Objective Cavernous hemangioma of infant was reported as an obscure diagnosis with the different sensitivity to corticosteroid therapy and various natural courses. Therefore, a clinical studies for the biological classification of deep subcutanious vascular lesions might be needed, which was alluded by Mulliken two decades ago. Methods Infants with cavernous hemangiomas accepted normal system corticosteroid therapy during the first 6 months of life before eight-year-follow-up, which continued until the children were 9 to 10 years old. The expression of PCNA and bFGF, and cellular histological characteristics were observed in 12 cases by biopsy. Results There were two major categories of subcutaneous vascular lesions groups: deep capillary hemangiomas, a lesion regressing slowly, and venous malformation, a lesion growing commensurated with the child. They will be also distinguished on the basis of diverse final treatment results, expression of cellular markers, microscopical characteristics, and physical signs. Conclusion The new classification appears to be helpful to make the choice of therapy for infants with "cavernous hemangiomas" , which is proven to be a terminologic confusion.

Objective To investigate change of chemokine mRNA and protein in the patients with diabetes mellitus(DM)complicated infection. Methods Fourty-eight patients with DM complicated infection were studied.Expression of mRNA and protein of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1)and interleukin 8 (IL-8)were measured by FQ-PCR,RT-PCR and ELISA.The relationship between hs-CRP,PMNL,IL-8 and MCP-1 were analyzed. Results Expression of mRNA and protein of MCP-1 and IL-8 were increased in the DM patients complicated infection.MCP-1 mRNA(mesured by FQ-PCR)was positively correlated with the protein(IL-8 r = 0.33;MCP-1 r = 0.88;P

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2022;57(5):1322-1335
Flavonoids is one of the biggest families of the plant-derived secondary metabolites with structural diversity. Until now, over 10 000 kinds of flavonoids with distinct structures have been purified and identified from plants, and some of them possess a range of important pharmacological effects, such as anticancer, anti-inflammatory and so on. So far, a number of genes and enzymes responsible for the biosynthesis of flavonoids have been reported, especially, a great of progress has been achieved in the synthetic biology of flavonoids in the recent years. Herein, based upon a brief introduction on the biosynthesis of flavonoids, this review summarizes the research advances in synthetic biology of flavonoids in the past two decades (2001-2021), highlighting the cell factories construction of the representative flavonoids. And, a brief discussion and prospects of the relevant metabolic bottlenecks and optimizing strategies are proposed.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effcacy of the staple fixation for the treatment of hamate metacarpal joint injury.
METHODSFrom May 2009 to November 2012,16 patients with hamate metacarpal joint injury were treated with staple fixation including 10 males and 6 females with an average age of 33.6 years old ranging from 21 to 57 years. Among them, 11 cases were on the fourth or fifth metacarpal base dislocation without fractures, 5 cases were the fourth or fifth metacarpal base dislocation with avulsion fractures of the back of hamatum. Regular X-ray review was used to observe the fracture healing, joint replacement and position of staple fixation. The function of carpometacarpal joint and metacarpophalangeal joint were evaluated according to ASIA (TAM) system evaluation method.
RESULTSAll incision were healed well with no infection. All patients were followed up from 16 to 24 months with an average of (10.0 +/- 2.7) months. No dislocation recurred, the position of internal fixator was good,no broken nail and screw withdrawal were occurred. Five patients with avulsion fracture of the back of hamatum achieved bone healing. The function of carpometacarpal joint and metacarpophalangeal was excellent in 10 cases, good in 5 cases, moderate in 1 case.
CONCLUSIONThe application of the staple for the treatment of hamatometacarpal joint injury has the advantages of simple operation, small trauma, reliable fixation, early postoperative function exercise and other advantages, which is the ideal operation mode for hamatometacarpal joint injury.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2000;0(12):-
Objective To evaluate the damage degree of diseased kidneys in children with hydrone- phrosis using urinary?2-microglobulin(?2-MG),albumin(Alb),T-H glycoprotein(THP)and immuno- globulin(IgG).Methods The?2-MG,Alb,THP and IgG in pelvis urine in diseased kidneys and in healthy kidneys(as controls)were detected in 78 children with congenital hydronephrosis by radioimmuno- assay;at the same time urinary creatinine(Cr)was detected in 36 cases of them.Pathologic changes of the diseased kidneys were graded;and the correlations of pathologic grades with?2-MG,Alb,THP,IgG and?2-MG/Cr,Alb/Cr,THP/Cr,IgG/Cr were analyzed by Spearman's test. Results In healthy and hydro- nephrotic pelvises, the relevant parameters were as follows.Urine?2-MG was(130.06?22.02)ng/ml vs(386.18?42.15)ng/ml;Alb was(80.52?9.32)ng/ml vs(275.54?69.46)ng/ml,respectively (both P<0.05).Urine?2-MG/Cr was(0.16?0.04)ng/?mol vs(1.57?0.39)ng/?mol;Alb/Cr was (0.11?0.03)ng/?mol vs(1.07?0.56)ng/?mol(both P<0.01).THP was(25.80?9.02)ng/ml vs(31.43?10.56)ng/ml;and IgG was(15.21?3.56)ng/ml vs(20.52?10.85)ng/ml(P>0.05). THP/Cr was(0.05?0.01)ng/?mol vs(0.14?0.06)ng/?mol;and IgG/Cr was(0.04?0.01)ng/?mol vs(0.12?0.05)ng/?mol(P<0.05).There was significant correlation between urine?2-MG,Alb lev- els and pathologic grades(P<0.05),also between?2-MG/Cr,Alb/Cr levels and pathologic grades(P<0.01).There was positive correlation between THP,IgG and pathologic grades but with no significance(P>0.05),also between THP/Cr,IgG/Cr and pathologic grades with significance(P<0.05).Conclu- sions For hydronephrotic kidneys,urine?2-MG/Cr can evaluate the damage degree of nephric tubules, whereas urine Alb/Cr can evaluate that of glomeruli.Increase in THP/Cr and IgG/Cr respectively indicate the impaired nephric tubules and glomeruli in children with congenital hydronephrosis.

Serum tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels were measured in patients with simple hyperuricemia or hyperlipidemia combined with hyperglycemia and hyperuricemia. The results showed that TNF-?,IL-6 levels in patients with hyperuricemia were higher than those in normal controls (both P
