3.Cellular immunoresponse in patients with severe drug resistance-falciparum malaria and results of combined treatment of quinin, SMP and thymogen
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):7-11
The study was carried out on 52 patients with severe falciparum malaria: 26 cases were treated by quinine, SMP in combination with Thymogene (control group). The results showed that: There is a reduction on cellular immune response in severe malaria. Thymogen has contributed to increase the immune response in comparison with this before treatment. Thymogen has contributed shortening time to defervescence, clearance of parasitaemia and coma duration in 2-days after treatment in comparison to control group. Thymogen also has contributed reducing mortality in severe malaria

5.Advances in the treatment of ventricular septal defect
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;40(4):362-366
Ventricular septal defect is one of the most common congenital heart diseases in children.Surgical repair, transcatheter closure and hybrid procedure are common clinical treatments. The traditional therapy for ventricular septal defect is cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass.Recent publications have reported the safe and effective results of the transcatheter therapy and hybrid procedure for ventricular septal defect. This paper provides an overview of the indications, complications and latest progress about the main three therapies for ventricular septal defect in order to explore a more rational method.
6.Clinical research on the surgery treatment for prostate hyperplasia together with bladder tumor simultaneously
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(7):1005-1008
Objective To explore the effect of the electrocision treatment for the same period of the prostatic hyperplasia and bladder cancer patients. Methods Doing the grouping therapy for 166 patients in our hospital who have agreed on the research.Group A:doing the bladder tumor part electricity cutting surgery and removing the prostate gland excision above pubis simultaneously,60 cases,Group B:doing the bladder tumor part electricity cutting surgery and the prostate gland excision transurethral resection electricity cutting simultaneously,66 cases,Group C:only doing the bladder tumor part electricity cutting surgery transurethral resection,44 cases. Results (1) Patients' recovering situation in group A was close to that of patients in group B,but operation time and average hospitalization time was (43.2 ± 16.7) min and (11.3 ± 2.4) d,which were obviously lower than those of group A (P < 0.05).The amount of blood loss of group B was (119.5 ± 72.1) ml,which was obviously less than that of group A(P < 0.05).While the lien urine tube time of group B was (8.6 ± 2.4)d,less than group A.(2)Patients of group A and group B's dysuresia had been improved obviously after the operation. There were only 3.2% of the patients in group A and group B appearing dysuresia after the operation, but in the group C there was still 28.5% having dysuresia after the operation,(3)The incidence rate of intraoperative complications was the highest in group A(33.2%),next group C (21.3%),the lowest group B(12.6%).(4) Follow-up 1 year, the recurrent rate of the bladder tumor in group A was 25.3%,group B 18.2%,group C 23.7%,all the tumor recurrences are ectopic recurrences, and after the further consultation, none of those patients taking the electricity cutting surgery relapse again. Conclusions Patients who have Prostate hyperplasia and bladder cancer can avoid the pain of second surgery by taking the electricity cutting surgery, shorten their length of time in hospital, and reduce the costs of health care.Compared with traditional methods, the method of operation is safe relatively, and can control the incidence of complication effectively. From the follow-up visiting,we can find that this surgery has many advantages such as the reliable curative effect, and the lower recurrent rate,so it can be used widely for reference.
7.Mechanism of insulin resistance induced by bisphenol A
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;(2):122-125
Bisphenol A(BPA) is one of the environmental endocrine disruptors with estrogenic properties, and it is also one of the most widespread compounds in the manufacture of polycarbonate plastics. Many studies confirmed that BPA exposure for long-term could lead to obesity, precocious puberty, insulin resistance (IR) et al.IR was defined as the decrease sensitivity in insulin action on the target tissues, which would result in impaired glucose tolerance and diabetes.A number of experiments and clinical investigations found that BPA could induce IR by affecting the function of islet beta cell, glucose transporter and adiponectin secretion. This review aims to summarize the mechanism of IR induced by BPA.
8.Inborn errors of bile acid synthesis
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2015;(4):301-305
Inborn errors of bile acid synthesis caused by enzyme defects are inherited metabolic rare diseases and mostly belong to the autosomal recessive hereditary diseases. They are clinically manifested as progressive cholestasis liver disease, neurological disorders, and fat-soluble vitamin malabsorption. The progressive cholestasis liver disease is characterized by conju-gated hyperbilirubinaemia with raised transaminase, but normal γ-glutamyl transpeptidase (γ-GT), and a biopsy specimen shows giant cell hepatitis. The neurological disorders usually present with childhood-onset or adult-onset spastic paraplegia. Early diag-nosis is important because oral administration of bile acids is effective for two disorders above. This article reviews pathophyso-logy, clinical features and various enzyme defects of inborn errors of bile acid synthesis.
9.Application of double-center teaching mode in Emergency Nursing course
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2014;(7):732-735
Objective To explore the double center teaching model in the application of emergency nursing teaching effect. Methods 120 higher vocational nursing students were randomly divided into experimental group(60) and control group(60). The experimental group used the double-center teaching mode, while the control group used traditional teaching mode. At the end of the course, students of both groups were given theoretical examination and skills examination, and the experimental group students' self-evaluation was surveyed by questionnaire . The obtained data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 12.0 software, with the test scores represented by (x±s), questionnaire, investigation with percentage statistics and comparison between groups with t test. The difference was statistically significant ( P=0 . 034、0 . 016、0 . 000 ) . Results The experimental group's theory achievement , case analysis result and practical result were all higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P=0.034, 0.016, 0.000). 93.33% of nursing students thought that double main teaching effect was better; 88.33% of nursing students thought it could develop their ability to learn independently;86.67%of nursing students thought it could enhance the team cooperation spirit;85.00%of nursing students thought that it could improve the efficiency of first aid knowledge learning and first aid skills. Compared with t test between groups, the difference was statistically significant, (P<0.05 ). Conclusion The double-center teaching mode is an effective model to improve the effect of emergency nursing teaching, and it will provide the basis for other disciplines teaching reform.
