Methods:The ingredients were separated on an Agilent DB-5 quartz capillary column (30 m ×0.25 mm, 0.25 μm), the carrier gas was N2,and the flow rate was 1 ml·min-1. The column temperature was maintained at 130℃, the injection temperature was 250℃,the detection temperature was 280℃ with an FID as the detector , the injection volume was 2 μl, and the split ratio was 20∶1. Results:A good linear relationship was obtained between the peak area and the concentration of amantadine hydrochloride within the range from 0.103 2 to 6.456 0 mg·ml-1(r =0.999 9). The average recovery was 100.18%(RSD=0. 11%, n=6). Conclusion:The method is specific, accurate, reliable and reproducible, which can be used in the quality control of pediatric paracetamol and amanatadine hydrochloride granules.

Objective:To improve the quality standard for Shengji ointment. Methods:A TLC method was used to identify Resina draconis and Olibanum. An HPLC method was used to determine the content of silver sulfadiazine. The detection wavelength was set at 254 nm. The determination was performed on a Wondasil C18 column(250 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5 μm) with the mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile-0. 1% phosphoric acid(8: 92). The injection volume was 5 μl. Results:The TLC spots were clear, specific and repro-ducible. A good linear relationship was obtained between the peak areas and the concentrations of sulfadiazine within the range of 40. 97-1024. 18 μg·ml-1(r=0. 9999). The average recovery was 100. 17% (RSD=0. 64%,n=6). Conclusion: The methods are easy-operated, specific, reproducible and accurate, which can be used for the quality control of the preparation.

A pot experiment was conducted to study effect of drought stress on leaf physiological characteristics and growth of one year old Stellaria dichotoma seedlings. The result showed that plant height and shoot dry weight significantly decreased with decrease in soil water content; however, root length and root dry weight increased at light drought stress and decreased at severe drought stress. The result also showed that with the decrease of soil water content, proline content in S. dichotoma leaves decreased then increase, while solube protein content decreased. Activities of SOD and POD in S. dichotoma leaves significantly decreased as soil water content decreased, while activity of CAT significantly decreased at severe drought stress. Membrane permeability in S. dichotoma leaves increased, while MDA content decreased then increased as soil water decreased. These results suggest that S. dichotoma had osmotic stress resistance ability and reactive oxygen scavenging capacity at light drought stress, which caused S. dichotoma growth was no inhibited at a certain extent drought stress.

This study was aimed to diffuse the lung and promote urination for the observation of cardiopulmonary re-lated index change of cor pulmonale rats to further explore the treatment effect on the pulmonary function, pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and the influence of right heart hypertrophy of rats, in order to further illustrate the ef-fect of diffusing the lung and promoting urination for cor pulmonale. Sixty Wistar rats were randomly divided into the control group, model group and Xiao-Qing-Long decoction (XQLD) group with 20 rats in each group. The AniRes2003 animal lung function analysis system was applied to measure the pulmonary function of rats. And the multi-guide physiological recorder was used in the recording of the pulmonary artery pressure of rats. The conven-tional weighing method was applied to calculate and obtain the change of right heart hypertrophy. The results showed that compared to the control group, symptoms in the model group became severe obviously, which include reduced activity, slow movement and occasional airway sputum sound, and the right heart hypertrophy index of the model group increased obviously (P < 0.01). Compared to the model group, the pulmonary function and pulmonary artery pressure of the XQLD group have obvious difference (P< 0.05). It was concluded that to diffuse the lung and pro-mote urination can effectively improve the pulmonary function, PAH and the right heart hypertrophy index of rats with cor pulmonale (fluid retention). The effect of this method is definite in the treatment of cor pulmonale.

A strain ph 16 , that could effectively degrade phenol, was isolated from sewer sludge of printing and dyeing plant. The preliminary identification sugg ested that the strain belongs to Micrococcus sp. The strain could resist to phenol up to 1.5 g/L. The efficient biodegradation of phenol occurred when th e strain was cultured in the medium (pH 7.0) containing 1.0 g/L phenol under 35℃, wh er e the highest degradation rate reach 99.6% after 36 hours. This strain, when t re ated with some heavy metal ions such as Hg +、Co 2+ and Ag 2+ , showe d the significant inhibition of phenol degradation by 74.2%~100%. The kinetic s of phenol degradation during culture of the strain was also explored.

【Objective】To explore the optimal conditions in fingerprinting (APHDF).【Methods】The human DNA fingerprints were detected by APHDF.A pair of short primers was used for amplification. The experimental conditions including template,Mg2+,deoxyribonucleotides,and parameters of cycle, were optimized.【Results】The template DNA should be abstracted freshly and the concentration should be ranged from 50~550 mg/L.The best concentration of Mg2+was 5.0 mmol/L.The deoxyribonucleotides concentration was optimal at 0.2 mmol/L.The PCR cycling parameters were as follows :The denaturing temperatures, annealing temperatures and extension temperatures were 94 ℃ and 90 ℃ for 30 s,43 ℃ and 48 ℃ for 40 s or 50 s,and 72 ℃ for 1 min or 80 s,respectively.【Conclusion】The optimal conditions of the experiment are obtained, with good reproducibility and high specificity. Therefore, this method can be widely applied in practice.

Objective To discuss the surgical outcome and operative technique of the modified trans-petrosal presigmoid approach in treating cases with facial nerve palsy after petral bone fracture trea- ted with facial nerve canal decompression method. Methods A total of 15 cases with facial nerve pal- sy were treated with traumatic facial nerve canal decompression technique with the trans-petrosal presig- mold approach combined with high-dose hormone therapy, whereas 12 cases were treated with traditional Chinese medicine. The clinical data were analysed and compared retrospectively according to House- Brackmann facial nerve grading scale. Results At acute stage,eight(53.3%)out of 15 cases recov- ered to levelⅠ(P<0.05),with no significant postoperative complications such as CSF leakage. Conclusions This approach is simple and safe and can expose extensively the facial nerve bone canal and effectively alleviate the edemous facial nerve aided by high-dose hormone therapy. Therefore,it is suitable for surgical treatment of acute facial nerve palsy after petral bone fractures.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effect of Buyang Huanwu decoction (BHD) drug serum on rat's in vitro cultured cerebral cortical neuron apoptosis induced by hypoxia, and on the expression of p53 and p21 genes in hypoxia process.
METHODSThe model of hypoxia neuron apoptosis was established adopting Daniel method and treated with BHD drug serum. The neuron apoptosis rate was determined by flow cytometry with propidium iodide staining, the p53 and p21 gene expression was tested by immunohistochemical method with flow cytometry.
RESULTSBHD could significantly inhibit the neuron apoptosis induced by hypoxia and down-regulate the expressions of p53 and p21 genes.
CONCLUSIONBHD shows inhibition on neuron hypoxia apoptosis and down-regulating of the p53 and p21 gene expression is one of its mechanisms.
