Objective:To investigate the anti-tumor effect of C215gene transfected tumor vaccin e and monoclonal antibody-superantigen fusion protein C215Fab-SEA.Methods:B16 melonoma cells were transfected with the gene encoding a human colon adenoca rcinoma cell-surface glycoprotein C215 to produce a tumor vaccine, melanom a models were established in C57BL/6 mice to observe the antitumor effect of the tumor vaccine and the fusion protein C215Fab-SEA.Results:Tumor growth in mice treated with the vaccine tog e ther with the fusion protein C215Fab-SEA was significantly inhibited comp ared with the control group(P<0.01),while the tumor growth in group treate d wi th the vaccine only and group treated with the fusion protein only were not obvi ously inhibited compared with the controls. Conclusion:The fusion protein C215Fab-SEA could enh ance the effect of C215-transfected tumor vaccine against the growth of C 215-negative tumors.

International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2006;0(05):-
In the field of gene delivery, nonviral vectors are getting more attention due to the advantages which do not belong to viral vectors. But kinds of polypeptides are important to construct ideal nonviral vectors. The paper reviews the development in the research of polypeptides as components of nonviral vectors like as the backbone, the targeting moiety, the endosome membrane destabilizing agents and the nuclear localizing signals.
5.Continuous Electroencephalographic Monitoring in Acute Cerebrovascular Diseases
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2006;0(10):-
Continuous electroencephalographic monitoring (CEEG) has been used for clinical monitoring of acute cerebrovascular diseases for nearly 3 decades, but it has not been used as a conventional monitoring approach in clinical practice. In recent 15 years,CEEG technology has made considerable progress, especially in the field of real-time monitoring of acute cerebral ischemia and epilepsy, which has provided a new possible direction for the diagnosis and treatment of acute cerebrovascular diseases. The article briefly comments the application of CEEG in acute cerebrovascular diseases.

Objective To evaluate arthroscopic PCL (posterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction with an implant fixaliun of hamstring tendon knot and bottle-neck technique. Methods Thirteen cases with PCL injury were treated with arthroscopic PCL reconstruction with an implant fixation of hamstring tendon knot and bottle-neck technique between April,2002 to June,2005.The patients were followed up fur at least seven months to evaluate the clinical effects by means of ROM of the joint, post drawer test,Lachman test,Lysholm and IKDC (International Knee Documents Committee) scores. Results The patients were followed up for an average of 13.4 months. No limitation of knee extension was found six months after operation.Eleven patients had normal knee flexion(>140?), one had knee flexion of 120?and one 100?.In posterior drawer test,11 patients were gradeⅠand two gradeⅡ.In Lachman test,11 patients were rated as within gradeⅠand two gradeⅡ.By Lysholm knee function scale, the average knee scores were 90.47?4.13 and 78.82?2.46 respectively before and after operation, and the dif- ference was of statistical significance (t=2.416,P=0.029).By IKDC scale, six were grade A,five grade B and one grade C.Conclusion Arthroseopic PCL reconstruction with an implant fixation of hamstring tendon knot and bottle-neck technique is a reliable method to restore knee function and will have a prospect of wide application be- cause of its good tissue biocompatibility, less invasion, and less operative expenditure.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression level of HOTAIR and cellular radiosensitivity in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Methods Four ESCC cell lines ( K150, K450, TE-1, and Eca109 ) were used in this study. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction was applied to measure the expression level of HOTAIR in the above cell lines;colony-forming assay was applied to measure the survival fraction of different cells irradiated by different doses of X-ray. The t-test or analysis of variance was applied for analysis of differences. The correlation analysis was used by Pearson methods. Results The four cell lines all showed high expression levels of HOTAIR and radioresistance. Compared with the other three cell lines, Eca109 had a lower expression level of HOTAIR, a lower survival fraction at each radiation dose point, and significantly lower D0 and Dq . The mRNA expression level of HOTAIR and radiosensitivity were K150

Objective:To investigate the antiangiogenetic ability of Roquinimex for human colorectal cancer in vivo, and to study the possible mechanism of Roquinimex. Methods:The transplanted model of human colorectal cancer in nude mice was established and the effection of various doses of Roquinimex were compared. The microvesssal density (MVD) in tumor tissue of nude mice was accounted by immunohistochemical method. We also observed the antiangiogenesis effection of Roquinimex for chick embryo chorioallantic membrane (CEM).Rusults:Roquinimex did inhibit the growth of SW1116 in nude mice.In all doses of Roquinimex treated group, the masses were less than that in control group ( P
