygoni Multiflori, Fruetus Corni, Radix Scrophulariae, Rhizoma Alismatis and Radix Cyathula were identified by TLC. A method of HPLC to determine 2,3,5,4’-tetrahydroxystilbene-2-0-?-D-glucosid, the main effective component from Radix Polygoni Multiflori, was developed. Results The studies on the quality control showed that the characteristics for identification by TLC were distinct. The quantification method had the linear range of 0.016 3~0.522 ?g (r=0.999 9). The average recovery rate was 99.7%, and its RSD was 0.51%. Conclusion The methods can be used for the quality control of the preparation.

Objective:Coherence analysis of the EEG is used to study the synchrony or coupling between cortical areas underlying the electrodes. However, the effects of intravenous anesthetics on EEG coherence have not been defined. Method: Forty patients were administered with intravenous thiopental (5mg/kg),propofol (2.5mg/kg ), ketamine(4mg/kg)or fentanyl(10?g/kg). The changes of coherences in total and in a given frequency band of the EEG(?.?.?.?) were measured with an AXON Systems Sentinel-4 Neurological monitor between two pair electrodes(Cz-F_7 vs Cz-F_8 and Cz-A_1 vs Cz-F_2). Result: The anesthetics had significantly different effects on the coherence by either increase or decrease. The variability of the coherences had no regular pattern, and no relationship to excitement or depression of the anesthetics and to potency of them. Conclusion:Each anesthetic above selectively depresses and excites generators of the EEG in quite different ways.

Objective To investigate the expression of FGFR4 in lung adenocarcinoma tissue and its association with the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma. Methods The expression FGFR4 in 128 lung adenocarcinoma tissue and the normal lung tissue was detected by the immunohistochemistry SP method. The relationship between the expression of FGFR4 in lung adenocarcinoma and the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma was analyzed. Results The expression of FGFR4 protein in lung adenocarcinoma was significantly lower than that in the tumor-adjacent normal lung tissue (P<0.05). Expression of FGFR4 protein was not significantly assocoated with gender, age, smoking status, serum CEA levels and tumor location (P > 0.05), but was significantly and positively correlated with the degree of tumor differentiation and T stage, N stage and the clinical TNM stage of lung adenocarcinoma (P < 0.05).Kaplan-Meier survival test showed that the postoperative survival time in the high expression group of FGFR4 was significantly longer than that in the low FGFR4 expression group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The expression of FGFR4 protein in lung adenocarcinoma was significantly lower than that in the tumor-adjacent normal lung tissue. Postoperative survival time in the high FGFR4expression group was significantly longer than that in the low FGFR4 expression group.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the mechanism of Chaiqin Chengqi Decoction (CQCQD), a compound of traditional Chinese herbal medicine, acting on the pancreatic acinar cell calcium overload in rats with acute pancreatitis (AP). METHODS: A total of 30 SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group, untreated group and CQCQD group (n=10, respectively). AP was induced in rats by caerulein (5x50 mug/kg) intraperitoneal injection within 4 h. The pancreatic tissue SERCA1 and SERCA2 mRNA expressions were detected by fluorescent quantization polymerase chain reaction method; intracellular calcium fluorescence intensity (FI) of pancreatic acinar cells and the pancreatic pathological score were measured by laser scanning confocal microscopy and light microscopy respectively. RESULTS: There were no SERCA1 mRNA expressions in pancreatic acinar cells of rats in the normal control group and the untreated group. The expression of pancreatic SERCA2 mRNA in the untreated group was down-regulated compared with that in the normal control group (expression ratio=0.536; P=0.001); the expression of pancreatic SERCA2 mRNA in the CQCQD group was up-regulated compared with that in the untreated group (expression ratio=2.00; P=0.012). The pancreatic pathological score in the CQCQD group was lower than that in the untreated group and the FI of Ca(2+) was also lower. CONCLUSION: CQCQD can up-regulate the expression of pancreatic SERCA2 mRNA, release the calcium overload, and hence reduce the pathological changes in pancreatic tissue.

Objective:To correlate neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) with cardiac function in patients with acute myocardial infarction (ACI) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and investigate its clinical value in predicting major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs) in patients. Methods:A total of 120 patients with AMI who underwent PCI at Wenzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from March 2020 to February 2023 were included in this prospective study. The difference in NLR measured 1 day after PCI relative to that measured at 5 days after surgery (?NLR) was correlated with cardiac function ultrasound indicators measured at 3 months after surgery, myocardial injury, and inflammatory biochemical indicators at 1 day after surgery. The MACEs occurring within 3 months after surgery were recorded. The value of ΔNLR recorded during the early stage after PCI for predicting MACEs in patients with AMI was evaluated. Results:At 3 months after surgery, 13 out of 120 patients with AMI (10.83%) had MACEs. The ?NLR in patients with AMI who had MACEs was (3.55 ± 0.47), which was significantly higher than (2.06 ± 0.34) in patients with AMI who had no MACEs ( t = 17.25, P < 0.001). An optimal critical value of ?NLR for predicting MACEs after PCI in patients with AMI was 2.75, with an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.972, a sensitivity of 90.70%, and a specificity of 91.10%. Conclusion:Increased NLR during the early stage after PCI in patients with AMI is closely related to decreased cardiac function, and worsened myocardial injury and inflammatory reactions. Changes in NLR after PCI in patients with AMI have a highly valuable value for predicting MACEs in these patients.
