Objective To study the changes of the urinary ?-1 microglobulin and urinary immunoglobulin G(IgG) and to investigate the relationship between these two proteins and the allograft function after renal transplantation. Methods Twenty-nine renal transplant recipients were included in the study.Urinary ?-1 microglobulin and urinary IgG were analyzed at d 1,7,14,21,28 after renal transplantation. The allograft function was evaluated based on the clinical manifestations, laboratory and imaging examinations, and the relationship between urinary ?-1 microglobulin,IgG and serum cretinine(SCr) were analysed. Results Urinary ?-1 microglobulin and urinary IgG correlated with SCr after renal transplantation in one month.Of all the 29 cases,14 experienced allograft function recovery(group A),and 15 failed(group B).Urinary ?-1 microglobulin decreased significantly in group A(P

6.Expression of glucose-regulated protein in rat retina with acute high intraocular pressure and its significance
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(5):424-427
BackgroundThe progressive death of retinal ganglion cells (RGCs) is the primary pathological characteristics of visual defects in glaucomatous eye.Research showed that endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) is involved in this progression.Glucose-regulated protein 78 ( GRP78 ) is a special marker of ERS.To understand the change in expression of GRP78 in the retina under the pressure induced is very important for the protection of visual function. Objective The present study was to observe the expression of GRP78 in rat retina with acute high intraocular pressure (IOP) and investigate the possible effect of ERS in acute glaucoma damage. MethodsFiftysix Wistar rats were randomly assigned to normal control group, anterior chamber punctured group and 12 hours,1 day,3,7,14 days groups following acute IOP rising. The acute high IOP models were established in the right eyes of 4.0 Wistar rats by paracentesis of the anterior chamber and infusion of normal saline solution into the anterior chamber. The histopathology changes of the retina were examined by hemotoxylin and eosin staining. The expression of GRP78 protein and mRNA in the retina were detected by immunohistochemistry and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR.ResultsThe retinal layers and cells were clear with normal alignement in the rats of the normal control group and the anterior chamber punctured group. The edema and thickening of retinas appeared in 12 hours after molding and peaked in 1 day after molding. Then the retina decreased in thickness and atrophied from 3 days through 14 days. The expression levels of GRP78 protein (A value) were 0.195±0.006 in the nounal rats and gradually increased from 12 hours through 3 days (0.268±0.017) following molding with the peak value at 1 day (0.499±0.039 ),showing significant differences in comparison with the normal control group (t =0.098,0.304,0.073,P<0.05),and the reduction in expression at 7 and 14 days were not significantly different from the normal control group ( t =0.002,0.001,P>0.05 ).The relative value of GRP78 mRNA ( 2△△C1 ) in the retina was 1.011 ±0.013 in the normal control group and gradually up-regulated from 12 hours through 3 days with the peak value at Iday (2.141±0.171 ) and then down-regulated from the third day onwards.A significant difference was seen in 2-△△C1value between the normal control group and 12 hours group,1 day group or 3 group ( t =0.525,1.130,0.409,P<0.05 ).However, the 2-△△C1 values of GRP78 mRNA at 7 and 14 days was similar to that of the normal control group (t=0.020,0.004,P>0.05).ConclusionsGRP78 participates in the process of RGCs damage following acute high IOP.The results suggest that interfering with ERS may be helpful for protecting the retina and optical nerve from pressure-induced damage.
7.Causes and treatment of gastrointestinal complications following anterior approach to thoracolumbar fracture and dislocation
Chinese Journal of Trauma 1993;0(06):-
Objective To explore the causes and treatment of gastrointestinal complications after anterior approach for thoracolumbar fracture and dislocation. Methods A retrospective analysis was carried out in 153 cases with thoracolumbar fracture and dislocation undergone anterior approach from Jan- uary 1999 to October 2003.Postoperative gastrointestinal complication was seen in 15 cases including sev- en with dynamic intestinal obstructions, three with stress ulcer, three with intestinal bacteria imbalance, one with tuberculosis peritonitis resulted from dissemination of primary tuberculosis, and one with acute relapse of chronic appendicitis. Results All patients were effectively cured by using corresponding methods in regard of different causes.Conclusions(1)Gastrointestinal complications following ante- rior approach for thoracolumbar fracture and dislocation are mainly resulted from following causes,ie,se- rious primary trauma, primary gastrointestinal vegetative nerve injury or that caused by surgical operation, intraoperative contusions of abdominal viscera, postoperative retroperitoneal hematoma, acute lesion of gastric mucous membrane as well as imbalance of intestinal flora.(2)Correct treatment of primary trau- ma,meticulous operation, reasonable utility of antibiotics and appropriate management can effectively prevent and control gastrointestinal complications.
8.Clinical efficacy of acupuncture and rehabilitation treatment on oculomotor nerve palsy patients
International Eye Science 2014;(6):1165-1167
AIM: To explore the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese acupuncture combined with conventional rehabilitation therapy onoculomotor nerve palsy patients.METHODS: From May 2005 to September 2012, 110 cases ofoculomotor palsy were divided into treatment group and control group with 55 cases in each group according to different methods of treatment. The control group received rehabilitation therapy, the treatment group received acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy. Before and after 8wk treatment, the light reflex, diopter case, eye fissure width, and eye movement to improve the overall efficiency of the situation were observed between the two groups.
RESULTS: After treatment of 8wk, light reflex, diopter case, eye fissure width, and eye movement therapy total effective rate of the treatment group were all better than the control group (P<0. 05);The eye movement improved in the treatment were 47 cases which accounting for 85-5%, in the control group there were 36 cases which accounting for 65. 5%, the treatment group had a higher improvement (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: Acupuncture therapy combined with rehabilitation training method significantly reduces the oculomotor nerve palsy in patients with clinical symptoms and improves the patient's quality of life.

China Pharmacy 2015;(26):3706-3708
OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy and ADR of Fuzheng huaji pills in the adjunctive treatment of mid-dle and advanced primary liver cancer. METHODS:122 patients with middle and advanced primary liver cancer who had lost the chance or were unwilling to accept surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy were randomly divided into control group (61 cases) and study group(61 cases). The control group received conservative treatment such as hepatoprotecives;the study group was treat-ed with Fuzheng huaji pills 1 pills per time,3 times a day, additionally for 30 days. The tumor volume changes, major clinical symptom scores, quality of life, hemorheology indexes and alpha-fetal protein(AFP),lab index and ADR were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:After treatment, tumor stable rate of study group was 67.2%,the improvement rate of life quality 27.9%, and AFP(563.35±143.17)pg/L;the scores of liver pain, abdominal distension, loss of appetite and fatigue, and plasma viscosity, whole blood viscosity, erythrocyte sedimentation rate decreased greatly, there were significant differences, compared to control group (P<0.05). One patient in study group suffered from diarrhea, and the symptom was relieved after symptomatic treatment;no obvious ADR was found. CONCLUSIONS:Through stabling tumor, improving major clinical symptom, life quality and hemorheology indexes,Fuzheng huaji pills play a synergistic treatment effect on primary liver cancer.
