Objective To assess the changes of the velocity, strain and strain rate on the corresponding vascular of plaque and without plaque, bard plaque and soft plaque, the cupular part of fiber cowl and shoulder of plaque. Methods Eighty-six patients with coronary artery disease(CAD)according to the results of coronary arteriography and 50 normal subjects underwent the high frequency ultrasound, and carotid artery intima media thickness(IMT)was detected. The velocity, strain and stain rate of carotid were obtained by velocity vector imaging(VVI)speckle tracking technique. Results The level of IMT in CAD patients was higher than that in normal control(P<0.05).The systolic maximum velocity of carotid with normal contract was higher significantly than that of carotid without plaque with CAD(P<0.05).The systolic maximum velocity and strain rate of soft plaque in carotid atherosclerosis were higher significantly than those of hard plaque(P<0.001,P<0.05).The maximum velocity and strain rate of fabric cowl in carotid atheroscIerosis plaque were lower significantly than those of plaque shoulder(P<0.05,P<0.00 1).Conclusions VVI technique could early detect the elasticity degree of blood vessel wall, artherosclerosis and the mechanism asynchrony of the plaque intima. The value difference could be used as the predictive parameter and quantization for artherosclerosis and plaque instability.

Objective To investigate the relationship between cytomegalovirus infection and biliary atresia. Methods Sixteen infants with CMV infection and biliary atresia were retrospectively reviewed and compared with clinical manifestations with 29 infants with CMV hepatitis. Results Both serum CMV-IgM antibody and CMV-pp65 in polymophnuclear leukocytes were found positive in 9 cases, only CMV IgM antibody was found positive in 1 case and only CMV-pp65 were found positive in 3 cases, both CMV-IgM and CMV-pp65 were found negative in 3 cases.14 of 15 cases of CMV-pp65 were detected in liver tissues including 3 cases with negative CMV-IgM antibody and CMV-pp65 in blood. The clinical indexes in these 16 cases were much more severe than which in 29 infants with CMV hepatitis (P

Objective To evaluate the rehabilitation effects of walk exercise training on the heart function rehabilitation in the patients with heart failure with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction (HFPEF) .Methods A total of 142 cases of HFPEF were randomly assigned to 2 groups on the basis of medication therapy ;the control group (70 cases) was given only routine medica‐tion therapy without the exercise prescription; On the bases of control group ,the exercise group (72 cases) conducted the rehabilita‐tion training according to the exercise prescription .After 24 weeks follow up ,6 min walking distance ,plasma NT‐proBNP level and left ventricular diastolic function were compared between the two groups .Results The 6 min walking distance after walk exercise training in the exercise group was significantly increased compared with before walk exercise training and the control group ,while the level of NT‐proBNP was significant decreased(P<0 .01) .Conclusion The walking exercise training mode according to the ex‐ercise prescription can significantly improve the exercise tolerance in the HFPEF .

Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of electroencephalograph(EEG)biofeedback on clinical symptoms and cognitive function of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD).Methods Twenty children aged(10.4?2.2)years old who were diagnosed as ADHD according to American Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental disorders the 4th ed received EEG biofeedback treatment. The treatment was administered by Autogenic A620 machine,? wave(4-8 Hz)was suppressed and sensory motor rate wave was strengthened(12-15 Hz)at the same time. The treatment was total 40 times. Before and after treatment,Conner's Behavior Rating Scale-parent questionnaire was administered to assess the clinical symptoms, wechsler memory scale(WMS)to assess the long-term memory,short-term memory and instantaneous memory, number cancellation test and stroop test were used to assess the cognitive process speed and selective attention, and continuous performance test(CPT)was administered to assess the attention and impulsiveness. The children in healthy control group who compared with ADHD children by one to one came from the primary or middle school near the hospital, the age difference between ADHD child and healthy control group was within 6 months. All the measurements were administered to the healthy control group. Results After the EEG biofeedback treatment, the score of behavior factor in Conners Scale decreased significantly(P0.05).Conclusions Forty sessions EEG biofeedback can improve clinical symptoms, attention, memory, selective attention and cognitive process speed of ADHD children significantly, some indicators even become normal.

[Objective] To explore the effect of wind-expelling and blood-cooling therapy in treating chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP) . [Methods] Thirteen cases of chronic ITP differentiated in TCM as heat-induced blood extravasation (group A) were treated with wind-expelling and blood-cooling therapy. The changes of peripheral T-lymphocyte subsets and natural killer (NK) cells before and after treatment were observed and compared with the normal volunteers (group B). [Results] Before treatment, peripheral T-lymphocyte subsets of CD3 and CD4 levels, CD4/CD8 ratio and NK cells count were lower in group A than those in group B while CD8 level was higher ( P

Objective To report a case of vaginal colonization due to Trichosporon inkin. Methods A 34-year-old female presented with increased vaginal discharge accompanied by abnormal odor for 2 months. Clinical laboratory examination was carried out. Cultures of vaginal discharge yielded yeast-like colony. Subsequently, the isolate underwent the following mycological examinations: purification, slide micro-culture, temperature test, urea enzyme test, biochemistry identification, antifungal susceptibility test, and gene sequencing. Results Gynecological examination revealed white homogeneous secretions attached to mucous membrane of the vagina. Nugent scores of vaginal discharge amounted to 5-6. Two rounds of culture of vaginal discharge resulted in stramineous, reductus and yeast-like colony. The isolate could grow in 42 ℃. Appressorium on the top of hypha and typical sarcinae formed in slide microculture of corn agar, and yeast malt agar was the optimal growth medium for it. Urea enzyme test was positive. API 20C AUX biochemical test and gene sequencing revealed that the isolate was consistent with Trichosporon inkin. The isolate was sensitive to amphotericin B and azoles such as clotrimazole and fluconazole, but resistant to flucytosine and caspofungin. Conclusions It is the first report of vaginal colonization due to T. Inkin in China. The accu-rate identification of T. Inkin relies on synthetic analysis of phenotype characteristics, biochemistry test and molecular sequencing.
